Dr Dickson is absolutely wonderful. Hes treated my thumb with injections. Works perfectly now. So impressed Ive returned with a shoulder issue. Very conservatively treating with a top notch therapy group upstairs. If ya need an x-ray, just walk down the hall. Everything is so efficient. Even the artwork & decorations throughout area pleasing. Staffing has been phenomenal. Now I take my mother & father in law.

Diagnosis was immediate and accurate. Procedure performed quickly. I was constantly informed what surgical protocol was, no guessing. Aftercare was outstanding. Bonus points for knowing what my cost was without anything hidden.

I was extremely happy with Dr Dickson, his PA JR, his nurse, Stephanie. All of the people in the reception area. Also, the entire surgical staff. They have so many patients, but they make you feel as if you are the only one that is special!! I want to say thank you to them!!!

Getting an appointment was Easy. Very friendly staff. Very efficient in letting you know what will happen next in the appointment. Straightforward checking out process. Dr Dicksons PA was friendly and knowledgeable.

People were nice.But the computer page wouldnt advance so I had to answer personal healthquestions out loud in the lobby. Not a very big deal, but, you asked.The splint on top of my thumb didnt prevent my thumbs bending and snapping painfully as I dressed this morning so I reinserted the half popsicle stick along the side as I had with my homemade splint the weeks before my appt.I wasnt warned of possible side effects and got a headache almost as bad as caffeine withdrawal. I made a very strong cup of coffee. Finally, I googled steroid shot headache and there it was, in a long list of side effects. It lasted two days. Knowing that, the office should have called and checked on me, as some do, because I didnt expect a thing. I was given a leaflet on hand surgery, but it didnt say anything about steroids.Everyone was nice, as I said. The PA who gave me the shot was very amiable, and the shot wasnt as bad as I expected. The computer didnt bother me that much. The unexpected, two-day, 8-on-a-scale-of-10 headache did.

Well my first appointment went very well and I was impressed with the whole operation of the administration to the PA JR to the scheduler Keith …Dr. Dickson spent about 15 minutes with me explaining the procedure and he even took the time for small talk.. Seems like a well ran organization and we will see how the hand surgery goes in September.

I have always had such a great experience with Dr. Dickson & his team. He always takes the time to make sure youre comfortable & understand everything you need to - I never feel rushed! My family will always choose to go to Orthopedic Associates, my dad has seen multiple doctors at the practice and has always had a smooth & seamless experience!

Dr.Dickson is not personable and doesn’t seem to really care about the patient. Very eager to do surgery, I believe he does good work but leading up to that and spending time with a patient to understand what’s going on needs work. His team is the worst though and so is the office, multiple scheduling and billing issues and give you the run around! Search elsewhere and save yourself the trouble!

Dr. Dickson, JR, and Kelly are a great team. My diagnosis, treatment plan and procedure were well explained. There were no surprises!I have no reservations about using them for my 2nd procedure.

I broke my wrist doing a 10K in Florida. From the second I walked in, it was incredible service! I am now the bionic woman with a metal plate in my wrist. I would recommend this facility to anyone that has anything broken. From the front desk to the back to the associates, anesthesiologists , of course surgeon Dr Dixon. A+.

Needed a specialist for a difficult problem with my wifes hand that was undiagnosed elsewhere. As a physcian I asked my colleagues for their best recommendation. Everyone in the know pointed me in Dr Dicksons direction. He nailed it (literally, he put a very tiny nail in her tendon). Excellent treatment for a difficult problem.

Dr. Dickson did both elbows and wrists. He explained the procedures and did one hell of a job. Doesnt push you to do things not needed and recovery was minimal!

Doc is a “tea sip”. Had orange cast material but no maroon for Aggies or Fighting Farmers. Might be a bias there. Really good doc otherwise.

A couple years ago i had some pain with my thumb that had persisted for at least a year. After surgery i no longer have any resting pain in it and i would recommend Dr. Dickson to anyone.

Everyone at the surgery center was polite, efficient and very caring! Dr. Dickson did a great job!

These guys are great. Fast and easy to get an appointment, to see the doctor and get results.

Very bad experience. Elbow surgery performed by dr. Dickson. He didn’t follow the post operative care guidelines in his own brochure. When questioned regarding the lack of progress on healing and mobility and failure to follow the post op procedure, he became upset and suggested I follow up with a different surgeon. Horrible bedside manor. Surgery was corrected years later by a different Dallas surgeon.

If I could give a -5 star I would! Dr. Dickson and the doctor under him (Jose) do NOT care for your well being, if you healed correctly, in pain, ANYTHING. I had shoulder and hand surgery with Dr. Dickson. My hands came out great but not my shoulders. I followed everything with the healing process they provided (minus PT on my right shoulder due to not being able to afford it (obamacare)). They promised 6-8 months for full recovery.. Here I am over a year and recieve MORE pain now then before I went in for surgery. Ive seen them multiple times saying Im still in pain. I recieved more taunt, fustration, feeling unwanted in their office then anything else. Im forced to see another doctor (hopefully one that cares for their patients and does their job in full), get new MRIs, treatment and more then likely surgery on my shoulders. Wasting thousands of dollars and an entire year of my life getting no where but worse then I previously was. I recommend EVERYONE to stay clear of Dr. Dickson and find help elsewhere that treats their patients to the best of their ability. Im the patient, youre the doctor. Do you job 110%, not half ass.
