Great place to get your hair done! I needed my hair done for my wedding and the person that would normally of done it canceled and I got booked the day before my wedding! I was nervous but LULU did a great job! I’ll be going back!

Absolutely love my color and my stylist was kind enough to come in on her day off to assist me as a new client. Very professional, and knowledgeable staff, the atmosphere was pleasant feeling like a family/ team... no drama or negative underlying vibes like many salons. Felt very welcome and not just another number, my issues were discussed in detail and there was no rush. All questions clearly answered and explained thoroughly. My natural hair and preservation was important and taken into consideration before proceeding with color and extensions. Highly recommend!!!

I’ve heard SUCH great things about this place! I waited a while to finally get my hair make over- which was quite expensive. Unfortunately, my extension didn’t match at all. The stylist mentioned that she mush have ordered the wrong ones… which is pretty upsetting after I paid $1000 to get my hair done. She did a fabulous job of coloring my hair and it looks beautiful - just wish my extensions matched. The line where my natural hair ends and extensions begin is extremely obvious. She ended up adding more hair in to help cover it up - but then charged me more!? Which only upset me more as why should a customer pay MORE for the stylists mistake.Overall the color is beautiful- but double check the color of the extensions that the stylists order. It would have been easy to RE order instead of trying to make Grey/white extensions work on brown/beige hair.

Terrible experience! Not professional at all! I can cut the hair much better! I asked for someone who has experience cutting long curly hair, but they booked me with someone unexperienced. She was very nice, but did not cut my hair well. I am not ever going again! I do not recommend this place!

I desperately needed a re-do since salons have been closed for a couple months. My daughter, whos been coming here for a few years, got an appointment for me with Summer. She did an amazing job! I dont usually like how someone other than me styles my hair. But, Summer went above and beyond. She followed my wishes to a tee plus added her own special expertise. I have to say I think I looked fairly fabulous when I walked out of there. Right on Summer! You nailed it.

I’m in love with the Color Room. I’ve gone from being a quarantined red head with dark brown and grey roots to embracing my grey hair! Low lights and Balayage. It’s like miracle work!

I have been going to The Color Room for about 4 months now. My stylist is KC. She has always taken good care of me. So when I decided to transition from my dark brown hair to my grey, she supported me 100%. It’s a slightly scary thing to go from a brunette to a blonde instantly. But she worked with my hair and took great care to keep it protected as she put in the MANY foils!! She even consulted other cosmetologists just to make sure she was applying the right toner. Which I appreciated because it shows some humility and her ability to grow. I trusted her completely and I honestly could not be more pleased with the result.

Arrived to my appt. on time but the stylist was 40 minutes late. So sat down in chair and she pulled my pony tail holder out and my hair then says what are we doing today. Dont be tender headed if you go there !!!!! You will lose some hair I promise you that. So I told her what I wanted really never spoke to me again until she said you are all done. Never saw my hair til I got home. They were all stuck up and felt I was not good enough for this up- tight venue .I would have much rathered gone to super-cut at least they want you there. Never would I even suggest to go there !!!!!!!

I’m SO disappointed! I spent so much money at this visit. I RARELY get my hair done so it was not overbleached. It’s been years. Anyway, prior to my visit I had soft, beautiful wavy locks. After I got full highlights and a cut my hair is RUINED! I look like a homeless poodle. I have NEVER had my hair this damaged before. I want to cry! It’s a tangled rats nest of lion’s mane frizz. I’m SO embarrassed I keep it up all the time. It’s ALWAYS tangled and frizzy. After a $200 cut and highlights I expected more! I will NOT be coming back! It is humiliating how bad it is!

I love this salon. Every one that works there smiles a big genuine smile when they look at you in there. Even when your hair is a wreck. I personally love Allie. She is very understanding, patient and on top of being beautiful, she is kind.

We had a wonderful experience here yesterday. I brought my teen daughter here for the first time yesterday. It was a special day for her and our appointment got screwed up but Ria and Brittany went above and beyond to work her in. They both worked on her and did such a nice job on her hair. Jillian did an amazing job! I had her give me my first pixie cut. It was the shortest my hair has ever been and I absolutely LOVE it. She was very down to earth and friendly. She offered a lot of advice on how to volume my thin hair and she styled it so well. I highly recommend Jillian, especially if youre going for a new short hairstyle.

Ive been going to the color room since its opened. The salon has recently been made over and is such a beautiful atmosphere. All the girls make you feel comfortable and very relaxed. Its a wonderful feeling to be pampered! One New Edition is the shampoo chairs they actually recline back to the sink bowl where your shampoo massage could actually put you to sleep! I absolutely love being there the girls are all up beat youre finished product will make you feel confident and beautiful! Stop by the Color Room and see for yourself!

Absolutely love this place, I have difficult hair to work with has been coming here for almost 2 years now. the hair has made great improvement they are definitely color experts the staff atmosphere everything about it is awesome!! Im glad I found a hair salon finally call home!

I had no idea this salon existed, and I wish I had found it sooner! I received an all over highlight and hair trim. I love the color my stylist, Allie, chose for me. My hair feels and looks amazing. The facility is clean and welcoming, and prices are so reasonable. I will be returning in the future.EDIT: I’m not sure if they got all new people or what, but this place has totally went downhill since my last review. I showed up for an appointment with Jamie, only to be told, “she went out of town. She didn’t call you?” Well would I be battling Florence traffic and standing in front of you if she did? I even could’ve went to work and made extra money because they needed an extra hand, but I thought I still had an appointment set! Then come to find out, my neighbor just seen the same stylist for a dye, and she completely ruined what she was wanted, which was blonde, but it ended up dark. And not to mention she has a huge stain on her forehead from the stylist. I’m currently looking for a new place.

I decided to go to the Color Room after I called about 5 or 6 salons trying to get in before the end of June. A girl just wants and needs to feel pretty again... The Color Room failed me. I went in for a consultation with Karyn. I was so excited. This is it this is my new salon. I was extremely disappointed. Its mostly my fault I guess. I showed her the hair color I wanted which was fantasy colors blues and pinks. She then told me to get the hair I wanted it would easily be over 200 dollars. What? I have NEVER EVER paid over 200 bucks for fantasy colors or ever to get my done. And Ive been doing the crazy colors since they be blown up the last 4 ish years. I always paid between 140-160$. The stylist I used to go to was at the Phenix she was AMAZING. Unfortunately for her clients she went back to college and I havent heard from her since. So that is the only reason ive been searching for a new place go. Somewhere I trust. I do have red box dye on my hair and yes Karyn told me it would need to be a color correction. I understand that. But then again I dont because I have used boxed dye before and never had to get a color correction. The girl at Phenix never had to do that. She would just lighten me up or safely bleach the parts I wanted to be bright. I also have a TON of hair. Karyn didnt seem like she wanted to deal with my hair as long and thick as it is. I know it takes a TON of time. Im sorry I was born with it. So she gave me her card and I told her I would think about it. I walked out the salon crying my eyes out. I was so disappointed and upset. Now it was back to square one to find another salon and make an appointment. I just wanted to feel good again. Not be told it would cost me 200 smackaroos and my sanity. Getting my hair done is something Ive really needed unfortunately right before covid19 and now I still have to wait til the end of June to feel beautiful again.

Had my hair done a week or so ago. It was my first time ever at this salon so I was a little nervous. Jillian did my hair and she is amazing ! She listened to what I wanted and was very honest about what was possible. I love how my hair turned out and i will definitely be returning !

I have been following Sheila where ever she has had her shop. She is wonderful person and her salon is just as wonderful. When I call I get in within 24 hours with my favorite hairstylist Brittany. This salon is one of the best you can find for customer service. Sheila always makes sure everyone is happy with the services in her salon. She runs her shop as if it is a family and everyone looks out for each other and for their customers. I encourage you to call and make an appointment you will be glad that you did.

I am a stylist at The Color Room. I read a review on our wall and would like to share my thoughts.Keshia, your stylist has had 1800 hours of education as well, many extended classes. Shes has certification, well extending what is required in the state of Kentucky. She spent extra time explaining to you what would be required to achieve the color you asked for. When you argued that was not how you had it done in the past, she brought another stylist in to see if she thought any different. She agreed it had to be done differently do to the hair condition at the present time. She gave you a beautiful color, that you picked out, and did it the safest way she could. Shampoo and products and change your hair in a years visit. The porosity of your hair can change in a years time. I suggest that before you blast someone on social networks, that you get your facts together first. Also, you did not call to ask her if there was anything more she could to to make you happy. Considering you are still on your search for another stylist, sounds like you have created this pattern yourself. I empathize for you, and wish you luck in your journey.Sincerely Misti

Based on reviews went in for consultation and cut with Alli. She loved my bob wanted to stack the back. I have the most uneven hair cut in my life. The back is cut out with a sharp angle and nothing is even. What a waste of time and money.

I only went in for a consultation, but they were so very honest and clear with helping me. They could have just done what I was asking and took my money, but talked me out of it instead. I would highly recommend this place even though I didnt get any coloring done. I actually decided to go here because of a bad review! The person was upset after NOT taking their advice! Thats how I knew they were the best place to go!!
