I visited Johnson Eyecare for a routine eye exam and could not be more satisfied with my experience.The Ft Myers office was so clean, the staff was friendly, and there was a great selection of prescription eye glasses & sunglasses. Plenty of styles to choose from and very competitive prices.I would highly recommend this optometrist for anyone in the Cape Coral & Ft Myers area. Dr. Johnson is great, & easy on the eyes (no pun intended).

I was referred to Johnson Eye Care by Dr. Malkani and I couldnt be happier. I got my first pair of progressive glasses and the whole process and Dr. Johnson were very good. Highly recommend.

The receptionist was pleasant. I did not wait long and was in at my appointment time. The doctor was thorough and answered all my questions. She explained my diagnosis and told me my options. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

I was able to find an appointment the same day, they checked my insurance and schefuled me.right away. Filed the final.papers online which i like before going in. The place smelled.grrat and was welcoming so was the staff. I only didnt find a wide variety of frames to chose from but what they have is ok and affordable. This why they get a 4 & half not 5 stars. I will definitely recommend Dr Johnson to anyone.

I have not had an eye exam in decades. It was interesting to see how the technology has improved.As a patient, my recent exam was the best health related experience that I have had. A nice up-to-date facility, courteous and professional staff.A great boutique of frames and lenses - but no high pressure selling.Dr. Johnson explains each step of the exam process in a way that is easily understood and not at all condescending.A wonderful experience.

I can’t say enough great things about my experience at Johnson Eye Care. Setting up an appointment was easy. Dr. Johnson is very knowledgeable and guided me through the entire process of getting glasses for the first time at the age of 46. They have a wide selection of frames to choose from. I ended up getting a pair of “Draper James” frames with progressive lenses. I don’t look quite as cute as Reese Witherspoon does in them, but not bad! The office is beautiful and I was very pleased with the personalized service I received. This place is not a factory. Highly recommend!!!

UPDATE: Have consistently received excellent and thorough care from Dr. Johnson. Dr Johnson is a true professional! Her services also include an optician Liliana, who is very patient and takes her time to get your glasses adjusted just right. The associates who work here are very helpful and professional. Overall great experience in the office. It was nice that Sara came out and helped me pick out my glasses. I’ve been to years of eye appointments and usually no one takes the time to help. They answered all my questions and helped me in every way they could. Absolutely superb! I havent been to the eye doctor in about 5 years, so when I decided to finally take the plunge to go in for a check up, I chose Sarah and Johnson Eyecare. Not only is Sarah the absolute sweetest, but she is extremely knowledgeable, has state of the art equipment, is very thorough, and makes the whole process quick and painless. We made some jokes, had some laughs, and I felt so comfortable wit her. Not to mention.... I have been avoiding getting glasses and just stuck with contacts because I hate the way I look in glasses. Her selection is huge, and her knowledge of brands is so impressive, I ended up finding my perfect first pair of glasses, and I LOVE THEM! I also have to give a thumbs up to Magda who gives the place an incredible first impression. Wouldnt recommend anyone but Johnson Eyecare!

I’ve worn glasses/contacts for 25 years and can tell you that Dr. Johnson is the real deal! She saw both myself and my 5 year old daughter in which she was patient with and explained the exam process for her to understand. Magda the receptionist was so nice and informative with my insurance coverage as well. I wasn’t in the market to purchase new glasses but I spent a good 30 minutes trying on all the fabulous frames they carry. Without a doubt, make your next appointment at Johnson Eyecare!

Dr Sarah Johnson has been taking care of my eyes for several years. She is always professional and when you have had an exam from Dr. Johnson you know that you had a thorough exam and she truly cares about her patients. This is not always the experience these days with medicine.........I am confident that she will give me advice that I can trust and she has my best interests in mind. Her office is very clean and modern, she truly cares and takes her time with everyone.

I would not go to this business. I had originally made an appt, showed up and no one was there! I called them back-decided to give a second chance. I then made another appt. When they called to confirm, they had the date wrong! If you cant even make the appointment correctly, I do not think I will trust our eyesight with them.

Wonderful experience. My wife has dementia and I was very concerned about having her eyes checked as she is not able to communicate what she sees. Dr. Johnson assured us that she had the necessary technical equipment to provide an accurate Prescription. I am very pleased with my experience with Dr. Sarah Johnson. She is very caring and thorough. She explained everything so that the average person can understand each procedure that needed to be done.

Excellent experience and a great staff! I was seen on-time, the examination was thorough and un-rushed, and that attitude on great one-on-one service extended to the eyeglass fitting, and paperwork. Truly a great experience. The extra time I invested driving across town was more than made up for in the process and quality of care.

So......I broke the frames of my glasses while in Fort Myers. I was long overdue for an exam and new prescription but was trying to wait to get back to my up north doc. I found some eye practices by online search and started making calls. Kind of one uninspiring performance after another until I called Dr Johnsons practice. I asked to speak to someone from their optical department and got the Doctor, herself. Super nice! I had an appointment a day later. A careful and thorough exam ( Im a doc - I know thorough) and a very pleasant fitting for glasses. A week later -> new glasses. Overall, a perfect experience!

I just had an eye appointment with Dr. Johnson, and I’ve got to say that when it comes to making her patients feel comfortable and helping them to understand their eyes, Dr. Johnson does an amazing job. I tend to be a fairly anxious person regarding my health, and she answered all of my questions making sure that I felt good about my eyes by the end of my visit. I will definitely be returning here for my annual eye exams.

The dr is very friendly and very thorough! She has a wonderful way of dealing with patients, both young and older. My teenage daughter and I just got glasses from another dr in September but were having issues with them. Dr. Johnson gladly rechecked our eyes and did a way more thorough exam than the other dr. She found that both of our prescriptions were wrong and fixed it for us. We had a wonderful experience and will continue to go to her and refer her to friends and family.
