Absolutely horrible people. Beware!! Read reviews before becoming a patient here. Wont help you, and Wont work with you either. Worst experience from a doctors office ever!

Insensitive, uncaring and they do NOT even follow their own office rulesI brought my 94-year-old mother to her appointment. Which in itself is not easy.We called upon our arrival (COVID-19).. they said she could not be seen!! Because we were late. We got there at 1:531. Her appointment was at 2pm2. They asked us to be there 15 minutes early. And that they have a If you are 10 minutes late you must reschedule clause3. Yes, we ran behind, due to a traffic accident - AND arrived at 1:53pm. Which is in their 10-minute late rule... Took a screenshot of the History of this call. Explained to 2 people on the phone.4. They only went by their clocks in the office, not the cell/satellite time, and refused to see her!!!It was 90 degrees and uncomfortable for a 94 year old to be out and about - they did not even abide by there own rules and see her.WILL NEVER GO BACK

Absolutely appalling. I have been in 3 times for an ankle issue. First time Dr. Johnson filled me with hope regarding my recovery from tendonitis and made it sound like the aircast boot would fix everything. Went back because it was painful to walk in the boot. They said they would begin insurance authorization for an MRI, but a week and a half later, I called and found out they never initiated that process. They submitted the request without any information regarding prior treatment having failed, so insurance denied the request twice before finally approving it.Finally went back after my MRI. She looked at my MRI for 2 minutes out of the room, never showed it to me. Never looked at it in more detail afterwards. I told her I have not been sleeping due to the pain and she told me to take Benadryl. Tried that for a few weeks and still wasnt sleeping so I called the office. They said they dont prescribe sleep aids because theyre a podiatry office. My bad, I guess I should have chosen an actual doctor. If that wasnt enough. My other ankle started hurting in the same place from overuse and she acted like it was no big deal. Told me that it was likely the same thing by the way the symptoms were presenting, even though they presented entirely different. So yeah. I will be taking my MRI images and getting a second opinion.

My experience has always been great! The reception staff are very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Johnson has been knowledgeable about what is needed to relieve the pain in my feet. Most appreciated was her apt diagnosis of planters warts (Id been to other podiatrists who never told me this!). The treatment Dr. Johnson prescribed worked and greatly lessened my pain. Im so happy with my treatments that I continue to make appointments when Im in Fort Collins even though I live out of state now!

Beware these con artists. They put me with a doctor named Kate Johnson. Her bio on their website made it seem like she was an expert. She was actually completely clueless, even had a more experienced member of the staff following her to make sure she didnt screw up. This doctor just sat there with a dazed look on her face and said I dont know, wow, I dont know about 10 times. She threw some tape on my foot (I made an appointment to discuss long term solutions, she put tape on my foot), the whole appointment took 15 minutes. For this, I paid a $35 co-pay, my insurance paid $97 and they keep sending me threatening collection notices for another $73. FOR WHAT? These people did ZERO for me, it was of ZERO benefit, and all they cared about was milking me and my insurance company. They didnt offer one single idea or plan of action... they put tape on my foot, took my money and pushed me out the door as quickly as possible. So, if you are looking for people who only care about taking $100 for you and have zero to offer with regards to helping you with your medical problems, then these con-artists are perfect.

The worst. What a mess. Charged insurance late so we stuck with 800 bill the worst people on Earth. Scam scam scam never ever go hear unless u want to get bent over and go bankrupt. They waited 4 months to bill insurance and since we changed insurance we stuck with bill. Refused to back date. Would rather crud on their patients than fixing a simple error.Beware looking at the positives on here they fishy. Prob employees and family cause impossible to have any positives.

In the 15 years, Ive been going to A Step Ahead Foot & Ankle Center. Doctor Knutsen has treated me for everything from turf toe to Plantar Fasciitis and everything in between. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and if your feet are hurting, I strongly recommend them.

One of the most unprofessional places I have been too. Was scheduled for a follow-up by their staff and went in a week later to find out nothing was done to authorize it through insurance and they acted like it was no big deal and that I should just come back like I just have unlimited free time. Then get into room and they start asking how things went that they didnt do last time. I would recommend taking your money and care elsewhere.

This podiatrist is the 3rd I have gone to for treatment of foot pain. I was originally diagnosed with tarsal tunnel syndrome after a misdiagnosis of plantar fasciitis by another podiatrist. The first office visit with this new podiatrist was fine until both my feet were taped to help alleviate the pain that I have been experiencing for years!!!? Didnt work. But the real pain came when I was charged for the taping. At no time during the visit was I informed that there would be a cost for the taping. I believe patients have the right to know what they are being charged for and to have the option of declining the service. That was not the case with this visit. I do not intend to go back. So its on to yet another doctor in my quest to resolve my severe foot pain.

I work as a ski patroller and was having severe sixth toe/Tailors bunion pain due to 50 hrs a week in ski boots. The pain was debilitating enough to the point of being unsure whether or not I could finish out the season. The Dr. diagnosed the issue, administered a cortisone shot to take down the swelling, and I was able to finish out the season pain free. The quality of service here was great and I am very appreciative of how I was treated as a patient!
