I went with my 3 year old and he was well taken care of. We had to wait about 50 minutes to be seen after checking in but there were several people there when we arrived so we expected a long wait time. Once we were brought to the room, the nurse (Shelby - she was amazing) reviewed our info and made sure we were set before our wait for the doctor. The doctor came in shortly after and ordered some tests. We had X-ray done with results along with a covid test and RSV test all within an hour and half after we saw the doctor. Everyone was kind and patient. I would recommend this ER.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Took my daughter her who is 4 months old she hasn’t ate in 2 days, the most she has ate was 2 ounces and she keeps puking it up. She has a terrible cough and chokes on it to the point she pukes, super congested to where she can Hardly breathe, and a fever of 101. Sat in waiting room for a hour, finally got put in a room and waited hours for a nurse to come in and even greet us. I walked out to see why it’s taking so long, and all the nurses were in the nurse station talking and playing on their phones. Absolutely the worst place.

I came in with tachycardia and chest pain. they took my vitals, blood, etc. to tell me it will be 45 minutes to get back. 2 hours later i am still not back. there was an old lady in the room who could not stay conscious among other things, as though she was actually dying. another 15-30 mins pass by and nothing. if something were to seriously happen, they wouldn’t care. if they did not care about someone dying in the waiting room, they sure did not care about me. i left and went to children’s hospital where they provided much better care. do not go here.

If I could give this hospital zero stars, I would. This is genuinely the worst hospital Ive ever been to. Their incredibly rude and narcissistic. They leave you and dont check on you. Theyre completely insensitive and will just waste your time with absolutely no help or regard for your health. If you can go anywhere else, please do, do NOT choose this hospital.

This place is a JOKE of an ER! We are sitting inside, outside, and in our vehicles struggling to breath and the hospital doesnt even care. Ive had to leave TWICE because after hours of waiting, they dont see patients. How is this hospital still open?? Look at everyones review. Out of 25 reviews, you have not even TWO stars. How pathetic of a hospital. Theyll let you die before they see you in the ER.

This place is horrible they need to be shut down. I’m 15 weeks pregnant with chest pain and they had me waiting for over an hour to still not be seen. The RN at the window didn’t care about nothing being said basically they’ll call you when they ready. Now I see why people will go to Cincinnati to be treated or just suffer at home. This place is horrible. If you drive go past this place.

Came to the ER with chest pains, high blood pressure and breathing issues and Im still waiting over a hour later. My friend passed in this waiting room of a heart attack a few years ago omg!!! Wonder how much longer Ill be here!!!

They did an impeccable job. They were all kind to me and helped me get relief.

My experience with them was HORRIBLE, I took my daughter because she was vommiting & coughing excessively & they took her vitals & sent her on her way after waiting 3 hours to be seen. Left the hospital still coughing constantly, still in pain, & didn’t even give so much as a prescription. They also acted so annoyed at any question I had, as if it isn’t their job.

May have suggest if your sick and in pain . Do not go here. Please drive to cincinnati hospital. You will get better care ..This place is not the place to go if your sick and in pain. You will be better off going somewhere else and save yourself the hassle of having to go to another hospital after you go here anyways. This place is the worst and even the elderly folks at my church refuse to go here because they end up having to go to Christ or UC hospital after anyways . . So please I have been here and didnt know what was wrong until I was seen at UC hospital. After going here several times . I went to UC and within n 2 hours found out I had a PE that was causing my heart rate to go up high. This place kept asking about drugs if I was taking any to do this. Never done drugs in my life. Bit UC hospital figured it out and treated me . So just do yourself a favor and seek treatment else where

Horrible experience. Disorganized, everyone gave conflicting information, wrote down incorrect stats and weight in chart, when I called to complain about the care I received the manager cut me off and hung up on me. We switched from st e to christ hospital for our primary care and I wont ever use st Elizabeth again. No wonder they are trying to keep other health systems out of NKY. Appalled.

Very detailed plan of care, I went in the emergency room with Kidney Stones took no time to get seen and treated.

Due to being prescribed the incorrect medication (per my gp and specialist) at my time of discharge I now have more medical issues than what I initially went to the ER for. Multiple tests, medications and missed days of work due to the ERs mistake.

I called St. Elizabeth’s ER due to vomiting blood and being unable to contact my usual provider (closed on Saturday). The woman who answered the front desk didn’t say hello, she didn’t introduce herself, nor even state “St E”. She just sat on the phone waiting for me to say something first. When I told her about my vomiting she sounded incredibly irritated, like I was bothering her by calling the ER for vomiting blood. She said in the rudest tone possible, “It’s up to you if you come in”. I called for help, not to feel like a burden when in need. I’ll never attempt to get help from there again. Incredibly unprofessional and rude.

Saw Dr Geer at ER and it was horrible experience. He was rude, not compassionate at all. Have passed stones for 10 years and didn’t care about my treatment or how I was feeling. Acted like he knew how I felt- super arrogant. Will never seek care from St E again.

Called 911 with weakness, chest pains. They checked my heart which I knew was fine. But nothing else. I didnt even have an ID or allergy wrist band until a tech noticed shortly before they sent me home. Turns out I have bronchitis but no one thought to look for anything else. Been sick until I saw my PCP today and she took care of me. Would have been nice to have been treated on Saturday instead of being sick till today (Thursday). Quality and enough staff would help.

Way think nurses able treat get away with it and in car wreck way security treatment with truly lot pain.

I was visiting family in Northern Kentucky and broke my finger. When I went to the Florence ER I had x-rays taken and I was told I needed to follow up with an orthopedic doctor. I told the ER staff I would be returning home before the appointment. They said my doctor would be able to log in to the radiology portal. When my doctor told me that was not the case, I called back. After being passed from department to department I was told there is no way to transfer x-rays electronically. If I needed them urgently I would need to come pick them up. They also said either I should have asked for them or the ER should have provided them to me. I tried calling patient relations and had to leave a message. Ive yet to hear back.The service has been poor and I would not recommend St Elizabeth to anyone. Ive spoken with people in all sorts of departments and the corporate office and did not get the impression anyone cared.

I was there last night for my 4 year old son and the staff could not have been any more friendly or helpful. Thank-you to all of you!

Worst Er in town. If you get put in exam room 1 you get to hear the staff cutting up all night while they ignore your lived one. I even got to hear how much they hate people from Grant county. Then after 5 hours of waiting for my mother in law to be moved to the ICU I said something about the wait. I then got to hear them argue over who was going to come talk to me. I dont write reviews but I thought people should know. Drive 10 mins longer and get real care. This place is a joke

My husband fell through a floor doing demo at one of our flips last week and busted his head wide open. He had blood pouring down from his head to his shoes. It soaked through his hoodie, shirt, and t-shirt he had underneath- just to give an idea of the extent of the injury. Hes not one to seek out medical attention, so when he does, you know its serious. He stopped at the firehouse in crescent springs, which is down the street from the flip where hed gotten the injury. They cleaned him up, and after he declined a ride to the ER, they told him to go to this place ASAP. So he did. His face had been kind of cleaned up, and his head bandaged, but he was clearly dazed and still had blood covering his clothes and chin when he walked into the ER. So he gets there and they check him in, and hes sitting there for an hour while they saw FIVE other people who walked in after him.... Kid with a tummy ache and lady with a twisted ankle she was walking fine on were a couple of the ones who took priory. His mom and I met him here after hed been waiting an hour and were shocked when we walked in and they hadnt noticed him sitting there with his head wide open, covered in blood, and looking very dazed and confused. I immediately called Doctors Urgent Care down the street and asked if they could treat him. Once they said yes, we were out of there. We got to urgent care and they had several people waiting in the lobby, but when they saw him walk in, they didnt even let him sit down, they got him straight back to start fixing him up. He got stitched up and they found that he cut a nerve in his head and had a concussion. They couldnt believe this place had him sitting there that long without bringing him back. Posting a picture of the cleaned up version of the wound to show what this place overlooked. I shouldnt be surprised at this level of incompetence from this place. Its the same place that, years ago, sent my husbands brother home when he went in with what he didnt know at the time was a stroke. They thought hed been drinking, which he hadnt, but they sent him home anyway. Hes now pretty much paralyzed because of this. So if you have a real emergency, go to Doctors Urgent Care down the street. If you have tummy ache, this is definitely the place to go, cause thats apparetly all theyre able to treat.

Worse hospital in the world!!

The Emergency Room Staff talk more then attending to the people that need to be seen. Two hours in waiting room and three hours in a room for no one to come check on my kid. I wouldnt recommend or bring none of my family members back here.
