Recently had an episode where I seemed to be reacting to an infected cyst. I called dr, Homburg on a Sunday morning to tell him and he told me to go immediately to the e.R. I did and it was discovered that I had sepsis criteria - an infection that was entering my bloodstream. I was concerned since my older brother had recently died from this infection. Once in he bloodstream it is transmitted to the interior organs which will then shut down. It took five days of continuous antibiotic IV infusions before it was cleared up. There is no doubt in my mind that if I had to wait for a doctors appointment even on Monday I would have died. MDVIP goes far beyond mere convenience and I cant imagine a better value for the dollar.
