Dr. Atkins and his assistant are top notch. We went in for a procedure for my son. Came in not really knowing what to expect and understandably a little nervous. Dr. Atkins explained everything thoroughly and made sure my son and I were informed and comfortable along the way. I was extremely impressed with the whole experience. Dr. Atkins and his assistant were such a joy to work with. We had lots of laughs and left there very happy to have the procedure done and to have had such great care. Thank you!!

I have had a positive experience with Dr. Anderson so far! I breathed such a huge sigh of relief when I walked out of his office. After being told that I would have to have a surgery to remove joints in my foot I was disappointed knowing I would lose movement and balance as a result. Seeking a second opinion, I went to Anderson podiatry. Now I know that my joints can be salvaged and cartilage can grow back. Dr. Anderson is also addressing other nerve issues in my hips, knees and leg muscles. No other doctor has taken this very seriously in spite of constant pain and numbness. Im excited to see the results of the treatment I am receiving at Anderson Podiatry. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment, especially if you are facing the possibility of surgery on the feet or legs.

I had a painful problem that I had put off and needed to be addressed. I was able to get into Anderson podiatry very quickly. I found the staff, as well as Dr. Anderson, to be extremely helpful and friendly, which really put me at ease. After speaking with Dr. Anderson, he did not prod around the injury, as I feared. The problem area was immediately and almost painlessly numbed. I felt no pain during the procedure and very little afterwards, even after the numbness wore off. I couldnt be happier with my experience.

I have only really great things to say about Anderson Podiatry Center. A few weeks ago, I started to have pain due to an in-grown toenail. The pain become so unbearable it was making me nauseous. On Monday morning I found Dr. Anderson via a google search. I called the office and talked to Jen. Asked if there was anyway I could get an appointment that morning. She was able to fit me in that morning. Once Dr. Anderson and his staff saw my issue, they right away did a procedure to remove the in-grown toenail and alleviate all my pain. From the front desk, nursing staff to Dr. Anderson himself, I owe them many thanks for taking such good care of me. I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of a podiatrist as they were very accomodating to my needs and they have a wonderful bedside manner.

I was suffering from Morton’s neuroma for the last several years and finally made an appointment to see Dr. Anderson. My immediate thought was that I needed surgery but I liked the fact that he felt we should look at non-surgical ways to remedy the pain I was experiencing. Orthotics didn’t help as much as we hoped so the decision for surgery was eventually made. I’m at two months post op and very happy with the results. Dr. Anderson performed a neuroma decompression and after a few weeks I am taking long walks, wearing shoes that were too uncomfortable before and back doing all my previous activities PAIN FREE. Very happy I took the step and went to Anderson podiatry.

One of the most pleasant, knowledgeable, and caring doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Dr. Anderson explained everything in vivid detail and not once did I feel pressured or rushed. Frankly, I was stunned by the amount of one-on-one time I had with him. After each procedure he called me and followed up with me, unlike other doctors I have had who are happy to have you out the door, move on to the next patient, and dont want to hear from you again until your next office visit. The surgery has been a resounding success and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. I travelled from Louisville to FC and stayed out there for 15 days for the operation. For the first time in 40 years I finally have relief from RLS. I couldnt be happier and my wife is even happier! I strongly endorse Dr. Anderson and I encourage anyone who suffers from RLS to give him a call. It is certainly worth exploring to see if it is right for you- it certainly was right for me.

I felt pressured into purchasing cash-based services for plantar fasciitis during my initial appointment with Dr. Anderson. I am supportive of alternative treatments, as long as they are evidence based and effective. Unfortunately, four weeks and nearly $2,000 later and I had almost no improvement in my symptoms. I received conflicting messages from Dr. Anderson when I asked about what activities I should or should not do in order to aid in the healing process. This made it seem as if he had not even looked at my file when I came in for a follow-up appointment. Additionally, my insurance was billed $275 for an ultrasound on each of my feet. I was only experiencing symptoms on one foot, therefore, imaging the other foot was not medically necessary. Finally, I have been requesting additional itemized billing invoices from the clinic for several weeks. Despite repeated follow-ups, I have not been given what I have asked for.I have since seen a different podiatrist, at a different clinic. Using proven treatment methods, my symptoms have improved approximately 75% in just over a week. I would advise friends and to go elsewhere.

I have been seeing Dr. Anderson and his staff since August of 2015. I was having problems walking with my left foot. Dr. Anderson discovered that both of my great toes were lacking in cartilage and this was probably causing the discomfort. We took the non-invasive procedure of having my stem plasma cells injected into both of my great toe joints. The procedure was successful. I had not realized that my right foot was not as pain free as it could be either. After the stem plasma procedure, however, my left great toe was still causing me pain. But, a new pain. Dr. Anderson then scheduled a May date to do a more invasive surgery. Bone spurs were discovered and removed from the joint and the joint was smoothed. I am now recovering and enjoying a recovery soreness when I walk, nothing like the original pain! I am very appreciative of Dr. Anderson and all his staff. Not only are they very professional, but they are very friendly and helpful as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Anderson and his staff if you are experiencing foot problems.

I had an overall negative experience at Anderson Podiatry. I found the staff disorganized and unprofessional. I received stem cell injections and laser treatment for plantar fasciitis which did not help. Here are a few examples of the type of service I received: The employee administering the laser treatment forgot me in the treatment room. After waiting 20 minutes, I came out of the room and found the employee in front of her computer. I had an appointment with Dr. Overman so that he could show me how to wrap my foot. After waiting over an hour, I was told that Dr. Overman was not in the office that day. After setting up a billing plan, I received a bill that did not make any sense. I left a message for the employee handling billing. After a week she called me back and had no idea about the plan that I had set up in the office and did not know how to fix the bill. I had to walk her through what needed to be done step by step. I would recommend finding another practice.

I don’t even know where to start, but first thing I can say is run as fast as you can away from this practice! They violate hippa like crazy. Theres no point in making a appointment because you’ll wait in the lobby forever, then once you finally get in a room you’ll have to wait even longer. Not to mention while your waiting for so long, they come in and stock the room, while your sitting there waiting!? I waited over a hour. Finally a assistant came in to take xrays, and had to retake them three times. Then finally I get to speak with the Dr. (Wilkerson) but only got 3 minutes of his time. Assistants call the doctors out of the rooms left and right. They over book like crazy, and don’t care. Not to mention the place is very old and run down, it’s just dirty. And they have signs they are “remolding” but this has been doing on for over a year, and nothing has changed. I use to be a Dr overman patient, I couldn’t say enough good things about him, he preformed two surgeries on me. But the new Dr., Dr. Wilkerson, is just awful. He doesn’t care. Doesn’t listen. Terrible bed side manners. And Dr. Anderson... I also had a bad experience with him. Dr overman was in Wyoming that day, so was told me to come see Dr Anderson, came in, in a lot of pain, and my foot SUPER swollen; and he told me you just need laser therapy (which is completely out of pocket) then saw Dr overman the next day, and he got me into emergency surgery to remove the plate that’s was bulging out of my foot..Oh and Adriann, will never return your calls, no matter how many times you try to call her/voicemails. She also she told me I was in network for my surgery, then got a $18,000 bill due to out of network fees...Please don’t waste your money and time on this place.

My previous review is not showing, so I thought Id try again. My visit with Dr. Anderson was a disaster. His staff asked me to show up 1/2 hour before my appointment. When I asked why, they said to fill out the new patient paperwork. Since it was available on their website, I asked if I could fill it out in advance and not have to come in a half hour before my appointment. They said I could email it to them, and they confirmed that they received it.I was brought back to an appointment room 15 minutes after my appointment time, and the assistant began asking me all the medical questions that Id already answered in the paperwork Id emailed the previous week. When I told her that, she said, Well, we dont enter any of the info in advance- not until the patient is in the office. What a waste of time! I answered all the questions again.Dr. Anderson finally came in half an hour after my appointment time. He gave my feet a quick and cursory examination, and said wed do x rays and ultrasound. When I said I had a high deductible plan, and asked what they would show that a thorough exam wouldnt, he backed away from the chair, walked across the room, and leaned against the counter. He then said we have a Plan B, and said he could put me into a $1500 protocol for plantars fasciitis, and told me what was included. Wait, what? We didnt even have an accurate diagnosis, it was pretty clear that was not the only issue involved in my heel pain, and he seemed to totally switch gears as soon as he heard I had a high deductible plan and would probably be paying for treatment out of pocket. At that point, I knew he was not the doctor for me. He didnt really examine me, didnt do an accurate diagnosis from my perspective, and didnt provide me with any education or treatment options.I told him I didnt think we were a good fit, and that I was going to leave and see another doctor. He asked if I wanted to speak to his CEO, and I declined, as I was not willing to waste any more time.Worst doctor visit of my life. It felt he got very disinterested once I told him I had a high deductible insurance plan, rather than feeling like an appointment with a doctor who would provide me with an examination, listen to me, educate me, and provide me with treatment options.

I have been a patient of Dr. Andersons for a few years with a difficult nerve problem in my leg that was hard to diagnose. After surgery number three I finally feel that the problem has been solved. To Dr. Andersons credit I would like to say that I always returned to him (even though another Dr. diagnosed the final and most difficult problem faster) because he really cares about his patients and is always very enthusiastic and loves his work. I also believe that he is a very good surgeon. Even in todays world of modern medicine nerve problems can be so difficult to diagnose. Nerve conduction studies and other diagnostic tests dont always show the problem so the Dr. has only his experience to rely on. So there is sometimes a lot of time and money wasted on treatments that dont work. No one is perfect, not even a good doctor. I would also like to say that I have read some reviews complaining about expensive orthotics but even though orthotics may not fix your problem they are so important for foot and leg alignment and may prevent problems down the road. They can be a crucial part of treatment. Also, the custom made orthotics are completely superior to store bought ones although they are pricey but I believe they are worth it. I would also like to say that for patients where laser doesnt help with scar pain, therapeutic ultrasound can be extremely beneficial and IS covered by insurance. In my 10 years working with post surgery hand patients I have seen ultrasound do amazing things to break up scar that is even several years old and it has worked well for me with scar pain after these leg surgeries.. But it should be done at least 10min. 3x per week for 2-3 weeks and I know in many health care clinics that isnt possible anymore. It is a one on one treatment that is too time consuming. In a lot of clinics, therapy aides and assistants always around to help are a thing of the past. In my ideal world it would be done 5x per week for 10-15 minutes followed by stretches. It does in fact affect internal scar. Many doctors just dont know how well it works. It is also very gentle and few people are sensitive to it unless it isnt administered correctly. Now I can return to my dancing lessons and hiking!!

He wanted to do surgery on my foot to remove major nerve endings to treat planter fasciitis. I thought that was a little extreme. I treated myself with things from Walgreens and was healed in 2 weeks. The first visit he injected my foot with cortizone shots which only made my foot numb for two days $150. This made the situation even worse. I was never told the cost of the shots and had to pay out of pocket because my insurance company did not cover the shots. My second visit was even weirder, He wanted me to do a nerve muscle test on a machine that cost $500. I said no and the visit was basically over. I payed for a basic follow up visit out of pocket again $35 if i recall correctly. Three weeks later I received a bill in the mail for 276.32. I called the office and was transferred to the billing department to speak with a man that told me that adjustments were being made to my insurance and to disregard the bill. One month later I received a collection notice from transworld systems in the amount of $276.32. The office still cannot tell me what this charge is for. In summary I think this guy is a total scam artist and should not have a doctors title associated with his name.

Since the day I could barely walk in with diabetic nerve pain in both feet, they have provided service and support that has been superior. Dr. Anderson was able to schedule me in for my surgery in month of first seeing him. Then the second in six weeks. Once all healed. It was then maintaining on my end. In early 2021 my nerve pain came back, due to high BG numbers. Options were given to me (surgery again or e-stim) treatment. We choose e-stim and began that day. The treatment has been absolutely amazing! We have also made a plan for maintaining the treatment. For more on my story you can contact me. I Highly recommend Dr. Anderson and staff.
