As a new Fort Collins resident several years ago I read the bios of many doctors and health care facilities to find a new doctor. I am so glad I ended up at Associates in Family Medicine in the Lemay Clinic. The doctors are great, the staff friendly and helpful and when I had a problem after a joint replacement they helped me stay on top of it and clear it up. Even on the weekend and after hours. I would highly recommend this facility and staff.

I was most impressed with Dr. Jung on my first visit for an annual physical. He was very concerned about my health and talked in laymans terms. I will be returning to see him whenever there is a need. My husband also goes to him and because he was so impressed with him, I changed my GP doctor to Dr. Jung. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor at Associates in Family Medicine.

I went on to Associates in Family Medince for my annual physical and had absolutely some of the best care ever, Erin Stalker, FNP has excellent patient care standards her staff and the communication is superior weather it be on the phone or email, or even the portal. All my health questions were addressed and I left feeling very well cared and confident I was not left as just another patient. I look forward to working closely with Erin Stalker, FNP in the near future with some weight-loss ideas to better my life style. I was so impressed with the care by Erin and Associates in family medicine and the all the staff that my wife has scheduled an appointment as well.

Dr Bryan Reider is amazing! Unfortunately all the ladies that work in the front office are super rude. They have dropped the ball on my prescription for over a week and when I talk to the “office manager” all I received was attitude. When I asked what my course of action was to make sure my prescription was filled, she replied “You are speaking to the office manager, it will get done”. What kind of response is that? Do I call back?, do I wait 1 hour, do I wait 2 hrs?, because iv been waiting all week and they have consistently made mistakes. I have been as polite as possible, but I will be finding a new doctor and new doctors office. DO NOT SPEND YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE

After moving to Northern Colorado I was hesitant to go to a practice due to the lack of diversity and I was right... my doctor, Dr. Siple was not familiar enough with Sickle Cell Anemia or wanted to get the answers to my questions after I suffered a stroke and was informed I need to meet with my primary doctor. I still do not know why... my visit was not informative. And for a doctor to shrug their shoulders at a question... another sign I didnt heed. After they had an issue with my insurance company, with no warning, they denied a prescription refill, I called to find out why, they stated youre no longer a patient. I was shocked and asked why wasnt I informed, what am I suppose to do, they said, youll have to figure it out. Wow!The billing issue where they said theyll refile, itll work out, that happens when you switch insurance... didnt work out. I had several visits after, no problem... luckily I figured it out. I wouldve paid the $170. Seriously... definitely not patient oriented. Its not all doctors or staff yet it only takes one. First do no harm... Im very disappointed.

Extremely disappointed with their “practice policy”. I tried to get an appointment for my 10 year old daughter with Dr. Wilson who was our family doctor, only to be informed that since my child hadn’t been seen since 2017 she is considered a new patient, and Dr. Wilson isn’t taking new patients. So now, I have to take her to someone new for a sensitive issue instead of the only doctor she has known. They don’t inform patients ahead of time that this will happen. We just suddenly don’t have a family doctor. I expressed my disappointment only to be told it’s “practice policy”. We will be finding another doctor at a different practice.

All AFM clinics care about is money. If you see somebody one day, you can expect them to not be in the next and best of luck interpreting your visit as they are now onto new patients and cant make the time to discuss your test results.Once they have your visit money they dont have to follow up with you or do squat. Any other business model like this would sink. They get away with it because people are sick and vulnerable. If they offered free medical service, I would not come back to an AFM clinic. They care zero about patient health. Zero.

Useless. I called about a broken finger, they never scheduled an xray for me, ended up ust making a splint and waiting it out. Unable to refill subscriptions have called multiple times only to never have any help. Useless. Dont waste your time getting to know a doctor here, youll be painfully let down. USELESS

I recently had to switch doctors and chose Dr Steves from an online search based on her excellent credentials. But, since I hadnt talked to anyone directly who went to Dr Steves, I was a little apprehensive. My first visit went very well. The staff was very helpful and Dr. Steves put me at ease. She patiently listened to some health concerns I had and carefully explained a treatments options.I am very happy with the choice I made.

Went for a free yearly physical. Was asked by the doctor (F. Wilson) how I was doing. Told the doctor three health concerns I was having, wasnt looking for treatment, just wanted the doctor to have a complete picture of my health. No more than 10-15 minutes in all. Got a bill for over $600 in charges, and was told the doctor addressed other issues during the visit and it also constituted an office visit. I did not solicit help, I was asked what was going on under the context of a search for a complete picture of health. I did not follow up on any of her prescriptions/x-rays/etc. Office wouldnt budge on bill. Health care for profit above people at this place.

I have gone to the Associates in Family medicine Urgent Care facility five times in the last year. On every occasion the doctors and nurses have treated me with caring, expert assistance. They explained their diagnosis and my options. The facility has X-ray, ultrasound, and EKG equipment to determine basic conditions. On two visits I was told to go immediately to an Emergency Room. The other events proved to be less urgent, so I avoided the huge cost of an unnecessary visit to the ER.

My girlfriend and I have both had bad experiences here. They can’t take down the correct insurance info, the doctors always leave very early making it hard to get ahold of them, and they run tests without telling you and then have no answers when questioned about a bill you receive from outside companies 7 months later. Just go somewhere else and save yourself some trouble down the road. I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but we are so upset with this constant disappointment that I felt like I had to.

Fiona (Dr. Wilson) What can I say ? She is hands down the BEST Dr. in Fort Collins, the front range and maybe even Co. ! So, everybody who has a good Dr. thinks theirs is the best, right ? Well, I have proof. Three times she has LITERALLY saved my husbands life, against the WRONG advise of the specialty Dr.s who decided he did not need to be seen or hospitalized. One of them practically killed him, no that was 2. Three times she hospitalized him immediately, and saved his life ! Besides that, shes just great. We LOVE her professionally and personally ! She is friendly and accommodating. And she CARES about her patients! She has been my husbands Doc for 16 yrs. and mine for ? not sure, I think its somewhere between 2-3 yrs. . (dont ask why). What else can I say. I guess that covers all the important stuff. Oh, yea, she grows great vegetables too ! Love ya, Jolae

This place is a joke. One of my doctors left the practice without any notification, which led to a lenghty delay in the refills of very important medications.I felt belitted, shamed, and patronized in a situation where a doctor was at fault. Received no apologies.Ive perceived arrogance here that is quite alarming-- especially among the after hours urgent care staff. This place seems to house another sad case of doctors always thinking they know whats best for the patient. Ive never felt so hesitant and scared to simply ask for help from people whos job is to help others. I suffer from ptsd and the experiences Ive had here have caused anxiety attacks.

I recently had a wonderful experience with Anne in the billing department! I had recently changed insurances because of employment changes and I wanted to continue seeing the doctor at AFM that I had been seeing for the past seven years. My new insurance maintained that AFM was no longer in my network and I would have to go elsewhere even after they had initially told me otherwise. I called and talked to Anne to double check. Over the course of a few weeks she called her insurance rep and ensured me that I was indeed covered. She called me back several times to give me updates and truly helped give me confidence in the situation. Insurance companies are confusing and can be costly and it helps to know that there are people like Anne advocating for my benefits. Thanks Anne, I really appreciate it!! :)

I have been going to AFM for over 30 years, but because I have not been in to see a DR. In three years I am now considered a new patient! I have not been to see a dr in three years because they usually send me to their clinic because its more convenient for them and helps them generate additional revenue from my insurance company. JOKE!!

I’ve been to this facility three different times for the same issue which is still undiagnosed and potentially threatening. They don’t seem to do any kind of patient review here for each time I come I’m treated as if they’ve never treated me before. There seems to be a major lapse In communication between the front office and the doctors and nurses in my experience.Receptionists seem miserable. Unhelpful and honestly rude.

I have what they call white coat syndrome, I get very nervous and uncomfortable when I have to see doctors. I got a pretty serious diagnosis and was in the ICU at PVH for a few days. After being released I had to get a primary care physician to keep up on my health check ups and what not, AFM came highly recommended. I currently see Dr. Amber Steves and I couldnt be happier with my decision on her or the office. She makes every single visit very comfortable for me and never leaves me wondering whats going on! Whenever I come in for an appointment the desk staff and the nurses are always very easy to work with and all very friendly! Thank you so much for making difficult times easier!

My entire family sees Dr. Broman and we love him. Hes been my Dr. for almost 20 years and I’ve referred several family and friends to him because he is truly amazing! Lucy, his nurse is also fantastic and nice and incredibly knowledgeable. They are the reason we are with Associates in Family Medicine. The front staff is not great and trying to get through on the phone takes at least 10 try’s if you call between 8-9, anytime around the lunch hour, and any time after 4 pm. I understand high call volume, but you’re immediately asked to call back. When you go into the office, you’re not received with a welcome and eye contact is avoided while you wait two feet away from front reception. When Dr. Broman retires (I hope its a long time off) well seek another office

Heres my story of why Associates In Family Medicine will only help you if you have money, Ive been a patient with AFM for long time. Im a father of three boys ages 16, 13, and 12. My middle son has special needs.... Im also a husband for 17 years. I try real hard to be a good man. Heres why Im upset with AFM. Last summer I was diagnosed with a Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Pretty serious condition. With no health care, because I cant afford it on my salary and make ends meet. Our rent has increased in the past year, because I live in Colorado, We were/ and still do live paycheck to paycheck and not really, we always short every month. This is why I ended up owing AFM $175.00, and couldnt pay it. Pay $175.00 or feed my kids, To make it worst, I was laid off in July of this year, so I really couldnt pay, and now on MEDICAID, I was communicating this to there finance dept. as well as Dr. Schmitt. Dont think he/ they listened or even cared, he/ they also know about my AAA, because he is my PRIMARY DOCTOR and prescribes me high blood pressure meds for this condition. So.... he should know me, right?? Anyway I now have to have surgery for this, AAA. Still no job, Still on Medicaid, Still owing $175.00 to AFM, bummer for me, right? Well thats not it, AFM releases me as a patient, because I owe $175.00, SO I PAY $145.00 AND THEY TAKE IT. Bills gone, payed, THEY STILL WONT RE-INSTATE AS A PATIENT> Told to find another doctor that takes Medicaid. Sorry, FAMILY should not be in you NAME.

After experiencing an unexpected lay off from my job, I made an appointmen to see Dr. Broman before my insurance was canceled. He and the entire staff was extremely considerate and kind and most of all understanding of my current situation. Dr. Broman reminded me that I would be an assest to any place I worked and encouraged me to stay in touch even though he knew I would no longer have insurance..he told me not to worry and to let him and his office take care of me. How heartwarming it was to be cared for in such a manner. I left feeling positive and assured that I am valuable. It was the boost I so badly needed. Thank you a million times over...from my first steps in the door to my last tearful goodby, I felt truly comforted and taken care of.
