Let me start off by saying I couldnt post this unless I gave atleast one star but If I had it my way they wouldnt have received any. TI thought this was a good agency but not. During the first day after my mom arrived home she noticed that no one was there with my brother. He is a brain injury victim that has to have 24 hour care . He is never left alone. I called my mom again just to make sure that that wasnt true. Again she stated no one was there . I called the office and it went to the voicemail. I called again and I pressed one to speak to the other side of the building. I spoke to a young lady who gave the phone to the receptionist from the home health side. I proceeded to tell her no one showed up to watch my brother for the 3 hours and that we wanted to cut our ties with them. She proceeded to say that she iddnt know what was going on and that she would call the aide. She also stated that he was a good aide. I waited for her call and finally she called back. She stated that the aides mother got sick and that he left a message on the office voice mail. She then proceeded to tell me that her voicemail wasnt showing a notification as to a message was left. I told her I understand that people get sick thats ok. My issue is that you guys dont have a replacement to fill when people are out. I again stressed to her that my brother cant do anything for himself and that he has to have someone watch him 24 hr. She proceeded to say do I want to give them another chance? I asked her how long had they been in business? She said 8 years. I told her they need to get their crap together because you are supposed to have somebody fill in when people are out or at least let the family know so they can make preparations. Again my brother has a real bad brain injury to where he is basically a child again. I told her he couldve burned down the house or anything then what? She also proceeded to say that they have some guy coming in tomorrow to fill out an application and he can be the alternate. Did you do a back ground check? The Aide that was sent to him was nice the company needs to learn better business practices. This place is unorganized and NOT DEPENDABLE. THEY DONT EVEN HAVE A WORKING VOICEMAIL. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN.
