Professional, Straightforward, Organized business. Before I arrived I had already had two dentist tell me what I needed. So you need to know what you need when you go there. Thankfully I did or would of been unsure but when the dentist at Sexton dental had similar evaluation I knew it was right decision for me. If it is your first time having serious dental treatment I wouldnt necessarily recommend this clinic. Not because it is bad but because it is large volume and you may need more in-depth personal attention treatment . I drove from Atlanta, Georgia and still paid less than I would have at Affordable Dentures. Plus I was lucky and before 3pm today I received my upper partial denture. I tend to assume the worst so was pleasantly surprised with the service and quality Sexton dental provided today.Thanks

On September 20, 2021 I went back to Sexton Dental Clinic to replace my immature dentures for the permanent dentures. That they made for me. I got the permanent dentures( signature) they supposed to be the best. They fitted really good but they looked horrible. The teeth feels like sandpaper.You would think since they have less patients now because of Covid-19 they shouldn’t have to rush. They make you sign the form about NO REFUNDS before you have the service done. But I hope I can get another appointment so they can do something with these dentures. They are a mess!!

Highly recommended for anyone needing dentures, this place provides great quality dentures for extremely low prices. Temporary dentures are easy to get here with no fuss. Takes all day so be prepared to shop around town while youre waiting, if youre in need of same day dentures this is where u should go. I had a scheduled appt.on 8-20-21 and would like to share my experience. Even though I arrived at 530 am, the services I received were well worth the wait. I was made to feel important to staff and felt most comfortable with the procedure I received. I noticed that the staff were very lighthearted and seemed to enjoy their jobs, from the receptionist to the dentist and dental technicians. Was there a long wait? Yes it was(about 8 hours). Was I pleased with my new smile? Yes indeed. I should also mention the cost for dental services could not beat anywhere. I drove nearly 4 hours to get to Sexton Dental but I can truthfully say that the trip was well worth my time and money. My suggestion to others would be to arrive early, follow the directions given by staff and have a positive attitude. Thanks again to all the staff at Sexton Dental. You guys rock!!

I have had dentures for years. Ive had 2 different sets and this makes my 3rd. These are the worst I have ever had and it cost me 750.00. Id been better off adding money to that and went some other place.

By far the worst experience everAfter being told to arrive the next day at 7 in the morningI was unable to be found any record of the next morning so I ended up waiting until 9 a.m.When I finally got my tooth extractedI wasnt given any instructions afterward and only thing was to dont smoke or drink anything hot for 24 hours I was not giving any antibiotic or pain reliever of any kind Mind you I have a heart condition that required my mitrovale to be repaced. After the anesthesia wore off that day I was in excruciating pain And face swollen like a balloon Had to go to the ER where they finally gave me antibiotics I tried to get in contact with them and which I could not left a message and no one has returned my call to this day

I’ve been to Sexton dental clinic over the past several years (approximately 8 to 10) I have had partials (upper and lower) done. Anyone who wears dentures knows that it is not the most comfortable position to be in (You really don’t want people looking in your mouth and poking around). You feel really vulnerable and embarrassed (to say the least) about the condition of your mouth. I really wish the assistant could follow the patient all the way through the process (it would make the patient feel more comfortable). Recently I visited Sexton Dental Clinic on May 27, 2021 and I had an incredible experience. I had x-rays done and a consultation and needed three extractions and an upper and lower partial plate. I’d like to thank the x-ray technician for her kindness. I’d like to thank the dentist for extracting my teeth quickly with very minimal pain and his pleasant attitude ( Please accept my apologies for not getting your names). I’d like to thank Dr. Green for his patience, attention to detail, and his dedication to providing excellent service with a smile. Last (certainly not least) I would like to thank Connie for her warm personality and compassion for listening and providing the necessary adjustments. Thank you all for giving me a great smile!! Answered the phone quickly when called, was able to get a quote over the phone and make an appointment quickly. When I arrived I was brought right up everyone was friendly and nice, only waited for a short time and was brought back for X-rays, and they started my root canal and finished quickly! I paid exactly what I was quoted on the phone. Really happy, worth the hour and a half drive! I had Dr. terry, he was great and quick.

I travelled to sexton dental clinic to get bridgework corrected. During my visit, Dr. Terry recommended removal of all of my teeth and a set of dentures. Glad I went and got a second opinion from a local dental center because full mouth extractions are not needed and, I was advised to get a root canal and two (that’s right TWO!) extractions.The staff at sexton is rushing you and just trying to get you in and out, and very unfriendly.When I called to get my records transferred the staff answering the phones were down right mean and barely let you speak.It’s seems like they don’t care about their patients, but just making money. Definitely do not recommend coming here.

I want to say thank you to Dr. Green, Dr. Scott and everyone that works there. From beginning to end of getting 3 teeth pulled and a partial, my experience there was wonderful. I am so thankful to have my smile back. I highly recommend Sextons for your dental needs. Everyone there was very nice and helpful.

1. Rude!!!!!2. They WILL NOT work on you if your nervous or upset.( they threatened to refuse service because of my anxiety)I was shaking and crying3.They won’t do sedation unless they deem it fit! Even if you request it. ( YES, I begged them)4. Most of the nurses are uncaring and only there for a paycheck5.you get the services that the dentist decides for you, I wanted a full plate on top and he refused. They won’t pull teeth they decide are “healthy”6. Patient Advocate just wants your money (She’s not there to advocate for anyone except her paycheck)Now I could keep going but let me just say this; I was made to feel like less than a person by almost everyone who works there. I did get my partials the same day, right after the removal of what was supposed to be ten teeth they shoved my partials on my bleeding sensitive gums , the front teeth are tiny and are held in by a glob of acrylic which my lip gets stuck to when I smile. I left there defeated, sad and in pain. I will NEVER SEND ANYONE I LOVE TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!There were two positive things that came out of this whole ordeal;1. ONE nurse that works there showed me compassion and told me before I left she was proud of me for getting through this. SHE is an ANGEL and most likely underutilized by this place! She is way to kind to be working there!2. I met other amazing patients, who had also been terrorized by these people (we still keep in touch). I brought my friend at 5:30am for a RESERVED APPOINTMENT at 6:00am. Little did I know that at least 30 other people were also reserved for that time. (Supposedly the Reservations were to help us maintain safe Covid distances, but in all reality, we were herded in like cattle.)The Ladies were kind and did quickly ask the appropriate Covid questions, and check our temperatures.From there, though, the experience only got worse. My friend needed replacement dentures on the top, and a number of teeth pulled on the bottom. She FIRMLY REQUESTED all those teeth be pulled and a full set of dentures be made for the bottom as well. After an X-ray, the doctor decided he would leave her two eye teeth (which markedly lean inward) and create a partial denture, which now doesnt match AT ALL.On top of that, the doctor used 5 shots ((which she felt all of... And 2 shots (which didnt numb her pain sufficiently) and left cuts and holes in her gums!)).She still wants the eye teeth pulled and a full set of bottom dentures made, but REFUSES to return to SEXTON DENTAL CLINIC in Florence, SC. We were there from 5:30am until 4:00pm, and this was our experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS PLACE TO GET DENTURES IF YOU CAN AFFORD ANYWHERE ELSE!

Would give 0 stars if could. I was told literally almost 20 times we can extract your wisdom teeth and I wait for 6 hours whenever I set up an appointment and was on time for it. I take an x ray get back there the dentist is super rude looks at me says we can’t help you and then just LEAVES. AFTER I WAS TOLD AS LMIST 20 TIMES YES WE CAN EXTRACT YOUR WISDOM TEETH. They made me pay $100 for absolutely NOTHING.

I went here to possibly get a partial and teeth pulled this week. Dr. Scott was excellent...didnt feel a thing!!! The lab techs did a great job with color and fit! My whole experience from the receptionist to end of visit was great! Highly recommend them and Dr. Scott.

The absolute WORST experience EVER at any dentist in my entire life. A total nightmare! The dentist was So rough, and joking about it! It was such a traumatic experience, I will Never Ever EVER go back here for any reason, Ill go to my grave with messed up teeth before he Ever touches me again. As someone else said, just because youre cheap it does NOT give you the right to treat people badly! I will never forget how hateful you were about it, laughing as you stabbed my mouth in a poor attempt to numb me, while joking because the chair was moving and me squirming from pain in your words made it challenging and fun trying to hit a moving target and you liked it like that! And still didnt numb the tooth you crushed with your little tool, the tooth that I asked to be FIXED not pulled. And there are still pieces of tooth in my gum a month later. If you arent terrified of dentists before going here, you definitely will be after!

I got 22 teeth pulled under IV sedation.. Dr. Clark was very thorough on explaining my risks.. He broke it down so I could really understand. Hes a very well educated man and that alone made me more comfortable with the whole situation. As for his nurse I think her name was Tracy or Tammy. She was absolutely wonderful. Dr. Clark and his nurse made my experience very comfortable .. As comfy as u can get wen getting that many teeth pulled at once.. As for The sedation Doctor Dr. Allen he was very good too.. He may be a bit older then some but that doesnt knock his knowledge on what hes there to do.. He broke things dwn for me to help ease my mind .. All in all in very happy w sexton . and the ladies at reception desk on 2nd floor are great to.. They helped get me in quickly.. As in days .. I went, got looked at and the next day went bk n got the wrk.. That was fabulous.. Thank u sexton.. thanks Dr. Clark and your team..

I’m writing this review for my mom. She went to get her teeth pulled and when she screamed because the dentist was hurting her, he told her to shut up. I definitely don’t appreciate this. DO NOT COME TO THIS DENTIST OFFICE!!!

We got there around5am, in at 6. Wife had 14 teeth removed and fitted for partials. I havent seen her beautiful smile in almost 9 years and today I cried tears of joy when she walked out and I saw the pure joy on her face. Thank you all so much. I would like to say thanks to sexton Dental clinic..let me tell you a little about myself..I have some health problems for the last 10 years and it made my teeth go bad so every ladys know self conscious we all have when it comes to our teeth and hair ..I would not go to a dentist because I am so scared of needles.. I finally told myself I need to do this and stop hiding my smile..I would not smile in our family pictures and when around people i would put my hand over my mouth when things was funny.. Sexton dental sent me to dentist to dentist in their building and they never even did anything but they got their $450 so if I were you I would not ever go here

My husband was scheduled for extractions. The morning started with X-rays. Dr Clark immediately spotted an area of concern on the X-ray, cancelled the extractions and referred us to an oral surgeon. I’m grateful for Dr Clark’s keen eye, and professional integrity. He also took time to sit down with a copy of the X-ray and make his concerns very clear. If all goes well with the oral surgeon, we will be back requesting to see Dr Clark specifically.

Had upper dentures made on 7-6-21 paid for the signature dentures that were suppose to be their best option finally were finished around 4 that afternoon and seemed to be rushed during fitting teeth are rough like sandpaper should have been polished not straight at all sit unlevel and from comparison between them and my original ones they made a year ago are all the same materials and look even more fake then the cheapest set they have don’t see where the extra money went not satisfied at all

Dont know who the Elderly Dentist is, and dont really care..He was Rude ..Not to mention I never saw his Face...He had is back turned to me for the 30 seconds I was in the examination room..Never said HI or Goodbye...cost $170 and cant even tell you what he looks like..

I had to take a friend to Sexton Dental Clinic, to have all their teeth removed, and dentures applied. The price was pretty good ($85/tooth removal), but what I want to talk about is the required driver (me). While I was not allowed to leave or travel around the town, Sexton does NOT provide WiFi (even password protected) in their office. You cannot leave, other than maybe smoke outside. Food vending machines were limited, and I think were for office personnel only? (This is during COVID times). The preparation for support people is mediocre (here is your friend ... stay with them while they get dentures fitted...) ... they did, however, have a local pharmacy about a mile away they recommended, and the painkillers and antibiotics totalled

Today May 17th, 2021 I had the most magnificent experience.. recently I’d gone to a dentist in my town of Sumter SC because I’d broken a tooth and my teeth weren’t in the greatest shape because I’m petrified of needles. I was expected to make a rush decision on the spot to have all my upper teeth pulled out and replaced with dentures.. I told the dentist I needed to sleep on it because I wasn’t ready to have all my upper teeth pulled. She was so rude and condescending towards me.. I knew I had a cavity or two, but all of them? I decided to go to Sexton where I’ve heard praises since I was a teen. I’m 65. From the moment my temperature was taken I was in awe at how polite, professional and understanding everyone was. The X-ray tech, the dental assts, the guy with the grey hair that checked my teeth and explained to me what needed to be done, the lady that makes the first impressions, the lady that takes the second impressions, the cashier, the dentist who pulled my 3 teeth, the lady who knew exactly what shade tooth I needed to match my teeth, the lady who fitted the partials, the dentist that came in to make sure nothing was ill fitting...And the girl in training at the B window was so polite, I thought she was training the young lady next to her. I thanked her for being kind so early in the morning as I was so nervous of what was gonna happen. After xrays and consultation I only need a upper partial and 3 teeth pulled! I was super relaxed that I decided to get a much needed bottom partial! THESE FOLKS DESERVE OSCARS FOR THEIR PERFORMANCES. I sent pics to everybody. Four of my friends are calling in tomorrow to make reservations!!! I thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! Thank you for not pulling out perfect healthy teeth!!! My husband fell head first into the concrete. He lost his top teeth. I couldnt go in because of Covid restrictions, so I dont know which dentist he saw. But he said Marie Jeffords was the best! He said Marie is very professional and made him feel at ease. Thank you so much Marie Jeffords! He quit smiling for family pictures because of his mouth. My husband smiles now for pictures! Everything was great. Got their around 9, found out they accept medicaid, got me to the back quickly. But the dentist that performed my extractions did a terrible job. Maybe because he was old and it was a difficult extraction but he left broken tooth particles in my gum and snitched over it. He poked holes in my gums and chipped my back tooth. Be careful about quick fix places like this, they can be careless. Im having more issues and pain because of the terrible rush job this dentist performed. Im pretty sure I signed forms releasing them from any liability

Made the trip from Florida after recommendations from several family and friends, during our first trip my husband had teeth extracted and upper dentures made. The dentures fit so poorly that they cut into the gum. We made a second trip 6 weeks later to have the dentures fixed, they trimmed the front but the dentures still didnt fit correctly so a third trip was planned only to be told the day before leaving Florida that there was no record of the appointment we made. So now here we are having to talk to different dentists to get the teeth remade after $1300, 2000 miles plus hotel room for each visit, missed days from work and my husbands teeth dont fit, arent sharp enough to bite through even a bologna sandwich.Live and learn but DONT visit. They dont stand behind or fix what they dont do correctly.

Weve had the worst experience at Sexton dental in Florence South Carolina. My grandmother was given a 6 am appointment ! She was not seen until 11am. We sat for so long other patients were wetting their pants. The receptionist is completely unprofessional (Mrs Huggins)! I can go on about how rude she was. The wait here is unbearable and unbelievable.This is our first and last time here.

A close friend told me about Sexton Clinic 21 years ago. So I went and had 9 teeth pulled and a complete upper made in the year 2000. My recollection was nothing short of professional. Excellent work at a very affordable price with doctors and staff totally committed to your needs and smiles. I am still smiling with those same dentures today. On Friday Feb 26th, I needed the lower teeth situation address. More teeth pulled and a lower denture made. However a young Dr, not sure of his name, but he was former US Airforce dentist who gave me options. He advised me like I was a member of his own family. I listened and will take his recommendation. I had a broken tooth extracted by Dr. Ben Jordan that same day. Nothing but professional and caring and Dr. Ben Jordan had me on my feet feeling pretty darn good in no time.I especially want to mention Rhonda Johnson who is a medical staff or dental assistant at the clinic. She was the first person I met at 0600 in the morning, and the last person I seen when I was all done. The skill in her organizing the patients waiting in line was totally professional and something we dont see too often these days. She guided me and stayed with me through the whole process while also tending to other patients needs. A genuine person who really cared and showed it from start to finish. The pretty lady at the reception desk who first took my ID and form to fill out, to the lady sitting behind window C who were very pleasant, kind and caring, to the pretty lady who took my payment, everyone in that clinic in my opinion were TOP NOTCH and showed a genuine concern for your well being. For those of you who write bad reviews are people sitting on a park bench complaining the birds are chirping too loud. Theyre just being happy and you wont ever see it.

Wondered why they wont do my fillings or my husbands until we had a cleaning? I found out. Just week ago got dentures and X rays and said I needed 2 fillings. Went in and had them cleaned and now I need 5 fillings. They want at least 120.00 per filling. I just spent over 1000.00 on dentures. They charged me 2 $15.00 infection control fees because I sat in 2 diff chairs. I guess cleaning a chair is new to them. I only have 6 teeth left and they want over 600.00 more now. This is insane.

Accompanied a relative to an appointment here. Most of the staff members were pleasant and everyone was very professional. My relative went in for an upper partial denture and everything was completed in the same day. I was very impressed with how smooth and swift the process was. The cost was reasonable and the outcome exceeded our expectations.

I really wish i could say I had a great experience especially after driving 4 hours to sexton dental I mean over all everyone who worked here was very nice I was rushed through the process though I did expect that it would take all day and it pretty much did and that was with them rushing us all like cattle lol and I was pleased until I wasn’t listened to by the woman who fitted my dentures and as a result I look like mr Ed the talking horse and my dentures are painful to wear I paid for the signature dentures but I should have just got the basic set cause I honestly feel like it was a waste of time and money I am a 35 year old woman and it really was important to me and my family to get this done I had health issues that messed up my teeth I lost most of them and then had the rest on top pulled and I have waited for that day for many years all I wanted was to be able to smile again and the fact that I can’t really breaks my heart but it’s ok I will get it figured out and hopefully I’ll come across someone who will actually listen to my concerns what’s really messed up tho is I was going to get implants here if they did a good job on my dentures I guess I should add that the upper full denture is the one I am disgusted with they did a okay job on my bottom partial I really hope when I go back to get it adjusted that they will actually pay attention to what I need I understand that they see a lot of people in a day but that’s not an excuse to do a poor job because This was a big deal to my family and myself with the help of my kids and husband I found the guts to get this done and really I was there to help my self esteem and boost my confidence and I really have just cried ever since I left that blond lady’s room who adjusted my dentures I even asked her many times why they look so weird and she said cause I ain’t used to them well I guess I’ll just never get used to looking like a talking horse I don’t even know if I should even go back to this place at this point I know they won’t make this right cause they have plenty of cash flowing in update.......So I went back after I talked to sexton they wanted to make it right but I’m still unhappy with my top dentures they do not fit at all the dentist had my bottom partial remade but wouldn’t remake my top full denture and as a result I have a sore mouth at all times from them moving around all day and I have to wear denture powder and glue that was there idea of helping me be satisfied lmao ugh what a joke I mean if you just need to get a pair in desperate times to get by for cheap temporarily yes they are decent for that but honestly not worth the time and money if you can pay more and get a better set somewhere else I highly advise you to but over all I’m not happy and I just want to make sure that if your looking for great fitting dentures worth a pretty penny don’t go here

14 teeth extractions + immediate dentures on October 16th14 teeth extractions. For $2500 no insurance.(I have ulcerative colitis which is why my teeth needed to be replaced. Acid reflux ruined my teeth and enamel.)I drove out of town to Sexton Dental fromFlorida to South Carolina. I was sedated and was prescribed pain med and did not feel any pain until day 3.THEY MOLDED MY TEETH TO LOOK EXACTLY LIKE MINE. (Thankfully I had older teeth when they molded my mouth same day before dentures.)They are flawless and the dentures are everything I wanted.I have not had a reline I have not been back for check up and I am eating 100%. Dentist or oral surgeon who removed 21 teeth worked quickly and was prompt. However, the payment desk is very slow as it shouldn’t take so long to pay for procedure. Loved the fact that they did same day denture. Wonderful. It’s just don’t tell us a time for the dentures to be ready and then over an hour after that time they still aren’t done. What’s the point of making an appointment and spacing stuff out due to covid If they still jam pack it with people and there’s a wait for dentures to come off the machine. Not a pleasant visit.

I had a top and lower parcel made and both were not right they wanted me to meet them half way with it I said no it’s my mouth my money and my whole day I spent here waiting and it was terrible service, if I’m not happy with it that’s what matters, the doctor was rude and tried to be smart then just left me in the room waiting for nothing!!!! Had a upper tooth pulled a few years ago. At that time i thought something was wrong because there was a piece of tooth still there.To scared to go back because I would be charged for another visit. Fast forward to now the fragments from the left behind tooth is now causing me issues. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. JUST BECAUSE ITS CHEAPER DOESNT MEAN THAT THEY KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING😡 LEAVING PIECES OF TOOTH BEHIND.

I got my first partial from Sexton in Florence in 1973-74. They fit perfectly the very first time . I was 21 or 22 then. I am 65 now and needed a full upper and a bottom partial. Co vid delayed return until this week when I returned to finish the work. I hated the full upper because it had a palate that caused gagging and I threw it in the drawer and wore nothing on bottom and old partial on top . Had to eat like a rabbit for weeks and lost weight etc. I explained to CLAUDIA the best TECH EVER there that I wanted full upper cut into horseshoe shape . They saved the day when they all worked with me until everything fit perfectly before I left. CLAUDIA and the dentist all bent over backwards to make sure I was happy. I can now eat and chew and not gag or feel any discomfort whatsoever. Sexton , I am a lifelong return customer and I ❤️😍😘🤗🤗🤗You . CLAUDIA deserves a huge RAISE. Thank you. Everyone from out front to treatment were great. My teeth are beautiful and the clamps on the partial can barely be seen. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I was very pleased with my trip to Sexton Dental Clinic. They were very busy but very kind. Yes you have to wait some but it is well worth it. I left feeling like I was well taken care of and was very pleased with the results. I would do it all over again.

Took my great friend Claudia here years ago. She had a gum disease and needed all her teeth out. Drove from Orlando. The next morning we where there at 5:30 a.m and by 4 she had her dentures. Was she scared? Yes! Was the staff non friendly? Maybe. But they did their job and thats all we should ask for.

I very seldom give reviews....BUT...,If I could give zero I would.Took my daughter, drove 4 hours, missed 2 days work. Hotel room to get full set of dentures for her.The Very rude and unprofessional anesthesiologist mixed up records. My daughter got nervous and scared. They refused to do her surgery and did not give a full refund.DO NOT GO HERE!!This place is dirty, and the people working here are very unprofessional!! Not to mention dishonest.Never in my life have I ever experienced any medical facility like this!!!

While waiting on a friend to have his teeth fixed at Sexton, a militia style truck with a 3 percenter tag on the front bumper parks in the dentist parking spot and then the dentist hops out, full of 3 percentage tattoos and walks inside. I immediately texted my friend inside to tell him and he immediately left.You have a right to display whatever your beliefs are, but we have a RIGHT to PATRONIZE businesses that make us feel welcomed and wanted.TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!

I dont understand how a dental clinic like this one doesnt allow dental insurance. Whats the purpose of dental insurance if a dental clinic is not accepting it? It is deplorable for a medical business as this to not allow someone who has dental insurance to be used. Shame on you. Probably pocketing the money that you guys always want someone to pay so you can manipulate or distort the numbers to hide it and make plenty of it without getting caught. Yall need to make some changes on how you do services by allowing dental insurance to cover certain causes. Money hungry and greed will be you guys down fall. Sad.

The dentist without the mustache, was extremely rude to my sister and I !!!!!.I had a sheep Ram my face busting out most of my teeth.They broke my remaining teeth before pulling them.I had teeth flying into my eyes and nose.I had a good tooth oops pulled on my lower mouth. The drill kept slipping hitting my mouth and jaw bone and other teeth.His drilling out some of my teeth caused by eye sight loss. The plate makes the pain in my eyes unbearable. My Deeply bruised face .A new person was making the upper plate.The plate is so large some of the teeth are so little & uneven smile.I could not swallow spit.A bump on the top of the plate.I went back to have it fixed. It did not work.My mouth is so cut up, I cannot chew! I am in constant pain!!!!!!!While I was there people had wrong teeth pulled having to pay for another partial.One woman had the teeth fall out in less then 24 hrs. They made her pay another $180.00 on top of the $850.00 she paid the day before.She left back to Florida without the plate being done correctly.

I had my tooth pulled this morning. It was my lower molar; third from the back. Dr. Scott performed the extraction and in a matter of a few minutes, my tooth was out. The only thing that I felt was pressure; no pain from it. The wait time was not long for me, either. Dr. Scott is so nice, patient, quick & thorough. He reminds me of my old childhood dentist. My experience at Sexton was very pleasant. Thank you.

Went to get my side tooth pulled bc it had been bothering me for a week. Got here, got xrays done, went upstairs got examined and POINTED OUT TO HIM WHICH TOOTH WAS BOTHERING ME and I go pay, come back up to the 2and floor and they pulled THE WRONG TOOTH. They pulled my wisdom tooth which has never bothered me. So I tell them and guess what I HAD TO PAY $65 MORE IN ADDITION TO THE $180 TO GET THE CORRECT TOOTH PULLED. THE DOCTOR FUSSED AT THE NURSE WHEN SHE DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG HE DID.

Awful 2 days and still wrong.i was here in 2014 and it wasnt like it is today. Awful

I’ve read all the reviews before I went there and there are a lot of bad ones on how rude the employees are but I don’t understand why I had excellent care and everyone was very nice. The doctors were great! The process are very affordable the 4 hour drive was well worth it!!

I was so happy with my new beautiful smile! 9 teeth pulled and top & bottom dentures cost me $536!! I dont know of any other place that can beat that price! The only thing that I disliked was the nasty attitude the dentist had, totally uncalled for!

Went for an extraction, got screened, waited in line, brought all the paperwork they told me I needed, got to front desk, and the (for whatever reason) angry receptionist told me I needed two forms of id to be able to use my insurance. Well, thats different than what you told me on the phone, I dont keep my social in my wallet to avoid damage but I live >7 minutes away. Can I get someone to drop off my social security card and just wait here then? No, you need to call someone to reschedule she says, while tearing up my registration form, and calling the next person in line. Dont think Ill be coming back, seeing as youre just being rude for no reason, but thanks for your help anyway I suppose.

I knew about this place because my father had gotten dentures from there twice. I did not know how big it was until going there this morning. I arrived to get into line about 5:15am. The clinic opens at 5:30 and then a woman at the front desk explains what will take place. After you get forms from the front desk you are then waiting to register. Once that is complete then you have to get the impressions done. You then have to go and pay for what you want. Then it’s wait until the dentures are done so you can get them fitted and they make adjustments to make sure they fit properly. All this is done by a wonderful staff. Understand that people who go there are from all over the country and they make sure everyone is seen. If you aren’t patient then this isn’t the place for you.

These People are Sooooo rude!! Now looking at reviews, I see that MANY people have dealt with their rudeness... For YEARS & nothings changed! I would think, since its been such a problem, that youd correct it, I guess everyones just uncaring, since youre cheap, you dont care bcuz youll still have plenty of patients coming in. Sad and pathetic!

This place is awesome and the staff was friendly I just wish they took dental insurance 😢 but they pulled my tooth and then Boom!!!! A couple of hours later I was back normal with no more pain but I’m glad the dentist gave me a prescription because later on that day I felt a little pain but with the medication he gave me made me feel better and the antibiotics was extremely helpful oh yeah and the wait time wasn’t long so in guessing I came on a good day

I have had my dentures for 50 years they have always fit never even had to get them adjusted or wear poligrip they are fantastic

We drove from Florida to South Carolina in December 2019 to have teeth pulled and dentures made. I was concerned because of all the bad reviews but was pleasantly surprised when Dr. Hester did my procedures.He was pleasant quick and thorough.Sexton was a third of the cost of any of our local dentists.Well worth the trip. I am 71 years old and I went to them when I was 28. I had all my top teeth pulled and a denture put right in. Was wonderful experience and my teeth lasted 20 years. Plan on going back this summer to get my bottom teeth pulled and denture put in..the price is worth the trip.

I have been going to Sexton Dental Clinic for several years and would like to take this moment to express how wonderful the clinic is. My first appointment was to have all my teeth removed and a full set of dentures. This was all done in ONE day! and the fit and look were perfect 😁. Since then I have gotten replacements made (as recently as 12/28/17) and still say they perform magic. Some people complain about the wait, but when you consider all they accomplish in one visit, it is time well spent - and you meet fabulous people from all over America and the world. No other facility can offer the service in the time for such affordable prices.

I went to Sexton to have my front 4 lower teeth pulled and a partial denture made.The first dentist I went to quoted me 1600.00, and mind you I do not have dental insurance or 1600.00. Prior to going I called ahead to get all the answers to my questions answered, and they were. I arrived at 5:30am and waited in line to go in. From the moment I entered to the moment I left, everyone was courteous and helpful. You have to keep in mind that on a normal day, there may be 100 or more people there to see a dentist, so if you are NOT a patient person, go to a private dentist. Every step of the process was explained to me and was done exactly as explained. Also expect to be there since there are so many people having work done and dentures made. It is not a fast food restaurant. The only problem I had was that after some swelling had gone down that I needed an adjustment.Sexton does do a free adjustment for you, however since I do not live close to Florence, I went to a local Affordable Dentures office and they did the adjustment for me for 35.00. Considering that the main reason many go to Sexton is because of the low price I didnt mind the extra cost. The dentist that did the adjustment even commented on how nice my partial looked. There was no bait and switch like I had read in another review and the facility is clean. I am happy with the outcome and more than anything I am Happy with my smile. I am not an employee or relative, I just wanted there to be a positive review amongst all of the negative ones.

Good prices. The lady on cashier dept was awesome and the lady who did my impressions was awesome, helpful and calming. Only bad thing is the wait and going at 5am otherwise its great.

Far to many people...I had a appointment at 9.00 am....was called at 11.15 ...they seem to not be happy with their jobs...they treat you like cattle..it would be better to go elsewhere

Been a patients couple years drive 4 hours to see Dr Terry last time I was there needed a special root canal dental assistant tells me not the doctor they DONT have tools ,,they could of told that me before I drive 4 hours there They Recommend another dentist SMH

Unfortunately I cannot give 0 stars. I would recommend Aspen Dental since they do give new patients a free X-ray and an actual exam and actually explained to me what all of my problems were. Aspen Dental also took 18 x-rays with different positions of my mouth. When the doctor came into the room, he never introduced himself to me, did not ask me why I was there, and simply told me that they could not remove a broken wisdom tooth. He told me that I would need to go to an oral surgeon but that he would ask another doctor. He then came back into room, again did not look at me and told me that I would have to go to an oral surgeon. The assistant came in and gave me a general referral for me to go to whoever I choose. They did not talk to me about anyone that they would recommend. I could not even tell you if I was seen by an actual dentist.

Happy happy and satisfied did everything to make sure dentures were good and a perfect fit for me

Dr Taylor, you are an angel sent from above! My boy is smiling after years of shutting himself away from everyone. I cried when the tech said come round here mom and take a peek. We were here a few years ago and unfortunately we got stuck with the other dentist. Hes the cruelest, rudest, most uncompassionate human that Ive ever met. We actually had to leave after traveling from 2 states away. Our experience yesterday was so much more than we had ever dreamed of. Never stop what youre doing! You change lives! You truly make a difference!!!

Im having trouble understanding all of these negative reviews folks are posting. Yesterday I had extractions and a full set of upper and lower dentures made, and Im very pleased.Yes, it took all day long, but common sense tells you it will when the clinic is also serving 300 and some folks other than yourself. You have to get there early to insure you get your dentures that day as they only take 40 people a day for dentures. Their conformation email explains this. So if you travel from a long distance, you should plan on being in the parking lot by 3:30 am because the line grows very quickly. If you want to sleep in and show up there at 6:00, then you have only yourself to blame if you dont get your work done that day.As far as the staff goes, I had no problems with any of the folks I had to deal with. All were very professional and courteous and explained to me exactly what they needed me to do in order to achieve my goal of getting my dentures that day. If you have trouble taking orders from someone who is trying to help you, then you are at the wrong place. You have to be willing to help yourself some too.Dr. Hester is a top shelf dentist who I believe truly cares about his patients and I will be requesting him if I ever have to go back.All in all, awesome experience, minimal pain and finished product looks very natural. It was well worth investing a day of my life to get such a good product for such a low price.

I read all of the nasty and negative reviews about Sexton Dental Clinic and had just about decided to go elsewhere. I decided to give it a try and with my high anxiety of dentistry it was the hardest thing ive ever done. Let me be clear. ...I couldnt have asked to be treated any better than I was!!! They were attentive to my anxiety, fears and took excellent care of my needs. They extracted teeth from the top of my mouth and made a signature denture. I AM WELL PLEASED!!! Dr Hester and everyone was wonderful and I will be returning for my lower ASAP!!! Stop believing everything you read because you know what people say about opinions!!!!

On 2/15/19 I had one tooth extracted. On 4/2/19 I came back for a recheck with an issue. I was only charged once for the first visit & a reason able amount I might add. They made sure to inform me that theyd x-ray my mouth and have the dentist examine me free of charge on the recheck appointment just to make sure there were no issues since I was still in some pain. The first visit lasted quite a number of hours. They seemed to have a routine down pat that allowed for as many patients to be seen as possible. They were efficient, informative, clean, respectful, & knowledgeable both times. The second visit lasted less than an hour & I was left very pleased w/ the result of the visit. Not once did anyone try to sell me on any unnecessary work only gave me options on what I might want later on due to my extracted tooth & that was only suggested after my inquiry on possible next steps. I was left feeling at ease and relieved both times. Thank you so very much for helping me not once but twice. They stood by their work & I appreciate that!Oh & I might add that the recheck is not something you should have to do normally it was offered due to an issue with my mouth after the extraction. And I also want to clarify that the issue had nothing to do with the dentist or his performance the first time around. Thank you Sextons for all your help!

The dentist that did my work were very nice and explained everything they were going to do. I will continue to go back and my partial plate looks amazing and gave me me my smile back

If you want teeth that look good they can do the job however most of the staff just want to get you in and out regardless of the fit. Unless you live within a few hours (2or3) driving distance you may want to reconsider or hope you can find a local dentist who is willing to make adjustments if needed.

I drove down to SC from the Eastern Shore of Virginia. I drove at night and it took 8 hours. I was in line at 5:30 am and done by 1 PM for full dentures, no extractions.This was my 3rd trip and I have been pleased each time.The first time I got the full cosmetic try in and they were wonderful. The only reason that I went back is because I lost the bottom. I got a signature set for 415.00 because the try ins were a little more than my budget allowed at 675.00.The new set fit well but they are not lined up very good but not real noticable. My advise would be to spend the extra money for the try ins, if you can. You do not leave until you are happy with the look.Although I am not displeased, I would have made adjustments in their look.The only thing that I was discouraged with was Dr. Gray. He is not much on bedside manner and is rough. He ripped and cracked the corners of my mouth open shoving in the top mold while stating that I had a small mouth. The techs are WONDERFUL.

My son went in today. Dentist pulled the wrong tooth! A perfectly good tooth! Scraped and cut the inside of his mouth up.

Do not, I repeat do not use this place, first they messed up on my wifes dentures and wouldnt make them good. Ended up going across the street to Carolina Regional Dental ( Griffins ) and they made my wife a very good and comfortable fitting denture. Now the same day I needed a new upper and a lower partial and was told that I could keep the several on the bottom just needed to have them fixed. Didnt tell me I had to make an appointment to have them fixed, well 2 weeks later I go back to have them fixed only to be told they couldnt. Dr. Terry who works on the second floor that does the restore work apologized and was extremely upset that Dr.Scott even wasted his time and mine. Wrote in my records to come back at no charge and get a bottom plate. So I call and ask that since Ive done been there at 5:30 to wait in line, now mind that I have to leave my house at 4:00a.m. to be there by 5:30. I wanted to see if I could make an appointment since it was their mess up and them have my records out and me just check in by 7:00a.m. when they start doing impressions and pulling teeth. They tell me NO, I have to be there at 5:30a.m. and just sit there and wait to insure me a spot. This is very unprofessional, they treat you like trash and it reminds you of a slaughter house. Go to Carolina Regional (Griffins) directly across the side street,,, good assistants and dentist and they do great work... I wouldnt have given it one star but thats the only way I could post it was to rate it but my real rating is O !!!

Had 8 teeth extracted and upper plate made and put right into my mouth. Beautiful teeth am getting lots of compliments on them .Plan on going back in May to have them relived and also have 2 teeth filled and new lower partial made. Very good workmanship. Also good price if.

Went in to have partial fixed or new one. Nurses where great lady at desk Great Dentist walks in room and was the rudest most unprofessional dentist i have ever encountered. But he should thank his staff because they are the real professionals in that office...

I had 23 extractions Two days ago. 85% of my teeth were broken off or had decay. I am highly allergic to pain medications except for Ibuprofen and Tylenol . The doctor that I had was very nice, he was concerned for me because of all the pain that would follow . I wont lie, I have had some pain but the ibuprofen has knocked it out. I loved the older man who did my anesthetics. He was a kind, gental man. The dentist was caring. I would recommend them to my family and friends

Most of the staff are very nice. There are a few that were a little hate full. I think it was due to being a Monday morning. A lot of the dental chairs are very old and in need of repair. . After going to sexton on Monday I have to go back to another dentist to get the work done again and pay for it again. Beware when you go here. You pay for Cheap cheap work. If you drive 2-300 miles to go here save your money.because you will have to go back. Installed new plate when I was still num . Will never go back . Good cheap place to have tooth pulled. But thats all its good for.

Horrible. Out hundreds of dollars and cant wear them, but I will not go back because of the pain that so called doctor caused. I recommend finding someplace else. Dont go there. Dr Scott is his name. I had bruises on my face when he finished. When I told him he had his finger in my eye, he pretty much told me to shut up.

I was going to make an appointment over the phone and got cut off quickly when I mentioned insurance, I know they dont accept it, but dont get an attitude before someone asks a question, rude operator, guess Ill call affordable dentures or anybody with a ounce of of compassion
