I appreciate this place for a couple reasons. They always seem to be working quickly and efficiently. When I bought my sons glasses the discount I got was a blessing. Very nice people. Kelly helped our family more than she understands. My kids are in awe of the very high ceilings in the lobby. Not one single regret going here.

I saw Cora and Ellis the most while in the lobby over the last few times stopping in. They were both very helpful and nice. Cora helped me find a few pairs glasses that was within my budget but still looked nice. Great experience overall.

I was seen promptly for my appointment. I thought I received a thorough exam with any concerns explained quite well to me. There is a nice selection of frames to choose from.

I really like Dr. Lau. She was very nice and very thorough. The girl who did my glasses was good too. She was even able to fix my moms crooked glasses after a guy there made them worse. Im just not sure I got the best deal, but at least my insurance covered the exam and some of the first pair. That helps. Ill definitely go back again.

My experience here was pretty good! At busier times the staff could be gruff but other times were very nice to me. My eyeglasses turned out great though and the prescription is spot on. I’d return for another exam in the future.

Ive been going to Shopko Optical for glasses for many years, and I always find them friendly and eager to help. On the down side, it did seem like a lot of people were waiting for long periods of time (including me). But I am happy with them, and plan to continue going there.

Went to this place because my eye doctor of over 20 years had just retired (Walmart). I have been wearing contacts since I was 18, and for the last 20 years have had the same brand of contacts in my eyes, which gave me zero problems. I requested the same brand on my new prescription, and the doctor here refused to change my prescription to these, insisting that they can only prescribe the brands they sell not to mention the price is DOUBLE what I was paying before. In the last year I have had multiple issues with these, resulting in eye infections and horrible irritation from these contacts. I hate them! but because this doctor refuses to prescribe the contacts Ive been wearing for 20 years, I am stuck with these until I can get a new prescription. Also, the glasses I got from them are terrible as well, they are like looking through a coke bottle! Will NEVER go here again!

Very friendly staff and helpful! Little wait and even double checked multiple glasses for a different color.

I had ordered progressive lens glasses. I was not happy with them - not Shopkos fault. They worked with me multiple times and changed them to single vision and also worked to get the prescription the way I wanted it.I so appreciate all their efforts in working with me! Great place and friendly staff! First time here and everyone was great! 1 male optician was very nice and accommodating and really knew what he was doing! I will definitely be coming back to this place for my eye care! I highly recommend this place

My daughter and I both had appointments today for eye exams. All the employees were so friendly, kind, and super helpful! They took all necessary precautions, cleaning, sanitizing, and werr just all around on top of theyre game! Very impressed! I definitely love the look of the new space as well for Shopko Optical, its so nice. Thanks for a great experience ladies, looking forward to receiving our new glasses!

The worst customer service i have experienced ever for an establishment dealing with patients!!! First off i have two insurance and they made me use one with a co pay and refused to take my second insurance which i wouldnt had a copay if i used It and shopko accepts. Then i had to wait a week just to pick my glasses up after they arrived at the office! Sadly i had to go back in to get my glasses readjusted after picking them up, as soon as i walked in the door instead of saying hi how may i help I have a worker yell at me saying your mask needs to be over your nose! I dont appreciate being spoke to that way mind you my mask was covering my nostrils of my nose!! If i could give this location a ZERO I WOULD!!! I will never go back to that location sadly i had better service at Walmart eye center!!! Shopko optical should of closed when the shopko store closed!!

Spent 150 on the eye exam just for the prescription to be wrong. Waste of money. Go to lens crafters

If youre looking for speed and efficiency and a happy face, this is not your place.

Great location. Great staf . Only thing is Im still waiting for my glasses it has been 3 weeks since I went and was told 7 to 10.days on my glasses it has been 21 days today.

Very nice people and good service

Needed an adjustment on my glasses and arrived at my appointment as scheduled. The tech came to my car and after a couple trips back inside to adjust my glasses I was off and running. I was pleased at the fast and efficient service.

My spouse had made an appointment to get her yearly eye exam over the phone, she was asked the normal information, name, phone number etc..,and if she has vision insurance, which she does, which is VSP. Fast forward a few weeks to the appointment, she arrives and is asked all the normal questions again, then gets the exam. Once the exam is over, she gets hit with a $70.00 bill, whoa, wait, we have VSP vision insurance and weve be coming here with the exact same insurance for years and normally pay a $40.00 copays. The receptionist says we dont except VSP anymore. So, a good business would have explained that beforehand, that way we could have taken out business elsewhere, instead they took our money and charged out vision insurance anyway as an out of network, which exhausted all of our benefits, the benefits that would have paid for her contact lenses. Shady, sloppy business, takes your money and tells you that youre S.O.L. NEVER AGAIN, RIP OFF

Recently purchased eye glasses and still costly...glasses alone were over $400 . They ordered sun glasses instead of automatic tinting glasses. They exchanged them out at minimal fee. I was disappointed when I asked them what it would cost to purchase these as a second pair. They attempted to mislead me that they would give me a deal for half price. When just around the corner, on a poster they offer second pair at half price. They actually toss the mistake and offered no deal. When I left, I felt agitated at their rudeness, trying to cover blunder theyd made. I think Id been better served at Walmart Vision Center.

The people working were courteous and professional, despite the fact that some of their coworkers didnt show up for work.It was busy, but everything was handled well.

Horrible customer service. I was simply trying to order a box of contacts. I was left on hold for over 20 minutes with no answer. I called back the following week. I was left on hold for 16 mins and then hung up on. I had to call back a third time. I finally got through to place my order. Needless to say I will be getting my prescription when picking up my contacts and taking my business elsewhere.

Very nice service. Stopped to get lens reinstalled. Knowing I hadnt purchased glasses here, I expected a cost. They did the repairs free and refitted my glasses.

Terrible Customer Service. If you call or stop in there is almost always a 20 minute or longer wait. No one will even acknowledge you. The reps are downright rude. They cant get orders entered correctly or follow up. Pretty sure Im waiting for them to correct my order for some contacts for going on a month now. They ordered the wrong kind and the manager had to refund and its been sitting on the managers desk for over a week...I used to love this place and they had great staff, that was maybe 4 years ago. Unfortunately its just all downhill and sadly I have a very small network for my insurance, so Im hoping the ShopKo in Kiel can prove to be more adept at doing their job and providing decent service.I have nothing good to say about FDL facilities Optical Dept.

Went in on Monday, with my safety glasses, and new prescription. The person that waited on me was obviously new, and very unfriendly.She said that my insurance company was closed, due to the 4th of July, on Tuesday, but, said she would call me back Thursday.Today is Friday, and I never got a phone call so I called them. After being shuffled around to different people, I was finally told that my lenses were ordered, but, it was going to be another 2 weeks before I got them back.No apologies.After going there for the last 15 years, they apparently made personnel changes, and their service sucks.

Not sure why some of the negative reviews but I have been coming here for years and service has always been good and courteous - sometimes they may be busy with customers and you might have to wait, but hey, what do you expect. And what other optical centers open before 9 AM ?

Been going here for years with my wife and kids. We have never had any problems and find their service be to good and friendly.

Over the last five years, this store has gone from okay to just plain sad. Their selection seems to be geared to some fictitious female homemaker (I say fictitious because the last few times Ive been in there I havent seen much of anyone shopping there--it looked like a ghost town). Their selection of clothing seems to be geared to the coutry-western crowd, although I dont see any of them in there ever, either. Theres a furniture section, but the furniture they sell is cheap, and looks it. (Angelas problem seems to be typical) I bet theyll be out of business entirely in another couple years, just from misreading their consumers. Too bad!

Went On a Friday late morning/early afternoon. Not enough people working. After I got out of exam room I waited at least a half hour to talk to a tech to order my glasses.

I will never come here again, period.
