DO NOT GO HERE!Dr. Norris, while a good enough Doctor, he talks down to his employees in a very disrespectful way that is quite upsetting to me. They also stopped taking a lot of insurances that they previously accepted, including mine. I have been going here for over a decade but has since merged with Eye Center of Northern Colorado. I stopped going to the Eye Center of Northern Colorado because they stopped accepting my insurance, never told me that and then send me a very large bill for several appointments after the fact that help to push me into bankruptcy. After recently scheduling an appointment, they called me back to cancel due to the merger and me being discharged from the Eye center for their billing practices. Go here at you own risk but youd better make sure they take your insurance at every appointment because they can and will change that at any monument and may not tell you till after they bill you.

Precise and competent are important considerations and Dr. Norris gets top recommendations. He has taken care of my eyes professionally including laser on both eyes. His medical and front office staff are competent and friendly which make visits a lot more pleasurable.

I have found Dr. Norris to be open and direct. He is nearly all business, but he does share friendly banter at times. I think he is quite busy but is thorough in describing the issues you have. I enjoy his staff and I have found them to be caring and friendly.

Dr. Norris is not what youd call warm & fuzzy. However, he is personable AND when it comes to the health and care of my eyes... I trust the expertise and professionalism of Dr. Norris 110%!

Dr. Norris is a very experienced, highly competent & very thorough ophthamologist who has instilled confidence in me that all the issues regarding the health & functioning of my eyes will be addressed in an extremely professional manner. Also, Dr. Norris is skilled in selecting excellent staff, who are always friendly, professional, accomodating and generous with their time. While Dr. Norris is irritatingly conservative for my democratic-socialist perspective and has a touch of the typical surgeons God complex... I dont select my preferred doctors based on politics. I go to Dr. Norris because I think he is one of the best ophthalmologists in northern Colorado.

Dr. Norris is a terrible doctor. I will steer all family and friends away from him at all costs. Dr. Norris diagnosed me with dry eye and treated me for it for almost a year requiring me to come in almost monthly to receive expensive treatments. After almost a year, I suspected something wasn’t right and sought a second opinion. After visiting two other ophthalmologists they confirmed I’ve NEVER had dry eye and was actually suffering from an allergy to my contacts which was easily solved. Dr. Norris is also rude, he made comments that I reminded him of his ex-wife (a response he made after I said I was timid about certain treatments). I’ve noticed a lot of elderly people going to his office, and I worry he is taking advantage of them, and that possibly they don’t have access to these reviews.

I go here because they make the most accurate lens prescriptions Ive ever had in a lifetime of glasses! Having diplopia and both near and far sighted challenges makes the task challenging. They have made 4 sets of daily wear progressive transition lenses and 2 pair of polarized sunglasses perfectly- all with 3 degree prism.Other places have not made lenses with as sharp a view these come out with, and perfect location of transition top to bottom. Some gave up trying!

Dr. Norris was extremely rude to me, barely acknowledged me as a human being sitting there in his patient chair , never took 15 seconds out of his busy and oh so important job to look me in the eye to acknowledge my presence, kept his eyes on the computer or the equipment the entire time he was “dealing” with my case, responded very flippantly and arrogantly (and incorrectly I believe) to my questions, blustered in and out in a matter of about 5 minutes leaving me no time to talk. I was trying to ask him a question as he was hurrying out the door, which he didn’t stop to answer. I felt unimportant, disrespected, and stupid in his presence. Life is too short to pay someone to treat you this way. Then I hear he has treated others this way too. A “doctor” is supposed to have a bedside manner that makes a patient feel comfortable and in good hands. He’s not a doctor in my book. Just a self-important technician.

We were fortunate to have Dr. Kim for out opthamologist until she left the practice. Our experience with Dr. Norris was VERY negative. I am unsure if he just needed the revenue off of another office visit or just was in a really bad mood. He was extremely rude and appeared to think that he was more intelligent than anyone else in the room Either way, we have found another practice. Never to return.

I in no way want my review to be a reflection at all of Dr Norris. I believe he is a conservative practitioner and very knowledgeable. This review pertains to the lady? who does the eye-glass fittings in his office. She has a hair cut like Victoria Beckham (We will call her and it the biotch-cut) and yes, it suits her just fine. Today was Valentines Day. My husband who has been very ill, was being seen by Dr. Norris for an eye infection. There was a full lobby, and a lady coughing wildly on the one side, so we chose to sit down near the eye-glasses where 6 empty seats were available. Immediately, Miss Biotch-cut came over and stared at my husband. Politely, he said, If we shouldnt be sitting here, we can move. I thought she would be gracious and tell us it was alright to stay until a customer arrived--but NOOOO! She told us she would like it if we moved to the other side because she would be serving someone with eyeglasses immediately. ThaT IS eXActly HOW SHE SAID IT!!! So we moved, AND EVEN THOUGH HE WAS IN A LOT OF PAIN, he got up, but I became very irritated. Her superior attitude and OCD-like behavior was UNACCOMMODATING AND RUDE. Whats even more atrocious is that we sat on the other side trying to speak, and she came over and confronted us! She must have heard me say how rude it was to have us move and took it upon herself to come over! She wanted approval for her actions and I waved her away. She asked if we understood why we were asked to move--as if we were children! She WANTED a confrontation! After receiving his check-in which took ten minutes, we were again ushered in that waiting area, and Miss Biotch-Cut STILL did not have her new clients at her 6 royal-chaired table! So she lied!!! NO ONE was coming over, and she only said that to make it more urgent that we move. I am completely appalled at how common courtesy is fleeting with these so-called professionals in professional settings. It wouldnt have hurt her one tiny iota to have us sit there for 5 minutes. Instead, shes made a lasting impression concerning what a BIOTCH she is. Learn some manners, lady. If your SO didnt bring you a rose for Valentines Day, it might be because you didnt deserve one? Just a thought. But its NOT OK to take our your unhappiness on others--especially Dr. Norriss PATIENTS!!!! Lesson: You are not better than anyone else. We are all going to the same place, 6 feet under, remember that.

Plan on bringing your lunch and plenty of things to entertain yourself as you will be waiting for 2-3 hours to see the doctor no matter what time of the day you schedule you appointment. I tried scheduling with a different doctor and for the first appointment in the morning, but still waiting for 2 hours while the doctors were heard chatting done the hall while I sat waiting for a hour and finally walked out after loosing patience. Front reception was only concerned about me knowing that my insurance company would still be billed for the appointment instead of having any concern for me as a patient waiting needlessly. Was told that appointments always take 2+ hours after the fact, but not ever when scheduling an appointment.

Had to wait over an hour to see him. When I did, he thought an allergic reaction was dry eye and prescribed me eye care items (like eyelid wash) that did not help. Not only did he also wrongfully diagnose my dads eye condition with dry eye, he failed to listen to what I was saying and had a disrespectful attitude. My dad had a similar experience where he had his eyes dilated and was told he had to pay for another visit to get the results. Would not recommend.
