On a good day, these people altogether might have a brain! Ignorant and they think that they are doing something right? Because they are so narcissistic they are unable to face the fact that they are complete failures!

Wait time is unreal but staff is very nice. Ive been here waiting for Doc in the room for 20 mins. In total 1hr and a half before you see a doc. Its very Inconsiderate to peoples time to make them wait 1 1/2 before seeing a doc. Office is on Grand in Pediatrics office.

Horrible experience and then when you file a complaint they simply kick you out of the system. The wait time is worst than a pantry line. Bad bad staff!

I was recently at the Port Charlotte office with my children, the front desk girl was super nice, helpful and efficient but then I had toWait at least an hour to be called back for Triage by Ana who is also the office manager. Ana was the rudest and most unprofessional MA/manager I have ever met not to mention I couldn’t understand her and had to keep asking “What” then what she reported or wrote in the triage report wasn’t even what my concern was so in my eyes she is also a lier. Family Health Centers biggest mistake was making this lady and office manager. She should not be able to have contact of any kind with the patients. Dr. Hegarty was the nicest most caring pediatrician I have ever met. The only thing that could make this office better is to get a better office manager.

Terrible experience. The staff is kind but my experience with two doctors were rude. One of them I could barely get a word in and was being accused of not wanting to vaccinate my kid. Which is far from the truth. I believe in vaccinating but with a spaced out schedule. When I was finally able to get a word in I was told that I was hurting my child by not vaccinating. So all of a sudden I was being accused of not vaccinating?!? No I wanted to space them out every two weeks because I believe that it’s too much to do in one appointment. Extremely disappointed and left feeling a bit traumatized from the experience all together. Not to mention you wait 2 hrs just to see a doctor when no one is even in the waiting room.

Why take appointments ? Does not matter if it is 8 am or 3 pm still wait over an hour to be seen. Every time I have been here.

I am currently 31 weeks pregnant and they are completely oblivious to the tests that they have done for me and the tests that they still need to do..they have called me a few times to cancel my appointments because there was no one here to see me, would not recommend coming here if you’re pregnant

These doctors and everyone who works there that I seen today was very nice and helpful I would return any time

People need to understand that this is a clinic for people who cant afford to go to a private doctor. They do their best, and the womens health section obviously care about their patients. I have literally never had an issue getting the help I need. On the down side, they are sometimes very busy, but thats mostly due to the fact that it is a small clinic and is underfunded. They do the very best they can, and no one should fault them for that.

I will not going back to this clinic they change all the front desk people all the time, so every one is new. When you think you know them, they change it again. I was there 1/17/2014 with fiver I was very sick. I was waiting one hour and thirty minutes, after that they called me back, asked why I was there. I could it talk that clear, because of tonsillitis ( I know my body, and this is what i had) They sent me home because they only have one Dr. Monday morning ?? After giving me a hard time, saying you dont have a establish relation ship with us. Your last visit was back on August 2013. So Do I have to have to be there every month to been seen?? That was crazy. Practically implore you, I hope whatever but do not send me home to return in the afternoon , I feel very bad, . A Haitian assistant was more condescension , and said, quiet , stop and talk to the dr . when I return , Dr. said he could not see me and I had to return in the afternoon. At that moment she asked , you wish to make an appointment for this afternoon. To which I replied: Not thanks, will not coming back here. I been coming for 10 years to this clinic and treat me like a stranger. In the lobby was only about 6 people , how can this Dr. could see one more?? .. Not having insurance is very hard, and forces you to accept crumbs of others. I went to a private Dr., I had to charged my credit card, but it was word it. I havent seeing this Dr. since 2009, when I lost my private insurance. He not only remember me, but show me the respect I need it. I left there with medicine, a vaccine for throat infection and antibiotics . This Dr. pregnant, elderly , but not afraid to work, and accept patients at any time. Thats vocation

First off I would like to start this review by stating that NOT everything in this office is wrong I would like to make it clear that my kids pediatrician DrVelasquez is an amazing doctor. My daughter has been seeing her since she was one year old and now my son is her patient as well She is extremely caring, she takes her time with my kids, she takes her time to answer all my questions and concerns I never leave the office with any questions. She always goes above and beyond to take great care of my kids. The office is always spotless, very clean and pleasant. As for her staff I wish I could say the same starting from the front office to the back office to the office manager they are all king of lost half of the time they do not know what they are doing. theres been a few times where has been a lot of confusion of procedures, how they are done when where and times. It seems like none of the staff in this office is ever on the same page and they dont document very well in these charts. I know documentation is crucial everything you speak to with a patient on the phone you have to translate into the chart and it looks like they never do that because they never know what Im talking about when I call and explain what somebody else told me. This can be very infuriating specially when it comes to the health of your children. I do have to say they are usually very nice girls it just seems they need better training and to stay constant.

Horrible place....Refill requests take days, they never call you back to tell you it was called in or that you need to come in for a visit. Wrong dates on prescriptions and they treat you like it is your fault if they make a mistake. This place treats their patients with no respect, never document all of your symptoms. Some staff do not speak very good English which makes it difficult to communicate.

I used FH Centers for 15 years. I have Chronic Pain, Fibromyalgia, Scoliosis, 3 Herniated discs, Busites, Chronic Depression, COPD, Asthma and others Medical Conditions.Three months ago, I went to get my pain medication prescriptions and they for the first time, asked me for a drug test. It was positive for Medical Marijuana.I have the card to legally buy Medical Marijuana. Everybody knew that I was using the Marijuana oil.My Dr., the manager of Bonita Springs office and the Medical Assistant that did the drug test.Few days later I received a letter saying that I wasn’t allowed to use any FH Centers never again.After 15 years, they throw me out the door like I was a garbage that they didn’t want anymore.Those people have no heart or care for their Patients. My experience with the nurses and doctors was horrible. They gave me a diagnosis without touch me or do tests. Some receptionist are very rude. My experience was horrible thats why I moved for another doctor.And one day they give a result and make me cry and then when I go to the hospital everything was good and then when I come back to them they not even apologize to me for the way that they give the result.

I am a tax paying U.S. citizen. Explain to me why I have to pay $350 just to be seen. I had to go to the E.R. for a broken foot and was referred to a podiatrist for a follow up the next day. Shocker, but I dont have healthcare and the podiatrist wanted $400 to see me. The Family health center asked if I was pregnant or on welfare and because Im not I dont qualify. What happened to the Hippocratic oath that a Dr. takes. How is it that by taking less from the system I receive even less, dispit giving more.

This is the most unorganized freaking so called doctors office in the US. Needed blood work done and there was one test they dont do but they didnt tell me that until after I got the other work done. Then sent me to quest diagnostics for the other test but they couldnt do it without a doctors order (not quests fault) but the doctor was out and no other doctor could write it!! If this was a real doctors office and I was paying cash I guarantee someone would of made it happen!!! Talk about make you feel like a second class citizen!!

I took my young daughter to Family Health Centers for severe pain in her throat. After careful and professional review it turned out she had strep throat. I couldnt believe that the doctor who I took her to first didnt see this - he only told me to give her throat lozenges! I wish all doctors were as thorough and cared as much as the staff did there. We will use Family Health as our only doctor now. Everyone should try them out!!!!!!!

Womens center, the wait is AWFUL. They schedule appointments at 1pm but no one comes back from lunch until 1:30. Then tell US to be there 15 mins early to your appointment. Why? So i can sit in this god awful chair for 45+ mins? My last appointment they marked me off as gone and forgot about me. The staff is really nice and the midwife ive been seeing i love. I just dont understand the appointments. Next time im not showing up till 1:30 thats when theyll start calling people back. No point to sit here for an hour.

The only reason I gave this place one star is because zero stars isnt an option. DO NOT COME HERE. I had an appointment scheduled for 2:30 PM I wasn’t called back until 3:40 PM (after threatening to leave) and then was told that I would have to come back another day to get blood work because the lab closes at 4pm. What the fu*k my appointment was supposed to be waaaaay before 4pm so this shouldn’t have been an issue whatsoever. Before I was even called back at 3:40 after waiting over an hour I told them that I wanted to cancel and leave and then they called me back and made comments about how they were now rushing for me and acting like they were doing me some kind of favor. Never again.

These People have no buissness in The Healthcare Field. THEY SUCK. Contacted my insurance and Filed complaint,The dr and staff rued,uncaring totally unpleaseant. SO GLAD im done with them. Cassidy is a inconsiderate and incompetent employee who would rather repeat herself than give you real answers. Didnt even make In the door and i found that this place is a septic tank of people who are driven by how much money you have. Or in my case dont have.

We had a great experience at Family Health Centers...we take our children regularly to our local office...they accept our insurance, easy in and out and we love the care our kids get with the docs and nurses they see...Thank you.

My Dr. Was very rude, never cared about my illness. She claimed she diagnosed me with something I already had. Hated going to see her every time. But I needed my rx.

The WORST place to go, litterally!! From the stupid doctor who cant diagnose a sick person (I was there for a check up!) To the bunch of ineffective, idiotic ghetto hoodrats who were supposed to help me were so damn rude to me, I litterally walked out of my appointment! I went with a private doctor instead, and it was much better and more effective than this hellhole of a place.

I wouldnt give this place 1 star..went in today for an ear infection, and told me I couldnt be seen until I gave them 319.00 upfront. I dont have that kind of money and I left in tears. These people are the most uncompassionate Ive ever seen in my life. And its supposed to be lower income??? Dont waster your time at this place!

The Dr. is nice but dont really do much to help you diagnose your problem. I have gone to see more than twice complaining about horrible joint/bone pain and she refuses to send me for more studies, she keeps making up excuses to what she believes the pain may be radiating from but does not send me any studies to try and figure out the problem. And ms e receptionist and staff are totally disorganized, they were supposed to schedule me an Endocrinologist appoitments and they made a big mess and I am still waiting on that. Lets not talk about the doctor saying my abnormal thryoid test results was due to a virus after I specifically explained to her I had Graves Disease.

Have to wait at least 30min to an hour of just to see the doctor. Doctors are slow at working. I sometime wonder if they have a doctor. Im wasting my time waiting on a doctor. There goes 30 minutes of my studie time.

This family health centers is by far the worst. Their staff is under-qualified and uneducated. They are clueless to whats going on in their own workplace. Also, this place is too filthy to be a health care facility at all. Only go here as a last resort.

Friendly but disorganized staff. Had an appointment at 2:30. Got to the place at 2:25 and it took them an hour just to get take my blood pressure and weight then I had to sit in a room for another hour and a half just to see a doctor. End up leaving the place at 4:45...

They never answer the phone

No one ever answers the phone i had 8 root canals done on my front top teeth only for the crowns to fall out and when i called there was no answer i tried to call over 20 times

Whenever I go they take care of me very well, until now I feel very comfortable. I hope they never change their good treatment and form, the doctor who treated me was very good. Thank you for all your support.
