Very friendly staff in the drive thru clinic outside. They’ve always been polite and informative. And it usually doesn’t take long at all. Highly recommend.

If ZERO had been an option, it is what I would have chosen...Our daughter in law took our son there 9/5/21 for sinus infection symptoms, no fever and was refused service bc he might have COVID🤦‍♀️..He does NOT have COVID!...They found another urgent care, they were very kind, treated him with two shots, and a rx and he is feeling much better today... #itsNOT ALWAYScovid #hesallergictoearth

Why is it that when your back locks up and you’re in so much pain you can’t put your boots on or get in and out of your car that they charge you for seeing a doctor but only hand you off to a nurse practitioner who “can’t prescribe pain medication” I have never had any problems with pain medication and never will. I’ve been a few times in the last 7 years I’ve lived in Florence and they’ve always given me a shot and a prescription for flexoril, steroids and a few pain killers. I’m not going to waste my time with these places anymore. Thanks for nothing med plus.

I was in and out within an hour. I saw Dr. Lee and she was very welcoming and warm. I usually come here at least once a year. I’ve never had a bad experience.

Run, don’t walk, away from here! They never answer the phone. Front desk staff is horrible they don’t wear masks, and they refused to let me see my primary care provider they sent me to the ER , which the ER told me I should have gone to a primary care provider. They sent me away because it was a Friday and I was an inconvenience. The floors are filthy and it is clear they do not clean. I just left and there was blood on the floor in my exam room!!!!! The PA was very nice, but overall a terrible clinic I will not go back.

I have lived in Florence my whole life and it’s sad to see a doctors office like this. They have the WORST customer service and I mean the WORST. Every time I call, they have a terrible attitude. This is the reason I would rather go somewhere else to visit the doctor. The people at the desk are rude in person and over the phone. They hardly pickup the phone when I do call. I have to call 2-3 times for them to even answer. Not to mention I called last night to get antibody tested and they told me to come up there and they would, but when I drove 30 minutes to get there they told me they couldn’t test me and told me to come back at 7am. They did not close for another hour at that time, so the fact that they couldn’t draw my blood is ridiculous. It frustrates me and if anyone is trying to get tested for covid or visit a doctor in Florence, go somewhere else. Med Plus is not a friendly environment and they do not treat patients nicely. If you work at med plus.. do better.

The staff and physicians here do not care about their patients. They are the most incompetent people I’ve ever had to deal with. Speaking with Brandi the physician after what happened earlier. Hoping to get a resolution but instead. She has no regard for her patients and defends the incompetence of her staff.They will kill someone if they already haven’t and they will feel no remorse whatsoever. Do not go here if you have the choice!

I get a different Dr. every time I visit, Ive been back to back, most of them really dont know what theyre doing, every time I go back Im getting told something completely different.I wish they would do x-ray, blood work because I feel like I wouldnt have to go back still sick with the same thing over and over, theyd prescribe me meds and then Ill be back sick with the same thing in about 2 months, its like theyre Dr.s in training and dont know what theyre doing.Even my sister went, she was still sick after they gave her meds so she had to make another appointment (and pay) and get different meds and shes STILL sick!Im just going to find a real Dr. else where, its not worth it staying sick and wasting money on their service if they dont know what theyre talking about, none of them!And all of the ladies in the back have nasty attitudes (the ones that write down your info and check your weight)They also wouldnt give me a temporary refill on my diabetic medication until I found a real Dr., so it was pointless and the bills they sent you are so high!!

Linda Lee is the best doctor I have ever seen! She listens, is empathetic and knows just how to help. She is obviously very intelligent and is the best at helping you feel your best. I strongly recommend her to anyone that feels they aren’t heard or is needing help medically.

Walk in and out quickly.

Ive always had a few Dr.s that misdiagnosed me with the wrong thing or dont know what theyre doing.They charge you with such high prices and never go into details on what the charges are, its very suspicious and when you dont have the money to pay, youre not allowed to be a customer again, weird, other places just let you pay when you return without threatening you.

Ive been going here for years and always paid my bills but recently received a threatening letter (during these awful times with the corona where people are losing jobs and have no income by the way!) that claims this is their 3rd time sending me a notice (its not! its the 1st) and that if I dont pay the high amount that I cant afford right now, that Im no longer able to come back and they will send it to collections.What a great way to treat your long time paying customers, Im never going back to Med Plus, its time for me to find a permanent primary care Dr. anyway.

Brandi Ray is wonderful she has been truly a lifesaver for my family and even my sister family. She is so awesome!! All the doctors are great and truly care. And also the best nurse in the world Alli works there and my son wont get a shot from anyone else! Lol they are all great!!!

I would like to thank the MD who was working the evening of 1/23/20. My son needed stitches. She was very compassionate to him and to me. She listened and even hugged both of us. There is more to this story that I don’t want to share publicly, but let’s just say she was a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on when we needed one. She could have just stitched it up and sent us home. But she took the time to connect with us. She made a true difference in our lives that night. We won’t forget. Thank you.

Doctor Ferguson is fantastic. Always professional and explains everything thoroughly. Sometimes it’s a little bit of a wait but not often. Worth the wait if they are busy

This review is a follow-up of my visit to this unpleasant establishment. Where do I start with the utter inconvenience of a visit this has been? The phone call: I decided that I would attempt to book an appointment (like a normal human being) and avoid wasting half of my day to be treated for a basic clinical diagnosis. This business doesn’t take appointments for some reason (because they’re stuck in a 1900’s complacency mentality). Thereafter, I walked into the waiting room and there were only 3 visitors in total (including myself). No surprise there, given the fact that this place is a nightmare. I was rudely informed that I needed to fill out administrative work regarding my visit, and I asked if they already had my file (since I have been here before). They continued to explain that my file was old (it wasn’t) and I needed to update information (not true). Around 1 hour later I was informed that INFORMATION was finalized. At this point, I was the only patient waiting for treatment. After a few more minutes of waiting I was finally called into the Patient’s Entrance. Wow, the holy grail of treating a cold/sinus infection has finally gotten prepared to tell me I need a Z-pack. The doctor proceeded to ask me the same 4 questions 3 separate times. They were rude, they were slow, and they didn’t respect me or my time.

Came in with a severe sinus infection. Went to another clinic the week before and they told me to go home and sweat it out. By the time I reached med plus, I was in serious pain and could barely talk. Everyone was very friendly and didnt waste a bunch of my time asking irrelevant questions. Dr. Grutzik was very thorough and friendly. Was starting to feel better within a few hours. My hats off to Dr. Grutzik and med plus. Job well done 👍.

In and out very quick. I was very impressed with reception staff. They were quick and professional. The nurse and nurse practitioner was very quick, thorough and professional. I was in and out in alittle over 20 minutes. Thank you. So much

Brandi Ray is the Nurse Practitioner for General Family Practice there and she is a literal life saver. She is the utmost kind and caring and genuine medical professional Ive ever worked with. She takes the time to really listen and address all my concerns no matter how big or small. And when Im sick she works me in and has even stayed late to see me. If your looking for a Family Medical Provider shes your woman. I am so thankful for her and her guidance.

Every time Ive been here Ive been welcomed with open arms. Doctors and nurses are always sympathetic to my needs. They consistently listen to, and consider my symptoms, and take me seriously. 5/5 Would recommend to everyone.

I had a very fast visit and the administrative ladies were wonderful. However, the doctor was talking over me and didnt seem interested in hearing what I had to say. Seemed more like he was ready to get me out than give me an accurate diagnosis.All in all it was an okay experience.

Dr. Lee was absolutely amazing with our five year old! It’s so nice to have a kind doctor, who truly loves their work! It makes all the difference!

Dr Lee is great, willing to listen to your concerns. Always a good feeling when seen here. Nurse practitioner and nurses here are great as well.

Slowest doctors office I’ve ever been to. It’s not particularly clean, and when I was getting an IV the woman sticking me did not wear gloves and had sparkly long nails. I have never been to a medical establishment that allows employees to have nails. They were rude and dismissed almost everything I said about my own symptoms and body. I will not be coming back, I don’t recommend others be treated here, either.

Ive been using Med Plus since the mid to late 80s. Alway great care. Ive received no-nonsense advice, and exceptional care at reasonable cost every time. Much thanks to the doctors and staff.

I had to go in today because of a fall I had, resulting in a shoulder injury today. I had to wait a little over an hour (its flu season, so thats to be expected) before I got in. One thing that really left a good impression with me was that the receptionist made note that I wasnt sick and pulled me over to another waiting room away from everyone that was showing cold and flu symptoms...I greatly appreciated that, since Im a germaphobe and have health related anxiety issues.Dr. Lee is amazing! She has such a bright personality and shes very wise. She was aware I dont have insurance, so she made sure to check my injury to make sure I didnt need an X-ray, so I wouldnt spend the unnecessary money if I didnt have to.She sat and talked about some personal issues with me and took the time to show me some exercises I could do for my arm and even some breathing techniques I could do for my anxiety issues. Shes a great doctor.Even though Im sore and hurting, it was still a really good doctors visit...and I say that as someone who is terrified of going to the doctors office.

Dr.Lee is one of the best physicians i’ve been too, she is great. Took awhile to get back there though.

Not the same without Good ol dr Ferguson around as much. He is truly best doc we have had. but new staff has really made improvements still go there when needed.

Receptionist in this awful establishment was so unprofessional and very rude! Basically started laughing when telling me they couldn’t process my payment method tonight, due to nobody there to process it. I will never go back and she needs to loose her job.

I would never return to this walk in clinic. I have never felt so disrespected and dealt with such rude people in a professional setting. I would never suggest this place to anyone. After waiting for 30 minutes to see a doctor, they ask me to leave and come back tomorrow because it was after hours (they closed at 8 pm and I was there with all paperwork completed by 7:40.) Not impressed with a doctors office thats so rude.

This clinic should be closed, and if they continue on the way they are, they will be very soon. Be forewarned that this tacky little Walk-in Clinic refuses to see patients who are 65+. And I do mean AT ALL. They will not tell you that until they see your insurance card; then they will pretend it is because they do not see Medicare patients/take Medicare. When I pulled out a credit card (a rather upscale one.... ) and offered to pay for the visit then and there and lets forget about Medicare, the little bozo-ette at the window just kept saying, Its not my fault, it is just the policy. Well, of course it is not your fault, little Bozo-ette, nothing ever is with flunkies like you. I eagerly await, soon, reading in the paper that due to a monstrous lawsuit over ageism, that MedPlus has had to close. Given other reviews of this nasty little place, they will have to close over a lot of things. Please post if you ever see a sign in there that says, We do not treat Black patients, or No Hispanics allowed.

After my visit I called and left message for the Nurse Practitioner to call me back and she didnt. And it was about the prescription she gave me. I will not be back to see her.

The doctors are more than professional & kind .
