The Pantry of Broward is wonderful. The staff are very helpful and welcoming and my monthly food box always has some cool surprises to go with the typical stuff. Theres frozen meat and fresh veggies, a couple of choose-your-own shelves, and plenty of canned food.I am so grateful for the generosity of those who care about others.

The Pantry of Broward has been a wonderful organization to volunteer and work with. I am thrilled to now be officially apart of their team as they serve seniors and grandfamiles across Broward County. Ensuring some of the most vulnerable populations receive monthly food boxes, housing assistance and so much more!

The Pantry is much more than a food pantry, it is a help to the community to connect to different services which you may never have known about. Daniel is a warm,caring, compassionate person who works for the benefit of his clients. Everyone there is wonderful. A really caring group of people dedicated to you!. It is located in the heart of downtown Ft.Lauderdale , located directly next to the Ft. Lauderdale water tower on N.W.3d St. It may take a minute to find but worth your patience.

I filled out an application to volunteer and they emailed me and I asked when to come in and they never responded.

Theyre very polite, courtesy, friendly and respectful. Ill tell my family and friends. And my coworkers.

They need food its slowing down.

I called to ask about making a donation. They didnt take the item that I was donating (it was formula and they work with seniors mostly, which I didnt realize), but the woman who answered referred me to a place that will take it. She was very helpful and Ill keep them in mind for appropriate donations in the future.

This lady that was sharing out food was highly selfish with the items that was given to the organization to be distributed, she hid items and said that shes going to pass them out next week when asked by other volunteers.

I sat with Maureen E. Luna, the CEO at The Pantry, and I was floored by the immense positive impact they make on the Sistrunk community. Over 600 clients are fed monthly. Each one is assigned a case manager to help with overall health concerns and given a 55lb box of food to hopefully feed them for 30 days. I think this organization is great. I recommend you to take the tour with Maureen and sit down with her to hear the mission and vision of The Pantry.

I have been a client for a few years with wonderful service. I am now homebound and receive food delivery. I have never been treated so poorly as I have with the new management. I have to call every month to request food. No longer scheduled dates. I have calledevery day since last week telling them I have no food. Manager Michelle says nothing she can do it is up to warehouse person. So I have now been here waiting since what used to be my usual delivery date of the 6th and no one seems to care.

Super helpful here! When we couldnt get any help or info they came through for us. Even when they said their pantry was closed. They still went outta their way and helped us. Thank you guys so much!

All the people I have met there are very kind and willing to help. They are God sent for me an elderly person on very low income. This is one of my blessings!!!

I live in Tampa, I myself been volunteering for my ministry for 6 years with our Pastors n also cook for the homeless every Sundays the food pantry is open Monday thru Friday n reading some of these reviews about people coming in telling some of the volunteers that they havent eating in days n the volunteers laughing in there face its terrible n heart breaking were here to do Gods work I cant imagine going to bed knowingt hat I turned someone going hungry out in the streets. We would never ever turned anyone away even after closing people still come to look for food n we always put a box together so sad

I was in and out. fast and easy! Had to recert .Marie is always courteous and nice.

I drive my old neighbor here once a month, these folks are a real blessing to him and or community

I walked from commercial to get food and they refused me. I told her that I hadnt eaten in four days. She laughed and said sorry I cant help you. Its ok because one day, Jesus will say sheep to my Right and goats to my left and I pray that he will be merciful to you, unlike the service I received on this day. God bless you

Great place to get help with food if you are over 60 years old on a fix income, or being a grandparent raising your grandchild (grandchildren).
