Great dentist and hygienist.But beware of the manager , he is ridiculous.He took me to collections during the Covid Lockdown, I had no way to pay them since they were closed and found out later, my bill was being sent to my old address that I lived at 11 years before. I had been a great customer and paid them on time always. If you go here make sure you pay in full every time and god help you if there is a pandemic lock down. Better find a way to get your payment in

Had a crown put in on lower left molar. The area had been hurting a lot for a while, so getting it fixed was a good thing. Dr. Cunningham did a great job and that gum area is now pain free and flosses much more easily.

Im a snowbird from NYC. Oakland Park Dental had provided my care for over a decade when I am here in season. I have had a wide variety of dental needs over the years. Dr. Cunningham is highly skilled in performing numerous types of dental procedures. There have been instances where he saved me from having to see a specialist by doing the work himself, and very effectively (ex: root canal). He firmly backs up the quality of his work if a problem arises. I had a crown cement failure problem when I was back in NYC, and Dr. Cunningham consulted with my NYC dentist who then made the repair without charging me a fee. Because he consults and coordinates with my dental care providers in NYC when needed, my comprehensive care is better facilitated (ex: reduces the amount of redundant x-rays that I am exposed to). He also sources and coordinates well with highly qualified local specialists (ex: oral surgeon, etc.) when needed. His dental hygienists are also very meticulous. Most office staff is generally good, although I have had a couple of situations where someone needed an attitude adjustment, so I simply adjusted it. The most important factor is that Dr. Cunningham genuinely cares about his patients and their well being.

Even a dentist visit can be enjoyable, Dr Cunningham and the super friendly and competent team did a great job.

Dr. Cunningham at Oakland Park Dental is one of the best Dentists I have ever met! His office is always on time very rarely do you have to wait in the waiting room, and thats a plus! Beautiful clean office with very calming Decour. Hes a very conservative doctor, if its not broken dont fix it type of attitude. he doesnt look for extra work to do he only does what needs to be done. I highly recommend this office.

I have been going to Oakland Park Dental since I moved to Fort Lauderdale. The office staff is professional and so friendly. Its like visiting friends. The technicians are quite knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely professional. Dr. Cunningham is one of the rare dentists who genuinely cares for his patients as well as being one of the best I have experienced. I cant rate Oakland Park Dental high enough.

Stay away. Weird organization.When making my appointment i was informed that no treatment or cleaning can be done on the day of the first visit.(which is totally weird because normally you can get at least a cleaning on the day of exam) but I still made an appointment.So I had a 9am appointment and showed up at 8:50am only to be told that I was too late (!!!) and they won’t take me because I’m late (remind you, I showed up 10 min early). Very unprofessional and completely unreasonable. Lots of better and more accommodating dental offices in the area.

Its comforting using a dental office I can totally rely on. Dr. Howard Cunningham is caring, intelligent and an expert in his field. He is also a dental artist so I leave his office looking and feeling better than when I came in! I have been amazed by my results more than once. Dr. Cunninghams Dental Assistants, Victor and Mary, are so well trained that it seems they read the dentists mind as work progresses. And they are equally friendly...I actually forget I am sitting in the dentist chair! My visit to Oakland Park Dentals Hygienist, Alvira, was the most pleasant deep cleaning experience Ive ever had. She was gentle, efficient and funny and she shared her advice on good dental care. Rounding out the team I met is Oakland Park Dentals front office staff. No doctor or dentists office can exist to their patients satisfaction without having a solid and cordial front office team. Ung and Terri are top notch! In my experience, they knew me and each patient as we entered the artistically decorated office and I was greeted with a smile. They are extremely knowledgeable on the plans of my dental insurance company, making it easy to correctly submit claim forms on my behalf.When checking out and making my follow-up appointments, Ung and Terri are very accommodating and helpful.I recommend Oakland Park Dental to my family and friends all the time. Absolutely the worst place I have ever been to, and the employees were so rude especially Jason. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Wish we could rate no stars as they dont even deserve one... be aware!

Terrible customer service by the receptionist. Very rude. Called me with a bad attitude because he made a mistake and did not charge my insurance company. Told me very rudely that I had a week to pay the bill or he was sending me to collections. I told him that i will contact my insurance company and have them submit payment. He said there is no time, either send it in a week or it goes to collections. This was the first phone call to me about this. Stay Away!

Either discriminatory or incompetent. Office staff told me that they could not verify my insurance and cancelled my appointment. I confirmed my insurance in less than 5 minutes.
