My dogs are better dogs because of Woofers and they are treated like family. I adore the staff and the facility is the best Ive ever seen. Really its unbelievable its in Florence...it seems like it would be in a huge city like Charlotte or Raleigh. Im so happy to be able to take my dogs here.

I got my golden retriever groomed here and I couldnt be happier with my experience! All the staff members are friendly and informative. They treated my dog like their own. I will definitely be going back!

I had an unexpected trip out of town and needed to board my west highland terrier, Okie Dokie. The ladies were so helpful, given the relatively short notice (and the holiday season). Upon arrival, I asked if he could be groomed while he was there. Again, the sweet ladies worked with me and made him look so suave and debonair. I cannot recommend this place enough for customer service, value, and overall hospitality. Woofers makes my dogs tail wag!

I started taking my dog to woofers about 3 months ago and cannot think of one negative thing to say. Olive loves everybody here and the moment we pass by Zaxbys she starts jumping for joy since she knows she is going to camp. If your dog loves other dogs this is the place for them to be.

Coming from someone who works with animals it is extremely important that anywhere my pets go, they are treated by the staff as if they were their own and that is exactly what Woofers did. My Lily girl absolutely loved it there and she came home smelling and looking great which is so hard to do because she just gets into anything and everything. Also, their grooming prices here are unbeatable and they are SO patient and understanding for first time pups getting groomed! I have four other dogs who are all short haired and I usually bathe them myself but seeing how happy my little Scottish Terrier was when I picked her up I may just start taking them too! Thank you for an awesome experience Woofers!

My dog Trouble loves going to daycare and sleepovers at Woofers. He loves swimming in the pool. It is hard for me to get out the door for work because he’s sitting by the door waiting and hoping I’m going to take him to see all his friends there. He especially loves Anna and Laura. We buy his dog food there too. At the end of the day, he is worn out! All the exercise he’s getting during the day makes him a better dog at home. Graycie loves daycare too. She falls asleep in the car on the way home because she plays hard all day. Both of them have participated in training classes there too. The Woofers team really go above and beyond - they travel all over the country to study training techniques from highly respected trainers. I feel so fortunate to have this facility in our hometown of Florence!

A 2nd home to my pups, Woofers staff is full of love and patience. Their passion for pets is undeniable. Thank you all for all you do and loving our babies!

Nothing but great things to say about Woofers. The entire staff is attentive, highly knowledgeable, and caring. They love our pup like he was their own. We regularly use the daycare services to give our rambunctious boy some exercise while we are at work. We also have had excellent service with grooming and with overnight stays. We never hesitate to leave our big guy in their care. Woofers is a gem in the Florence community. We won’t go anywhere else!

Woofer’s is the best place in town!! I trust them 100% with my girl and they seem to love her just as much as I do! My pup has been going there for over 5 years and she honestly would rather be there than at home! Woofers really is a gem to have here in Florence. The staff work so hard and really love the dogs! My girl comes almost every day for daycare, has been boarded, and she loves her spa days with April! I wouldn’t trust anyone else to care for her, especially after seeing how much she loves it. Every time she sees me getting in the car she’s ready to hop in too because she knows that normally means Woofers!

Ive worked in several kennels and spent a summer helping at Woofers. They are by far one of the best in the business. The staff are caring and put the health, safety, and comfort of the dogs first. The play and boarding areas are immaculately clean and the dogs are monitored very closely. The retail space offers some of the best products out there, and the staff are very knowledgable. I can be hard to please when it comes to leaving my dog, but Id leave him at Woofers in a heartbeat. I highly recommend them.

I have a 1 1/2 year old Golden Doodle who I was scared to get groomed for the longest time because I know their breed does not have the most cooperative hair. However, I finally took the chance and took my dog to Woofer’s after the good things I have heard about their grooming. They were super open to looking at pictures beforehand of what I liked and didn’t like. When I picked my dog up later that afternoon I was so happy to see that they did exactly what I asked! My pup and I could not be happier with our experience at Woofer’s! Thank you to the kind staff for all your help, we will be back!

The staff at Woofers are very professional, caring, and attentive to your pets. They have a huge play area for your dogs. In the play area theres a water spot for them to play in when its hot out.Thank you Woofers for taking care of our babies while we are away!

Do your research on Woofers. Funny how so many 5 star ratings have popped up in just the last month! Literally all of the 5 star ratings are from friends (and some family) of the owners in an attempt to drown the honest, earned poor ratings. I guess you get pretty desperate if you’re that rude to so many different customers :)

This place is the BEST. The staff is amazing, as is the facility, & all of the products sold there. My boxer has been going to Woofers for daycare since she was a puppy, and whether its for daycare, boarding, or a simple bath, there is nowhere else I would trust with my baby!

Rude, horrendous service from RUDE horrendous people! This place should be put out of business. Dogs have been HARMED here---and its just not worth the HUGE risk. There are two superior doggie places in Florence that rival Woofers in every sense of the way. If you care about your dog at all, go there instead! All of the positive reviews written about this place are clearly biased from friends & family.

Full disclosure: Im writing this review on behalf of my father, who isnt the best at using social media. Anyway, he brought his eight month old labradoodle in for a routine grooming. Admittedly she had some matting in her fur, but that shouldnt be an obstacle for a skilled groomer. At the very least they should have turned the dog away if it was too much for them to handle. To be honest if anything Im overstating the level of matting to be fair to Woofers. I dont leave this review for any reason other than to share my fathers experience and warn other dog owners. Im getting a little long winded here, but in the grooming process the dogs ears were damaged/cut multiple times. When my dad picked her up he didnt immediately notice anything sans her mood being a little down, which is understandable for any dog in a new place. Upon getting her home he noticed that she wouldnt stop shaking her head, and after further review he noticed that she had blood coming from the tips of her ears. After a day of seeing if it would get better he took her to the vet, where it was confirmed that her ears were cut and a skin infection had developed. She has pretty significant edema in her ears now. Shes absolutely miserable and continues to shake her ears, because well, shes a dog. After oral antibiotics shell be good as new. My dad called to let the groomers know what happened with her ears, and they blamed it on the matting of her fur. They blamed cutting a dogs ears on her matting and offered up no apologies. In fact, they said the groomer has 20 years of experience. Im not sure the name of the person he spoke with, because he didnt get it. He didnt really expect it to be an issue. He really just wanted them to know it happened and he was told theyll let the owner know. A day passed and he never heard from anybody about it. It really does upset me that they dont want to gather more information on a situation where an animal was harmed. They didnt even offer up a simple apology. I absolutely wouldnt trust one of my two pups with these folks.

Took my Cockapoo on 4/5/18 for a haircut, only took 3 hrs and she looks great, also price was reasonable. Everyone was very friendly, she will diffidently be back. Thank you Woofers

I cannot say a single bad things about Woofers. My dog, who I treat like my child, goes to daycare 2-3 times a week and always comes back exhausted (which is a sign that she played her little heart out and had a great time). I can tell the staff loves her, they always seem so excited when I bring her in. If she ever gets hurt because shes high energy and clumsy, they always let me know/send a note home and take good care of her. My dog has also boarded for a weekend and everything went great! I have done a training class here with Anna and I learned how to control my dogs energy and build a better relationship with her. Shes like a brand new dog after just one night a week for 5 weeks! I seriously love woofers and I know my dog does too!

Fantastic staff and all new kennels for the overnight dogs. Huge play areas with pools. Staff stays outside playing with the dogs. Grooming area is large as well.

Our pup loves it here she doesnt even have a hesitation about going in she barely lets me get her seat belt off before shes trying to get out of the car the staff is wonderful and they know our pup just by her face the only time shes sad is when its time to go home Id recommend it to any fur baby parent

We have carried our dog to Woofers nearly every day for 3 years and have used the boarding services numerous times. I can not praise them enough. The owners are always present and the employees seem to love my dog as much as we do. I am fully convinced he would rather be there than home a lot of days. I have no clue where the negative comments are coming from. This is the absolutely furthest thing from the experiences we have had. We will be customers for life. Thank you for all that you do for Abe and going above and beyond to accommodate us if we need to board him last minute.

I had a terrible (overpriced) experience. The grooming should have been an ordinary visit but this time my dog came home with what I would equate to razor burn and gouges all over multiple areas of her body. Her left ear was bleeding which I didn’t notice until I got home. I will be making a visit to the vet tomorrow to evaluate the damage Woofers has caused. I only hope there is no infection. Very disappointed in the quality of work and sorry I subjected my poor baby to this mistreatment. She won’t even let me touch her ears. I will not ever return.

A LITTLE FYI FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO MAY HAVE EVER BEEN INTERESTED IN USING WOOFERS GROOMING SERVICES:Highly disappointed and upset is an understatement! Spoke with a young lady on Thurs 5/2/19 in reference to pricing and the vaccines needed for my dog to get a full groom. She told me it would be $65 and that he would need the Dhhp, Rabies and Bordetella shots. I asked her if there was a waiting period for an animal to be groomed after having their shots and she said no. I asked her if I took him Saturday morning at 10am to the Caravan to get his shots done could they work him in. She asked me if that was the earliest times the caravan had, I told her it was. She then put me on hold and came back to the phone and said...If I could have my dog there by 11:00am they could go ahead and take him but that if I was going to be later then 11am I would need to call them. She then told me that I would get a reminder call the day before. I did indeed get a reminder call and after reviewing the voicemail Raven is the young lady I spoke with. On Saturday morning day of the appointment (Today) I called Woofers BEFORE 11am due to my GPS routing me in the wrong direction. What sounded like a middle aged lady picked up the phone and when I explained that I was having a hard time locating them for my appt she explained drop off was at 9am. I then told her of my conversation that I had with the lady on Thursday she again stated drop off was at 9am but she would go check with the groomer. After returning to the phone she again said the drop off was 9am and they cant fit him in today. I got up this morning took my dog to have the shots that most other groomers do not even request and even after I told her of my conversation with one of their employees they still did not try to do right. Im highly HIGHLY upset with their lack of professionalism! Thursday when I called the lady should HAVE NEVER told me it would be ok to bring him at 11am if they were not going to stand by that decision! I WILL NEVER use their services and had they of done right they would have had a loyal customer. Again, HIGHLY disappointed

I researched online before looking for where to take my puppy. In my opinion this place has the potential to be such a great doggie daycare but I will be honest and say there are a few things preventing that from being the case. The staff could really use some training in customer service. This is a service industry that relies on trust, so the customer shouldn’t feel like an inconvenience. I am a concerned pet owner (as many are) and the staff are condescending when you ask questions. Secondly, Woofers is wayy TOO expensive... nearly as much as my child’s daycare. Lol I will not be bringing my dog to Woofers

I was using Woofers, but their manager was extremely unprofessional and rude to me yesterday when I went to pick up the dogs. I had always asked that since I didn’t know what time I would get back from my motility clinic in Wake Forest due to a very serious medical problem requiring specialized care since visits can be kind of long and you never know what the results would be as far as further treatment with her staff and never had a problem before and they said it would be fine this time, too. So I got back yesterday and went to pick them up. When the front desk staff lady, who has always been pleasant, called her and told her Cappy and Quincy were ready to go, I hear her say into the phone, in an irritated voice, “They’re supposed to be here until Friday.” I just was thinking how rude that was and it made things kind of awkward as we waited and then she comes out and tells me next time, I need to let them know exactly or whatever because they lost $140 due to me picking them up yesterday rather than speaking privately with her staff to see if there might be a reason why. I called after leaving and found out this is the manager. It’s a shame because the rest of the people there are extremely nice, but this unprofessional, rude woman will never get any more of my business. When I tried to explain my situation, she immediately cut me off and would not let me explain, saying, “I understand.” No ma’am, if you can eat food and have the luxury of having your doctors near you certainly don’t understand.

Terrible , unkind , NON pet loving place. I was in work related travel from miami to Florence , SC. And I had my 1,5 old raterier with me. A sweetheart. I wanted to be watch while am at work, I contact the nearest place Woofers . I didnt carry with me his vaccine records. And Sence he is an indoor pet I never put the raves vacvine. In the middle of the working day the nastiest lady call me on the phone , telling me that she is calling animal services becouse Max does not have record of vaccines. I beg not to do that I was not aware I needed , and to place give a chance to correct the issue as soon as done at work and I pick up Max Ill take him to the nearest vet and take care of it. Please dont do that is my boys dog , we love him very much.To my surprise the lady just keep yelling and treatning to call and give the dog away .Her words I dont care , the gig needs to have the records to be here, if in 15 min I dont get this they will come and pick him upI got to call the Sheriff, animal services and letting them know what this lady was duing.Thanks to rest of King animal loving people I have Max , and she was stopped from giving my dog away , after she accepted the puppy in the am not advising me about this. And taking my $.Worse person. Definitely needs to change jobs. NOT a fit
