Ive been going to Dr. Gentles for about 8 years. Heres the bottom line: If you are looking for a dentist who will do a fine job cleaning your teeth every visit and not fish around for unnecessary fillings. Come here. Ive had my fair share of nonsense dentist who do unnecessary work I guess to make money ...get some practice drilling holes in teeth...who knows. Dr. Gentles is experienced and my visits are never negative like I remember back when I was a kid. I highly reccomend.

MALPRACTICE! DO NOT GO HERE!!! This negligent drug and alcohol addict did not take an Xray of my teeth on my 1st visit to him. I had a visible missing filling on #31 molar tooth. I asked him, So you dont take xrays here? His drunk reply was only if something jumps out at me and everything looks fine. Then he proceeded to have his ghetto hygienist lazily half clean my teeth. I knew my teeth were in worse shape than just a filling so I went to Peoples Health Clinic and they DID xray my teeth and it shown that my #31 molar had decay down to the nerve so it needs root canal or to be extracted but I need to take a week of antibiotics to kill infection before procedure. John Gentles missed all of this and would have filled a dead tooth because he was too lazy, drunk, high and negligent to have his equally incompetent lazy dental assistant do an Xray of my teeth. He couldve killed me. Im surprised he has never been sued for malpractice.
