I saw Dr. Hansen for sciatica and low back pain that I had been experiencing. My husband had excellent results with him and insisted I see his chiropractor to see if he could help me get relief. When I got in to see him he stated off by taking a history of my complaint and then did a very thorough examination. The first day he started using a soft tissue technique that is like a really deep massage. I could definitely feel what he was working on. It was slightly painful, but the good kind of pain if you know what I mean. On my next visit he explained everything to me from the examination and we began treatment. He uses spinal manipulation and also helps do stretches that give even more relief. He is a hands-on physician that really wants his patients to get better. We continued treatment over the course of a month or so and each time I got progressively better. The results were lasting and I am able to make appointments any time I feel a flare-up, which really has not been many. He did an excellent job in my treatment and if you need a Fort Lauderdale Chiropractor, I definitely recommend Dr. Hansen.

I remembered meeting Dr. Hansen a few months prior when he came to meet with an attorney in an injury law firm I worked at the time. He impressed me with his sincerity and genuine way about him.I decided to make an appointment to see if he could help me with my low back pain. It was so bad at times that it hurt to drive from Pompano Beach to West Palm. Dr. Hansen was able to get me at a time that worked well for me and he worked with me doing physical therapy exercises, deep tissue work and spinal manipulation. I never believed in chiropractors until I started going to see Dr. Hansen after my car accident. His practice is very accommodating. He stays open late, opens on Saturdays, and always makes time for last minute appointments. His understanding and knowledgeable outlook makes me know that he genuinely wants me to feel better. This is an Amazing doctor who actually cares!! Dr. Hansen was sincerely focused on getting me better and is probably the most thorough doctor of any that I have ever been to; he really knows his stuff. He did personal injury care with me for whiplash treatment and explained all the physical rehabilitation he did and it was all hands on. Ive been to other places where they put you on machines and tables for neck pain and back pain; Im happy that that is not what happened there. I am Douglas Robertson and my experience with Dr Hanson was awesome. He is the Man when it comes to chiropractors in that area. I could barely walk when I walked into his facility and I could run when I left. Went from a 10 to 0 on the pain scale. My name is Randell, I am 20 years old, and have been Skateboarding for 10 years. I started have back problems when i was 16, and have been through chiropractor after chiropractor. All of which would crack my back and send me on my way saying come back when it hurts! I saw Dr. Hansen and the first thing he asked me was Do you want to come back here over and over, or do you want to see me a few times and actually get better? I said i want to get better of course! I began working with Dr. Hansen, He would realign my back and also would work through the muscles that reach from my spine to my shoulderblades, as they were very tight and knotted. March 2014 - I was on vacation with my family in Fort Lauderdale in at the time of my back pain. It is certainly never fun to experience any kind of back pain, but especially when on vacation. I had looked up several chiropractors in the vicinity of where we were staying at the time and most of them could not see me on the spot. November 18, 2014I would like to share a few comments regarding my experience with the Broward Spine and Injury Center located at 3020 East Commercial Blvd, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida, specifically regarding Dr Eric Hanson and his staff. I had injured my back while on vacation and was hesitant about trying to find a doctor I felt comfortable with to deal with my injury. On the initial visit my fears were alleviated almost immediately. Dr Hanson spent time with me explaining the different techniques and procedures that would be used to treat my injury, all in layman terms. I saw Dr. Hansen after I had been hurt in a car accident. I had an injury to my head and neck that caused headaches as well as pain into my back. After the crash I went to the hospital emergency room and then found Dr. Hansen’s office. I set up an appointment for a consultation and we did my chiropractic examination the same day. His evaluation was very thorough and detailed, much more so than any I had before. He treated my head, neck, shoulder and back pain from my accident injury and I’m proud to call him my chiropractor! I definitely recommend him to anyone in Ft Lauderdale who needs treatment for pain or injury.When I saw Dr. Hansen the second time it was for a pretty scary condition. I had a pain in my leg during the night that caused me to sit up quickly. I didn’t notice injury immediately, but after I got up I noticed I could not lift my foot off the ground. I waited a few days and it still wasn’t getting any better. I set up an appointment with Dr. Hansen to have it checked out. After doing a variety of tests it was determined I had “drop foot” which can be caused by impingement on a low back nerve root from a disc herniation or an injury to a nerve going down the back of my leg. He explained that there are other causes, but they did not fit my clinical picture.He treated me using ultrasound and physical therapy along with chiropractic adjustments. He had me working specific exercises to try to get my function back. It took around two weeks for me to get near full function back. I am thankful, very thankful for Dr. Hansen’s help and recommend him in my strongest possible terms. If you need an excellent Fort Lauderdale Chiropractor, look no further!

Dr. Hanson is the best chiropractor I have ever been to! He has been very personal with my injury helping me every step of the way. I have never felt so comfortable and welcome in any type of clinic before like I have at Dr. Hansons. Dr. Eric saw me on a Sunday I had a massive pain in my lower back from an exercise accident, I came in with pain at a level 10 on Sunday and in exactly 6 days my pain was cut In half, I went four times within that 6days! He really cares about you seems very genuine and got me back to work within one week. Also has good prices for non-insured patients.

Dr. Hansen saved my back! On a Sunday! Broward Spine and Injury Center was the ONLY Chiropractor that offered Sunday emergency service from Fort Lauderdale to Miami. I was in so much pain, that I would of been forced to go to the emergency room, and pay ridiculous fees, and listen to questionable remedies. I found Dr. Hansen shortly after I moved to Ft. Lauderdale. I was searching for a chiropractor to treat my neck pain and headaches. Getting an appointment was smooth and his office took care of all the insurance. I have been to other chiropractors but what made him different is the time he spent with me to understand my pain and the time he spent taking care of it. He used gentle chiropractic adjustments and also did muscle work to help stop the spasms I was having. I was very happy with my treatment in his Ft. Awesome Fort Lauderdale Chiropractor! I have been to several chiropractors in my life, but Dr. Hansen is definitely the BEST chiropractor I have seen! He is a Palmer graduate from Davenport, Iowa – a little something I have always found common in the best chiropractors I have been to. I went to him for low back pain and he rocked it and helped me a ton with my back pain! Since then I have seen him for neck pain, wrist pain, tennis elbow, hip pain, knee pain...you name it! His chiropractic adjustments were just right (if you’ve been to a chiropractor before you will know what I mean; if you haven’t let’s just say some chiropractors can’t adjust very well, some are better than others and Dr. H is on the awesome end). He also does chiropractic extremity adjustments which also helped a lot.He also took time to do stretches with me and show me if I needed to make any corrections on the way I was doing them to get the most benefit. He does an awesome soft tissue technique called Graston. It took about 5-7 sessions, but let me tell you - I haven’t experienced anything like it. It’s like a really deep tissue massage except the results have lasted! (I paid cash for Graston because my insurance didn’t cover it, but I would not hesitate to do it again.) Graston combined with the physical therapy and the chiropractic spinal manipulation – WOW! If you are looking for a Top Notch Chiropractor in Fort Lauderdale, look no further!

After a car accident (that seemed minor at the time) my neck got so stiff I could barely move it. I could not turn my head right or left or look down to the left or right without pain. I went the typical route and started physical therapy through my Orthopedic. After several weeks and the neck pain and stiffness getting worse rather than better, I began seeking alternative treatment. I had heard about Graston as a viable option and went on a quest looking for a Chiropractor that offered this technique. I found Dr. Hanson on the internet and placed a call to his office - expecting to get an appointment a week or two out. To my surprise, Dr. Hanson himself answered the call - and I am sooo grateful he did! (his office assistant was stuck in Chicago due to a snow storm) I explained my situation and requested a consultation. He must have heard the desperation in my voice because He said, I can see you today if you are able, can you be here at 12:30? I went in to see him (during HIS lunch hour) Along the course of my treatment with the Ortho, it was discovered through an MRI that I had a lesion in my c6/c7 and into T1. Dr. Hanson broke out the books and sat with me and helped me understand what was going on in my neck. He even went so far as to send my MRI and Xrays to Iowa to be be reviewed. After speaking to him about all my aches and pains since The accident, and after thoroughly going over my history, he did Graston and an adjustment. I scheduled two more visits that week and three for the following week. after the first TWO treatments, I was so surprised that I could actually turn my head and move my neck around! My biggest concern was NOT losing mobility as my Ortho had already suggested that I may need surgery to fuse my neck! and with just two treatments he had restored much of the movement! The time and efforts Dr. Hanson has gone through to ensure I am as informed as possible about my situation is a testament to the care he has for each of his patients. Dr. Hansons demeanor is friendly, honest and knowledgeable. He makes you feel like a person and speaks to you like a friend youve known for years.
