The staff here is absolutely amazing and wonderful!! They never made me or my fiancé feel bad about being there and the nurses were so sweet to me and made me feel like they truly cared and if I had a question or needed anything they were there with fast responses and ready to help! The drs were wonderful and very caring and informative as well, and after I had my procedure they even walked me out to my vehicle and opened my door for me!! Excellent hospital with stellar employees!! Thank you so much!!!

I don’t understand this hospital. You can come here on the same day at different times and you can have two completely different experiences. One great and one just absolutely horrible. It’s like this hospital has two faces. It’s crazy watching a hospital that’s had a good reputation for so long start to lose it so quickly but I guess everyone’s a sell out now a days. Hospitals can’t even give out good bandaids anymore without going cheap. I feel bad giving them a one star but the bad will always outweigh your good. Professional prices for cheap results. Also, you can just walk out of this Hospital during your stay and no one will notice till hours later that your gone. I wouldn’t recommend leaving your senior family members here alone unattended with them.

On September 20th 2021 ,I had brought my daughter into st agnus for mental health help, after a suicide attempt. My daughter was finially ready to seek help in a inpatient facility. St. Agnes said to go thru er to admit her and after they do a medical exam,if there is a bed available she will then be admitted. As we waited , over 3 hours to have the doctor come back to say,she has covid. I was pretty shocked because physically she had no symptoms. So I asked whats next. Then he said I will be back and a nurse came in to say they cant admit her for mental health treatment because she has covid.I was pretty shocked this was a issue because we are in a hospital facility and we were walking around the hospital with only a mask with no concerns of covid until they did a test atleast 2 hours after we arrived at St. Agnes. Her insurance would pay for her treatment and she would be in a facility that she could have been quarantined and had treatment. St. Agnes sent my daughter away and said she can come back after she test negative for covid.

Ive been going to St Agnes for my prenatal appointments and I also delivered here. Everyone in the OB/GYN and Woman and Infants department has been so kind, caring and attentive. I always felt comfortable and informed all the way up to delivery and when we unexpectedly had to go for a cesarian section, then afterwards for recovery. During my hospital stay, all of my questions were answered, the nurses came in for really simple things and made no fuss about it. They were all so happy to help us care for our newborn and were so supportive. My OB, Dr. McCoullough has been absolutely amazing. Shes the type of doctor that is in the moment and isnt thinking about what has to be done later in the day. If you need something she makes sure its taken care of right away, not when its convenient for her.Aftercare has been tremendous as well. I have easily been able to meet with a Laction consultant, and there has been a nurse calling me each week (at my consent) to check in on my healing and mental health in between post partum appointments. I just feel so supported by the staff and like I can reach out at anytime without being brushed off or waved off because Im concerned about something small.Although we dont have as much experience quite yet, what we have noticed is that the pediatric department is also just as awesome. Dr. Enea and the nurses are all just wonderful and make me feel like my newborn son is in good hands.Pregnancy and post partum is hard, but i feel so supported by medical staff at St. Agnes.

My Experience with Dr. here have not been pleasent however... My husband went in to ER and was in Emergency Surgery by the time I got the call and got to Hospital (35min) and the Urologist Dr. On-Call was Dr. Johnson he was awesome! My husbands labs came back as he had a type of bacteria in his blood stream that was unknown to everyone else he had seen Dr. Johnson vowed to keep him until they figured it out and he was better. They grew culture out twice and tried every antibiotic known and available to them and still no results. Dr. Johnson ended up coming up with his own concoction formula of Antibiotics and in 2 days of him doing a Ct finding he had a tumor secreting bacteria into bloodstream concocting antibiotics and IV treating him he was finally not sick and was referred to and Endocrine Dr. and released!!My baby sister went in to have her baby and her BP was through the roof when nurse took it she got a new bp cuff it was so high she thought it was broke however new cuff still read 274/168 an my sister was at very extreme risk of stroke or seizuring so immediately The Room filled with a Great Team from OB dept. Lead By Dr. Shultz OBGYN I believe she is. She has been beyond awesome at her job explaining and taking all precautions to ensure the safety and health of Baby and My Sissy!! Her bedside manors are excellent however Dr. Meyer I wouldnt recommend to take care of my worst enemies pets... Shes very rude no bedside manors and had she actually looked at my sisters charts shed known the situation wasnt anyones fault it simply happened but immediately started scolding her for some stupid testing she didnt do during prenatal care due to the envasiveness of it and not having access to a location that did said testing! So if you have Dr. Meyer or Dr. Miller whom wants to take my overies out every pap I get when Im only 35 and have no children...and I guarentee Im not the only one hes tried coning a historectimy when it is completely unessasary....

The staff and care received at this hospital was excellent. We had to check my wife in on a Wed. night at 10:30 and was amazed at the amount of staff for that time of night. Everyone that treated her or looked after her that night and the next three days should be commended. The knowledge and caring of every one who treated or interacted with myself or my wife was well above average. They took great pains to keep my wife and myself informed of all procedures that were done. I have no complaints.

I said no my son just needed to use the restroom. He asked again if we had an appointment. Again I said my son just needed the restroom. He said unless we had an appointment he could not. I asked him if he was really denying a mentally handicapped person the bathroom. He asked me if I wanted him to call security. This is absolutely unacceptable. Even the lady at the ADA in the Judicial department was appalled. I will be filing a formal complaint with the ADA as well.

ICU team saved my life two years ago. Dont know anything about the doctors because I dont remember speaking to one -- I was in an induced coma for several days. My husband said that the doctor who admitted me (around 2 am) told him he might as well go home because I probably wouldnt make it through the night. The nurses, however, were phenomenally patient and kind. Sat with me, explained everything that had happened while I was in la-la land, even washed my hair for me.

On January 4th I experienced extreme pain in my back while doing my job as a truck driver. I came to the emergency room at St Agnes. I was registered quickly and went to the waiting room to be called. I was called less than five minutes later. I was given a thorough examination. They determined I was having a heart attack. I was admitted right away.Sunday morning I went to the cath lab early. Dr Santa Cruz determined I had an artery that was 100% blocked. Two stents later I was already feeling better. If I could give six stars I would. The staff from the doctors, nurses and technicians were kind and helpful. They treated me with the upmost of respect.Thank you very much for giving me a another chance at life.

There isnt very many good things that I can say about St Agnes. Although there is a few decent doctors there I would see ( only two ) my husband and I will not go there. It is very sad to me the way they treat people and how much they misdiagnose. It is worth the drive to Madison ( I would greatly recommend Madison) or even Milwaukee to find a better facility to get treated at. I really think there chief of staff and there customer relations person need to seriously listen to complaints and drastically change.

In the ER right now still waiting. Dr. called from convenient care to have IV immediately. That was 1.25 hours ago. Tried speaking to receptionist, she began speaking to a person behind me through the window. Still waiting.Update: Finally being seen. Took 1 hour and 32 minutes to get called in by nurses. Took DR on duty 8 minutes to get to us. 19 minutes for lab. Drew blood. After getting 4 viles of a blood sample, she realized, she needs another. Then she had to get another needle out and re-entered the same hole, missing the vein this time and started digging around.

Having elderly parents, I have spent more time here than I care. First, there are a few super staff members who make the experiences somewhat bearable and give this hospital a hopeful chance. Second, this past stay we have not gotten a straight answer from the nurses except one. She was fantastic. Weve been here for 7 days.Third, A PA talked my mother out of a procedure so she could leave early, resulting in my mother staying an extra 4 days to still have the procedure. Fourth, since we couldnt get a straight answer from anyone, we were shocked when transport came to get her for the procedure early this morning. Fifth, weve been waiting for over 7 hours for the hospitalist to see my mother so she can be discharged. This is one of many disappointing encounters with this hospital.

My mother had an outpatient procedure done here recently and had a horrible experience. She said the doctor was rude and not one person smiled or was courteous. Based on the reviews previous to mine it is clear that this hospital has some major issues with customer/patient service. Get it together St.Agnus-people do base their choice on where they recieve health care based on other patient experiences and reviews. Health care in itself is a very sensitive and private issue. Patients should be treated with the upmost respect given the amount of money people pay for their insurance premiums alone. Sorry-Would not recommend to anyone I know.

Great experiences at St Agnes. I see a lot of reviews on here with unrealistic expectations of a hospital and its staff. I have been to a couple different Agnesian clinics and had to wait to be called because other patients had triage priority....big deal. I have also witnessed patients being rude or demanding to staff. Yeah, I didnt feel good either but I didnt bite the hand that was helping me.My visits were cut and dry, always accurately diagnoses. Even if I would have had to come back due to not feeling better after several days or whatever, misdiagnosis happens. 10 different doctors are presented the same handful of symptoms, ten different outcomes are reached...medicine is a science but it isnt as simple as math. 2 plus 2 always eqals 4 but in medicine, 2 plus 2 can be any number of answers that arent necessarily 4.Be nice to the staff at our community hospital, they are clearly trying their best to make sure we are welll taken care of, even if it takes longer than we want. Remember, there are other people being seen or those who take priority over us due to severity of illness.

Yesterday before noon my husband was brought into St. Agnes ER from his work due to dizziness and numbess in his right side, with extremely high blood pressure. The terrible treatment he received from the ER will prevent us from ever going to St. Agnes again. When the call button was pushed it took on average 25 minutes for a nurse to come to his room. Whether for going to the bathroom or having dizzy spells and increased pain the nurse wouldnt arrive for over 20 minutes. When his pulse monitor wasnt on properly, the alarm went off for 15 minutes and no one ever came to check on him! My husband was never on an IV bag (though he had an iv port) or given water, causing him to become dehydrated. Not once did the nurses wash or sanitize their hands in his room. Once my husband filled his urinal (full in one go) it was never removed from the room, a nurse and a doctor came in after it was full and never removed it! Wrappers were left on his bed after his ekg, probably because both trash cans were full in his room with other medical garbage. The neurologist was paying more attention to the muted tv screen in the room than the patient. We didnt feel the staff could probably take care of my husband so we left against recommendations. Never again will we come to St. Agnes ER, wed rather go out of the way to Oshkosh to receive care. The sad part is we will get a bill and have to pay for lousy treatment my husband received! I dont know if they were short staffed or what but there was no care with the ER staff.

Worst experience of my life. This hospitals HCAHPS scores are lower than the average for the state, and I can definitely see why. Problem is, they do not see it and simply accept and condone poor service, poor customer service and poor quality. I recommend everyone check their scores and compare them to other hospitals that you have a choice to go to. Chose wisely. It was so bad, I filed a grievance with them, I filed a complaint with CMS and with the Joint Commission. Interestingly enough the complaint I filed with them was never answered completely, and they never once apologized for providing poor service. Here are just a few highlights:They would not let me see my son until I presented insurance information.I requested my son not be exposed to radiation from a CT, declined the test, and informed them their were alternatives since the patient was stable. They performed the CT anyway and then billed me.I had to correct the Emergency Room Physician on the blood count numbers. He must be dyslexic because he transposed the numbers and then based treatment off of the incorrect number.I requested a transfer, which was denied. Then five hours later, with no tests performed during that five hours, they transferred my son to a better hospital.I was not allowed to ride in the ambulance with my son, who has frightened and ill. What i do know is everyone has choices, and I would not let a single person at St. Agnes treat my dog. Absolutely poor customer service, physicians who refuse to listen to their patients, quality department who will not properly address any concerns, administration who does not hold anyone accountable to quality healthcare.... It goes on and on. Check their scores and ask yourself why every HCAHPS score is below average. You have choices - chose a facility that has high scores.
