The staff have been nothing short of amazing. My mother’s caregiver treats her like family. Doing everything she can to make mom continue to be as independent as she can be. The caregiver,Viviana Kraus, has been a godsend.

Home Instead was very accommodating when we needed an aide to help Mom with her rehabilitation.They were able to provide an excellent caregiver that encouraged mom to push herself and took care of every need very professionally. Their employee was wonderful and well liked by my mom!

Home Instead of Ft. Myers took care of my Mom for over a year, during which time she moved from her home into assisted living, and then her husband of 56 years passed away. Home Instead was an incredible blessing to us during this time - communications from the office were always excellent, caregivers were empathetic and worked well with Mom, and the online system was a great way to keep track of everything from a distance. I am very grateful for the support. If we were not moving out of state, we would definitely be continuing to use Home instead.

The caregivers of Home instead senior care were wonderful with my father. He was very hard of hearing, very unsteady on his feet, would get up and walk without his walker, had dementia, and could be difficult at times. The caregivers were patient with him. They kept him active. They were always engaging him in conversation and showing family pictures to help him remember. They took him out of his room in the nursing home as much as possible. This was during the covid isolation, so everyone was doing the best they could to get him up and about. The Home instead staff made his quality of life 100 percent better than if he would have been in the nursing home by himself, especially since my family was unable to visit him. The nursing home staff was stretched thin because so many residents needed frequent attention, and no family could come and visit. The Home Instead caregivers were able to be with my father, and take excellent care of him, during a time when we needed it most.

It’s good to know that after official retirement you can still utilize your gifts and talents in an important and rewarding way. Having worked for Home Instead nearly four years has been a wonderful experience. The staff are compassionate and caring about their clients, client families and care givers. And my past and present clients are all amazing!

The staff at Home Instead are always helpful and accommodating. They are willing to answer any questions. We are also very happy with the caregivers who assist our loved ones. Since we do not live in the same town, it gives our family peace of mind to know their needs are being addressed. The attention and companionship are priceless.

From day one Jennie Lee and I hit it off and have had many Wednesdays of fun! We both look forward to our Wednesdays. Home Instead staff have always been polite and helpful without any hassle. Im very pleased!!!

We have had the same wonderful caregiver for three winters while in Florida . She does light housekeeping to free my time for other things that Ive had to take over since my husband was diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment. But she is also a good listener, supportive and encouraging when I need someone to talk to and her uplifting spirit is contagious. Both my husband and I consider her a very dependable friend, and she has never let us down.

I am so thankful to have found Home Instead Sr. Care-Ft. Myers to provide a caregiver for my mother! They are kind, professional & willing to work with me from across the country to provide excellent care for Mom. I was able to discuss my concerns & Moms needs over the phone and set up meetings for during my visit to FL. Since 10/1/18 things have run very smoothly: management has thoughtfully kept me current on Moms situation - something very important when worrying about your Loved One in FL when living in CA. The caregiver is a wonderful person and really cares about Mom; we communicate directly, if needed. The office staff has been prompt and efficient. The only disappointment I have is that I used another company too long before I found the much higher quality of care provided by Home Instead Sr. Care of Ft. Myers!

My father friend complained to me that they while he was in thier care was neglected and verbally abused by a home aid aswell as by a person in the office when he called to complain. Very disappointed in the service performed here. And sorry that there are people like that in this career who act in this disgusting manner.

My mother has been with home instead for over 3 years and I cant say enough good things. They are very caring about my mother and her needs and found a wonderful caregiver by the name of Linda who is my mothers angel, she cares for mom weekdays 40 hours per week and on weekends I have another angel name Nefertiti, I understand that it is a very difficult task for the office people to find the right match for the client but Shavon and courtney at the office never let us down. They go above and beyond to make sure their client is well taken care of. Unfortunately I cant say the same about any other agency that I used in the past.. Ive worked with Home Instead Senior care as a caregiver for almost 5 years I found them to be a family oriented employment who cares for their client as well as their workers they make sure that caregiver and the client are compatible so that the client get the best of care . The staff and owner treat their employee as family and that makes a great different and give you a desire to work. I couldnt ask for a better place to work.

We began services for my Father out at the end of Captiva Fall/Winter 2016, suspended services over the Summer because my parents were SnowBirds, then resumed again Fall/Winter 2017 with 24 hour care, 7 days a week. The caring and compassionate Caregivers that have been a part of our Dream Team are some of the best women on earth. My Father enjoys their care, he feels safe, clean, cared for - he trusts them. And my mom enjoys their presence as well. The coordinator/scheduler, Shavon is the best of the best!! We have an intricate case, and her high level of attention to detail, listening skills and communication skills are truly the BEST I have experienced....and I have dealt with over 8 agencies. So far, Shavon and Home Instead have succeeded where most others have failed.
