Was pretty quick. I had a scheduled appointment though. I give three stars because most of the staff seemed less than interested in my concerns, and I feel like my initial reasons for having the appointment were just brushed off. They just seemed way more focused on having me tested for STDs than making sure the real reasons I came were met. I asked repeatedly about my concerns but I was told I needed to go see a doctor to get a diagnosis which completely defeated the purpose of going to see them. The entire visit seemed that a complete waste of my time! Take the bill and go to a REAL doctors office. This place with waste your time AND take your money.Ive also been struggling with the patient portal and cant get in contact with a single person to fix it. Which is even worse. The very least they could do is talk to me!

I had never recieved my approval for my pregnancy medicaid through the mail. I was told I could come down and use my photo ID and get a copy of my Medicaid paperwork so i could go to the doctor. I am 13 weeks pregnant and its been a real rodeo to say the least with these folks. I hate dealing with Lauderdale County Health Department, thats why I make a 40 minute drive to Cobert County.I walk in and the front desk clerk, older lady, BAD ATTITUDE . Sends me around the corner with zero direction . So I have to ask another lady how to go about getting this printed off piece of paper with a number on it. ( VERY SIMPLE TASK )She also acts as if I am a problem . And says you have to sign their clipboards and then knock on the door.After further investigation I notice the medicaid folks arent even in their office . Nor is there any clipboard to sign .SO HOW HARD IS IT, to say maam they are on lunch right now come back after 11 ?**So note it is 10:38 a.m. right now, and I decided to come wait in my car until 11 and write you the review you definitely deserve.This Health Department is rated 2 stars for a reason !!Thought I would give my 2 cents as well !!

When u need something and u call there is never anyone to help where u need help

The nurse practitioners are friendly but the employees at the front desk and who answer the phone are rude and always make for an unpleasant experience.
