I would only recommend Agnesian’s OB Department if you are hoping to remain unwell. I made multiple visits, called and advocated for my heath to the tune of being ignored, never having phone calls returned and being told I would need to suffer for another 3-4 months before they would consider any further steps.I went to a different health care provider and was immediately treated with respect, courtesy AND appropriate health care. I’m happy to say I’m on the path to recovery—NO thanks to Agnesian. I also made a complaint to their Patient Relations Department and followed up with them—they “forgot” to submit my complaint to the Chief Medical Officer for 3 weeks…

Dr. Patrinske took great care of my Mom. I would give her an A +++. All my Moms nurses were good. I would give 5 stars but the ER doctor could not get the IV in my Moms arm literally 20 times. Her arms are so bruised its ridiculous. Plus he was swearing under his breath. If your a doctor you should be able to get it in ages times not 20. It looks horrid and you dont need to swear and put my Mom in great pain. Its still bad and its been 6 days. I am glad she received good care on 5 South. Thank you , Kelly Steinmetz

Dr. Wiseley from orthopedics is a terrible doctor. Very unprofessional. Wouldnt do my surgery because it was too hard for him but wouldnt refer me to a specialist right away. Put me in a boot for 2 months and found out it got worse. Has cost me half a year of work and life. Would not recommend him to anyone. He should be ashamed.

I can’t wait until covid is irrelevant so that I won’t have to see “Mary” again. I come into the hospital at least once a week and I dread having to walk in to see her face. It’s the absolute worst part of my week. I love her shoes(neon air forces- good taste) but her ego and power issues are out of control. I’m fairly aware that covid is still prevalent but I hate getting harassed by her ever time I come in. I feel like I’m getting interrogated when I’m just trying to go to my appointment. I feel incredibly uncomfortable around her. The other lady that works along side of Mary is always smily and pleasant to be around and I have no issue answering her covid screening questions. Mary stairs at me from a far and fails at her intimidation tactics. Mary has a terrible attitude and I know for a fact that there are many people who feel the same. There are so many beautiful souls who would be better suited taking over this position. Personally I think working at a prison would better suit her personality.

Every time I go to the ER the nurses take HOURS to respond to you in the waiting room and even when you have a room, they don’t take you serious and send you home even if there is something wrong.

The worst hospital. Arrived via ambulance yesterday with a fractured foot and concussion only to sit in the waiting room for 45 minutes. Begged for pain medication, the triage nurse whacked my foot against the chair during registration and said “oops.” Would not recommend going here unless you absolutely need to. Staff are unprofessional and rude.

The ER folks were fantastic and quick. I came in this morning in extreme pain. My RN Andrea did her job fantastically taking my pain away almost immediately. I even named my 1st stone after her on her recommendation ! PA Nicole was awesome as well and diagnosed what was wrong and moved very quickly to get me feeling better! I dont remember the CT scan girl but she was very professional and made me laugh to keep me focus. Cudos ER folks, fantastic job and God Bless your dedication and hard work during this pandemic.

In a word, unprofessional. Covid screeners dressed inappropriately, short curt answers when asked a question. The whole atmosphere has changed and I dont like it. I will seek care somewhere else.

I just went in to get screened for COVID. My wife called and made an appointment. I get there and the person screening people was unprofessional. She asked my appointment time and I wasn’t sure so I said now. She proceeded to just let me stand there. I go outside and call the number and told them. They call me back when they’re ready for me and the nurse got done and told me I didn’t follow directions and that I was screaming at the screener. I told her she unprofessional and rude when I was out there, because she had me standing where people are walking in. Completely unacceptable.

What happened to your feedbacks on reviewing your experience with your Dr? I have been waiting for over two weeks for a call back from Sandy, Dr El Shahat’s nurse regarding a prescription. I personally have called and no response back! Pathetic!I feel like I’m just a number, Dr promising to help, but has fallen short. Not really listening and caring! Just up my dose on one med to make things worse, but not taking care of the other!I have been with Agnesian for over 25 years, since my move to Fond du Lac, I had one exceptional Dr that listened and cared, Dr Lisa Weber. Since she moved to palliative care, I had to search out a new Dr., not impressed!At this point it is time to go and seek out a new Dr that cares and listens. I haven’t been receiving the help I need. When I state that something isn’t working, nothing happens, to resolve the issue, it has made matters worse!Maybe Agnesian doesn’t care about their Drs and patients anymore?After reading some not so good reviews, Agnesian asks patients to call them regarding their experience? Shouldn’t Agnesian call that patient if they really care?

Never thought my daughter would be so mistreated! The board of directors and the president of SSMHealth really need to take a deep dive into the poor patient care that is happening.People have a choice to use another Hospital and clinic. Since the merger from Agnesian to SSMHEALTH the directors are not keeping the well-being of the customer in mind. Many Doctors have left due to poor management and poorly ran business choices. The CUSTOMER OR “Patient keep the place running from a financial standpoint and if they continue to mismanage the business they will suffer as a result. Covid 19 has made it hard enough when our loved ones are hospitalized and are made to be alone, however they need to be treated with respect and compassion! Which was not the cause for my loved one.

I have never one to write poor reviews but I feel this should be brought to attention to put a change of action in place for the care of your patients.Over the years I have always praised Agnesian (I love my OBGYN) but recently after 2 separate visits (me and a family member) I have come to re-think their care for their patients. I’ve been battling a cough for over a month, I’ve been tested for COVID 3 times in the past month because I was told it was COVID and every time (3x) it is negative. Got some answers at the walk in (thank you Dr Wondra) but as soon as the dosage was over with my cough came back and has gotten worse again. Was told at that appointment that I would need an X-ray and further diagnosis if the cough came back but when I requested an appointment was told to get another COVID test that it was COVID that my symptoms might not have shown. I have no other symptoms, I just have a cough that everyday is getting worse. When I cough after a couple words something is going on. Oh and I am healthy I DO NOT smoke and live an active lifestyle. I am being declined further diagnosis unless I go to the ER.Separate occasion recently a family member went in because while outside something popped and snapped in his knee. Could barley walk or put pressure on it. Went into the clinic and was told he just pulled something if it doesn’t get better in a month to come back and was given a compression brace. Okay fine, get back home and he fell to the ground while walking and had fallen down the stairs as his knee just gave out. He’s a laborer so when he attempted to work the next day and kept falling not able to do his job that was the last straw. Called and could not see an orthopedic as he was not referred. Was Charged $200 for “if it’s not better in a month come back”. So we looked up his insurance and found another provider that was covered under his plan. Called explained everything, made an appointment, went in did the protocol and behold his meniscus was 85% torn with loose cartilage . Surgery day has come and gone with the new provider and finally got answers and resolution. Now it’s the healing period.I am not sure what has happened to the care over the years they used to provide but after these 2 circumstances in 2020 I am very hesitant to have any care/treatment done here myself or any family member. If you are not getting answers, I highly recommend to get a second opinion elsewhere.

By far the most despicable experience I have ever endured in a place of public health.The check-in staff had the nastiest attitudes and explained safety protocols in the most condescending nature. Will not return EVER and would absolutely not recommend anyone to allow their loved ones—or even their worst enemies—to fall victim to the subpar services offered here. I recently transferred my digestive health care to this facility as my physician relocated his practice. This is about the worst expereince I have had with the support staff. They will not provide a copy of the med list as other facilities do. I informed the staff about how I wish to be addressed and they have disregarded that.The med list contained numeeous misinformation. Since patients are only given a short amount of time it should not be wasted re hashing information that should have been updated at a previous visit. There is much more I can add but suffice it to say a formal complaint will be made with the State and I will also meet with an attorney.

Worst experience ever!!!! My doctor of 20 years was leaving,had to find new doctor.Saw Dr. Raj,she told me opposite of what 3 previous doctors confirmed for a diagnosis of 25 years!!!! I would be dead or in serious condition by taking her advice from improper medication.I CANT believe she is a doctor. I left almost in tears and a doctor is suppose to be compassionate,she would hear nothing of it. She knew everything. DO NOT GO TO HER!!!!!!!

I give it zero stars. My mother who has dementia was admitted for a 10 day stay. Although I repeatedly asked if she was being gotten out of bed or repositioned as to not develop a pressure sore, she was barely moved. Upon discharge she now has a stage 2 pressure sore.

Had to visit the ED on last Sat night with severe knee pain of unknown cause. I was treated promptly and was provided with pain relief med. US and X-Ray were negative but Monday AM Dr. followup (called me). I cant say enough about the amazing care my family has received there for more than 18 years. They saved my life and that of my wife (cancer) back in 2006. I am 66 years old. Seen a lot, retired US FDA Investigator. I know quality care when I see it. I have read the other reviews and find them short sighted at best. My entire family (me, my wife, 3 kids and 4 Grandchildren) are appreciative and lucky to have access to such great care by such great people. God bless Dr. Tom, Dr. Wright and Dr. Vanderkooy (those are just mine!) and so many others that assist them and have been there and done that for my family!

This is the nastiest Hospital on the planet. I literally had workers threatening to fight me. Elliot was his name. They assume anyone coming in to the er is looking for drugs. I went in with kidney stone concerns. I even called ahead. I was treated like a junky. Nasty, nasty nurse. This is a Christian Hospital? More like satan.

Couldnt schedule an OBGYN appointment without showing up in person to give them my proof of pregnancy. I offered to bring this on the first appointment but apparently thats not an option. Then I was asked about my ultrasound, which I have not had. Doesnt really give me any confidence that they can keep patients straight. Hours after scheduling my appointment, I received a call asking me to schedule. I had to tell the person on the phone I was already scheduled. This makes me super nervous when it comes to having my first pregnancy through Agnesian. Ill keep my scheduled appointment, but I may be switching to Aurora depending on how this appointment goes.

My husband went to the ER with serious life threatening injuries and was admitted by an elderly surgeon who failed to order diagnostic tests to determine the extent of his injuries for 5 days, even though he said my husband would have a chest CT shortly, I didnt know that meant 5 days later. He was left to suffer unbearable pain and the surgeon would not order appropriate pain medication, after 6 days his condition had deteriorated significantly and he almost died waiting for this doctor to just help him. Another doctor took over his care after he nearly died and finally after going to ICU his condition improved. This should not have happened to my husband and should not happen to anyone. Something needs to be done to prevent this from ever happening again.

I would give this hospital no stars if I could. I had an outpatient procedure performed and had a waiting time of two hours due to unforeseen circumstances. The doctor was rude, the nurses were rude, and by the time I left I knew that I would never return, due to the very unacceptable, condescending attitude of most people that worked at this facility. The only employees that were truly friendly were the customer service representatives upon checking in to the hosptial. I would give them all 5 stars. After I told some people in the area about the care I received at this particular hospital, they told me Oh, you are talking about St. Agonys.

I went to pay my bill. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough in my account at the time so it got bounced. I called to see what I could do and the lady said I had nothing to pay. So I let it go then I have a bounced check fee added to my bill which is reasonable. I call and set up online payments where I would pay once a month instead of worrying about a check. Then all of a sudden they try and run my check through again giving me problems with my bank. Do not recommend at all.

I went to the emergency room after a visit to the walk in clinic do to my stomach hurting. The doctor came in we talked about doing some tests I even suggested a couple test. He was really nice and seemed as if he was there to help. He came in after the test results came back. He asked if I got any medicine yet for my stomach (I was poking around the idea I may have gastritis) I said no. My test showed I had an infection which also would cause stomach pain. The doctor assurred me there was going to be something Ill be taking for my stomach, he leaves. A nurse comes in with my discharge instructions. Nothing about my stomach pain just the medicine for my infection. Today was my last day for meds and my stomach hurts badly. Im trying to figure out on my own how to help with what I think is gastritis. I also didnt receive any referrals for a doctor. The nurse that discharged me around 4pm on Thursday Jan. 23rd did not help when I asked about the medicine. She asked me my name again thinking she was talking to the wrong person since the doctor didnt add that medicine in on the chart. She was so rude and unkind. She needs patient training.

This is the absolute worst hospital I’ve ever dealt with in my life. And I have lupus so I’ve seen, been to, and been treated at many different hospitals in my life. The only reason this has one star is because I am forced to give it a rating in order to leave this review. I sat for five hours when it should have been an in and out visit. The only light in the dark that night was the nurse. Besides that, it was an absolute joke. I left there disappointed, in more pain than when I arrived, and in tears. I had to travel back to Michigan to see my specialist at the uofm hospital in order to get the care I needed even though my insurance wouldn’t cover it. Now, for a 4 thousand dollar bill, they want to sue me. Even though I actively make a 200$ payment every month and have made clear I cannot afford more. Do yourself a favor and drive to a different/better hospital. I will never set foot into this place again. I will never take anyone to this hospital. I love them too much to watch them go through what I have, and am currently going through. Horrible care (except for the nurse) and absolutely horrible administrative/billing/insurance team.

Bugs flying around inside in the winter. Doctors (male) fingernails are so long they should be cut or painted. Ipad type signature devices (you use your finger to sign) were not wiped after use. Dirty, dirty,dirty. Id feel cleaner in Wuhan right now.

Came because my doctor was on vacation from another hospital. Doctor khanpara was asking me what the other doctor gave me for the breakout I have. If hes a trained professional number 1 why is he asking me instead just wants to give me an anti-fungal over the counter cream. Sorry to say this place has seen its best days!!

I’ve been here a total of 3 times,1st visit: 3 stars (Fall 2017)I’ve had a really bad bronchial cough which caused me to be very sick for the whole month of October. I’ve had 3 tests (blood drawn, strep test, and flu test done) and I have not been called back for the results. They prescribed me antibiotics and a steroid to help keep the cough down, BEFORE we consulted about my symptoms. However, the OBGYN and staff were great, and very helpful.2nd visit: 4 stars. (Winter 2017)I came to the hospital and set up an appointment for me to get on birth control. Everything ran smoothly, but I waited forever to get taken care of. I waited a total of 1hr and 20 min for medical attention from a medical professional. However, I did receive my results the SAME day and the pill was ready the same day.3rd visit: 3 stars (Spring 2018)I was sick to my stomach for 5 days, threw up, had chills, the whole thing. I was tested again and never got results back even when I asked to call me even if they come up negative. I also waited about 1hr to get in, and staff were supportive.Overall, I shouldn’t complain, the facility is easy to navigate, staff is helpful when they’re available. I reccomend Agnesian if your a patient person and willing to hear results days later and a person who knows the wait time before being able to talk to a doc or nurse.

By far the worst experience Ive had at a doctor visit. She took me off meds without talking to me and then basically through a tempertram when I said I wanted a new doctor, and she cancelled All my meds. Do NOT go to Internal medicine, wait patiently for an appointment elsewhere.

Would give zero stars if I couldand heres why. I had two huge bumps on my inner thigh and I had no idea what they were. I thought they would get better but they kept getting bigger so I went to the Agnesian E.R room. They said they didnt know what they were so they did at least 3 tests including a CT scan which I later found out they charged me $2600 For! After all of the test they told me that the bumps are swollen thyroid glands and would begin to go away. I was in a lot of pain and had to walk wierd because of it so I asked for some pain killers and they gave me a very strict NO. They didnt give me any antibiotics or anything, just told me to go home. After another week the bumps had filled with puss and one popped and I had to cut the other one open to get the puss out. The total charge was $8800!!!!! Luckily I had insurance but still own $2800. That was my first visit there and WILL NEVER GO TO OR RECOMMEND AGNESIAN AGAIN. Just go to Aurora Health. They are great!

Arrogant prima donna doctor because of being informed would be seeking a second opinion at Froedtert. This is unconscionable and deserves to be publicized. One star is way more than they deserve.

Concerning the domestic abuse shelter. You cant contact or ask questions through the site. They wont accept Hotmail, Outlook, or Gmail. They want a business email or you cant contact. Some women CANT call a hotline. The fact that they wont accept emails from 95% of the population is just unacceptable.

In 2015, I had to go to the ED (Emergency Dept.), as I was having an allergic reaction to a med the VA giving me (VA couldnt figure it out, but Dr. Timmermans, of Agnesian did!). My electrolytes were critically low, and the ED personnel discovered that quickly. After I was admitted to Agnesian, the gals and docs on 6 South were nothing short of miraculous, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Subsequent visits to Dr. Timmermans at Agnesian HC in Waupun discovered that meds the VA prescribed were reacting to my body chemistry. He (Dr. Timmermans) got me on a different medication that has helped immeasurably. Agnesian HC has set the bar quite high- IMHO- for other HC facilities ANYWHERE. Thank you, Agnesian, and I pray for all your personnel.

If you have any say I strongly urge you to consider seeking health care elsewhere. Their hospital & clinic billing systems are horrible & unfortunately the customer service billing staff is not properly trained. I get a statement & it is different from what they say I owe when I go in or call to make a payment. Each CSR I speak to including supervisors gives me a different answer as to why my balance is different & what my balance is. What to pay, what not to pay. Disregard that charge, its not accurate & ect. They blame things on insurance vs resolving errors. They failed to bill insurance for services & said it was taken care of multiple times - it was removed from my bill and I thought it was finally taken care of, but months later they added it back on. Im again told its fixed and that I do not owe. That same day I speak with someone else to double check and the next rep tells me the rep I spoke to earlier was wrong. I do owe these thousands of dollars and must pay immediately when in fact I really shouldnt because I was on Medicaid.Its not just the billing and customer service. Have had poor experiences with doctors and their support staff. Lots of miscommunications between nurses, receptionists and doctors. 2 different departments took over a week - one took 2 weeks to just call me back. I was told Id have surgery the same week as I was in into see the doc and Id be called to schedule that the next day. No call. I call in and cant get anywhere, someone will call me back. Days go by I call again, finally get to someone who tells me my doc who was performing my surgery was on vacation that whole week. Why no one else knew that and why I wasnt told that from the beginning or that I was still told he would be performing my surgery while he wasnt even there makes no sense. They got someone else to do it the next week. I missed a whole extra week of work because no one knew what was going on or was communicating. Theres so many more of examples of poor experiences weve had.Now dont get me wrong there are a few really good docs and nurses that weve encountered - Ive been going here for 10 years mainly out of convenience - but we just dont feel as a whole that Agnesian cares about more than making money at this point after our continued bad experiences & with no one stepping up to try to resolve things when they do mess up. Its sad because we want to support the FDL community and dont want to have to seek healthcare elsewhere, but the bad far outweighs the good when it comes to both Agnesian Regional Clinic and St. Agnes Hospital :(

I brought my daughter into the Waupun ER due to a fall. I just wanted her checked out to make sure she was OK. She was only 4 months old. The doctor checked her over and the nurse took her vitals. No x-rays or anything like that. The doctor simply told me to take her home for observation. Turns out she was just fine. They billed me $1,300!! How outrageous is that! My husband went to another ER when he accidentally put a drill thru his hand and they took X-rays and bandaged the wound. His bill $190. I was actually warned by a nurse to take her elsewhere, but because I was worried, I took her to the closest location. Never again!! Go to BDCH! Much better! Barb from billing was extremely rude. Short answers and very unfriendly. Didnt help matters.

I was diagnosed in November 2015 with tendonitis in my foot and put in a cam walker boot. It is now March and I have no relief whatsoever. I have seen a podiatrist from Agnesian who is less than helpful. He has referred me to an Orthotics doctor who has fitted me for orthotics. I can only hope that this will give me some relief. I am completely frustrated and in major pain and they wont give me anything or do anything. If I do not get relief from the orthotics - I will no longer be a patient of Agnesian Healthcare. I do have to say my physical therapist in Mayville is the only relief Ive had through this whole process. Bless her!!!

My vision has been blurring for the past month among other symptoms. I went in and had some bloodwork done. Got a call back being told that I was being referred to an endocrinologist. TWO WEEKS later, I finally get told they got me an appointment, but not until Dec. 23rd. I asked why I have to wait two months to be seen when my vision is blurring and that is a symptom of serious matters. Get told to go to the ER. I go to the ER, only to be scared with the possibility of brain cancer. Found out that wasnt it, thankfully, but get sent home with no answers, being told my dr office needed to follow up within a day. This was Oct 15th. I finally call end of the day on Oct 19th because I hadnt heard anything back. Get told that I will hear back from them Oct 22nd. I call the end of the day on the 22nd, because I havent heard anything, and after being on hold for a long time, get told they will call the endocrinologist and let me know what they say the following day. Today is Oct 28th and I am just now hearing back. They tell me I need to wait until Dec 23rd when I have my appointment because my symptoms arent anything serious. Thank you, Agnesian, for telling me its ok, your vision is blurring, and were not going to do anything about it for 2 months and let you DRIVE WITH YOUR VISION BLURRING.
