Dr. Patel and Dr. Luo make an amazing team. We travel out of our way to see them as they make our experience pleasant instead of frightening. The ladies of the office are all professional and gentle. I highly recommend you try them you will not be disappointed. Thanks to all.

Today (6/17/21) my husband Steve and I had our 6 month teeth cleaning appointments. My dental hygienist was Teresa. SHE WAS AWESOME!! Very personable and professional!! Gave me some great tips with brushing!! Steve had Heather. He stated she was very nice and gentle...and very thorough!! We both were examined by Dr. Patel. WOW!! Great guy and DENTIST!! Both Steve and I HIGHLY recommend Gulf Shore Dental! A+++++ See you in 6 months!! :)

I visited Dr. Patel because my crown had come off. Rather than just glue it back on, he took the time to examine the tooth and investigate the long time pain in this tooth. He immediately formed a treatment plan and very quickly a root canal was done.I appreciate the extra care to insure the procedure was as painless as possible. He (and his staff) took the time to ensure the job was done with care to ensure a long term success of the tooth.Patel and his staff were professional, experienced, and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Nirav Patel at Gulfshore Dental located in the Veranda shopping center.

This may be an isolated incident, or it may be this offices normal procedure, Im not sure because it was my First appointment. I arrived on time, after waiting an HOUR, a young lady finally came to take me back to a room. I asked her, in a nice way, let me ask you something, if I came for my appointment an hour late, what would you do? The Dentist came around the corner and Shouted at me, do you want us to see you or not! Well, at that point, and with his attitude, my obvious answer was NO!! I LEFT, and would never go back to such an unprofessional office.

I made an appointment at Gulfshore Dental Fort Myers, FL. Hwy. 80 for their New Patient $99 special. I was impressed... Full panoramic X-rays, Cleaning, Flossing, and Exam.. And all for the $99.00.... They did NOT try to up sell me with special treatments , extras or unneeded procedures. The technicians, staff, and the doctor were all very professional and prompt.. I am 63 years old and normally told elsewhere that I need special gum treatments or procedures...Not here...A great experience !! And I was charged.....$99.00My wife is making her appointment later today. !!Great Job Gulfshore Dental !!Dan G

Super nice people, and I thought good care. I was told I needed a crown with an estimated cost of $1745. A friend referred me to another dentist who was much cheaper. He looked at the x-rays over and over and said he saw no reason for a crown. Their prices are high

I Transfed from my dentist up north and it was a scary proposition but Dr Patel and his efficient capable staff made the transfer easy. The entire office is up beat, modern and so well managed. I’ve had quite varied dental adventures at Gulfshore from a cleaning to a crown and I’ve been most pleased with each procedure. Dr. Patel is sincere and professional but the general feeling of agony when having to visit the dentist is NOT part of visiting Gulfshore Dental!

Dr Lou and his staff are very profession and friendly. They are very comforting on every visit and if a problem arises they are very quick to get you in. Dr Lou has a great demeanor and is very gentle when working on your teeth and making sure at all times you are not feeling any pain or discomfort. Everyone deserves a great experience when visiting the dentist and they are just the staff to do it. I highly recommend them!

I am from out of town and developed a cavity deep in my tooth. On the first visit they elevated the pain and started a four root canal procedure.After completing that, they prepared and installed a crown. The results are comfortable with no pain anytime during the four visits it took to do this work. The assistants were efficient and pleasant. This is the best dentist office I have ever used. Dr David Luo was my dentist.

I have been having my dental work done by Dr. Patel and his staff since 2011. I cannot tell you how great they are. The front office is inviting and comfortable, the staff are caring, friendly and know me by name, and Dr. Patel is an incredible dentist. I have never felt embarrassed or uncomfortable while under his care. For a fantastic dental experience, I cannot recommend Dr. Patel and Gulfshore Dental enough.

Have been going there for about 5 or 6 years. I call every Jan to make sure they accept insurance as ppo. This year is the first time i had major work done, crown. Before that appt i asked again and the answer was yes. In the chair in office, they said my portion of bill after insurance would be $1000. Never said this is estimate. They pushed to get started on work that day. Never gave any indication the bill was going to be extremely different. Went back second time, paid in full. She said she would send me a statement stating 0 balance. I got a bill for $700. They stated they underestimated insurance.Year before went in for filling. They wanted to fill a tooth that had no cavity! Mistakes can happen but the second experience was too much to go back to that office. Be aware of their practices and charges.

I was nervous before my appointment with Dr. Patel. But he and his staff went out of their way to put my anxiety at ease. I didn’t have to wait to be seen, the office was very clean, and everyone was super friendly and professional. I highly recommend Gulfshore dental. Especially if you have “dental anxiety “

The team here is great! They take the time to explain to you all the procedures and why they are doing it. I came for a second opinion on about $4000 worth of work which freaked me out because I didnt understand why. After leaving here, they made sure to assure me that the other procedures that were recommended there, (bone grafts included), were very much overboard and I just needed to get a cleaning and replace a filling. Ive had some issues with my mouth since my wisdom teeth came in on top of my molars causing spacing issues and such. Dr. Patel spent time with me answering my questions and the hygienists were very patient with my sensitive mouth. I highly recommend them!!

* my visit was in 2017* I went to this dentist for a second opinion, and went here as a recommendation from a friend. I needed full mouth rehab, after chemo. I got a appointment quickly so that was good. The office staff was rather busy, not very friendly. Dr Patel seen me and saw I had an abscess, he didn’t give me time to explain my prior issues, and chemo, and went straight for “ using recreational drugs can cause this type of deterioration, ...” I was stunned, offended, and embarrassed. I explained to him that I never used drugs, and as I tried to explain he talked over me. I was so upset I let him continue to pry around my mouth, I was handed a estimate of over 30k ( twice the amount of my normal dentist).His whole time talking over me, and said twice about drug use, ridiculous priced, and rude. He has two practices for good reason, he thinks he knows how to sell and probably takes advantage of people. My friend that refereed me told me she had to seek another dentist after his recent procedure. She too will be leaving a review to warn others about these doctors gone wild. Patients are not a ticket to pay off your mortgage; have some ethics and morals.

Penalized for having insurance / bait and switch?On January 29,2018 we came into Gulfshore Dental as new patients for the $99 New Patient Offer.(Exam, X-Rays and Cleaning) which is why we chose this practice.We registered and presented our coupon and insurance. We were told great, you will have no payment due today.We were completely satisfied with our services on this day.My husband came back for a filling on 4/18/18 and paid $95 on this day for his patient portion.The end of July I received two statements from Gulf Shore Dental stating our total due for both dates of service of $174.80. $24.80 for my husbands filling that insurance did not pay as they anticipated which I totally understand and mailed a check out to pay. The remaining $150, $75 each from our initial visit on 1/29/18 is why I am writing.So my complaint is we were never told we could not use the New Patient Offer, we were told we would have no payment for services on initial visit. GSD received $710 for our services on that initial visit a total of $512 more if we would have paid out of pocket not having insurance.Are we really being penalized for having insurance? I find this as incredibly bad business.After several attempts to resolve this with the office staff including office manager I feel this review is now needed to make others aware of their business practices.

Bait and switch complaints are true! Watch out bad business practice and shady false advertising!! I called and I was told they were having an initial consultation special for $50.00. I prepaid in full and went in see the dentist. He performed no work, checked out before leaving and then received a bill in the mail months later. When I called I was told the girl made an error and I now owe $96.00 more!! Now its turned over to collections and I have sent copies of cancelled check and Paid in Full bill. If they rip you off before you even become a patient imagine what they are doing once you are! BEWARE AND STAY AWAY!!

I went in for an extraction of my wisdom tooth. Im deathly afraid of needles being in my mouth I told Dr. Patel i was afraid he did everything in his power so i wouldnt feel any pain while injecting the anesthetic and I didnt. I felt the pressure of one prick and thats it and it was smooth sailing from there I never even saw the needle! I love this place!!
