At first I thought this was a great place, but after having my bill sent to collections even though I was paying on my bill really upsets me. I was even paying more than I needed to pay because they coded my paperwork wrong and didn’t fix it so that insurance would pay their portion. I will NOT go back nor will I recommend this place to anyone.

Dr. Otto and the nurses, as well as the office staff, were all very professional, polite and welcoming. I definitely made the right choice in chosing Family Allergy and Asthma. They answered every question I had and helped me feel at ease with the treatment plan.

We love Dr. Otto. He is pleasant and funny, and always addresses all of our concerns. He shows genuine concern for his patients and never leaves the room without making sure all of our questions have been answered. We first went to him thinking my daughter was suffering from allergies but he was able to quickly identify she had undiagnosed asthma. Don’t know where we’d be without him.

Office staff very nice and helpful. Allergy shots usually do not have a long wait. Only problem I have so far is their App is worthless. Try to contact billing or anyone does through the app does NOT work. The app does not save you bar code for allergy shots. Instead of putting all that money into a worthless app they should use MyChart that actually works and other doctors can see what is going on. ALL your Doctors can be on the same page. That’s the biggest downfall that they don’t use MyChart and it’s annoying to go to your regular doctor and having to have to Fill them in every time you go because this company will not use MyChart like everybody else. Office staff in the office I give five star rating BUT for the app I would get actually give them just for the app of -12 stars for how worthless it is. I’m only giving this three stars because I cannot rate the app by itself

Just recently had a visit at the Florence location for the first time and the experience was the best! Everyone was extremely nice and professional and I learned things about controlling my asthma that I never knew the 38 yrs. I’ve had it. Dr. Franxman and team are awesome!

I took my 1 year old son to see Dr. Otto to check for food allergies due to his severe eczema. He’s amazing! So good with the kids and doesn’t rush you out the door. He takes the time to explain everything and wants you to understand every process so you can see the big picture. Now my son is almost 4 and is doing great! The staff is great also!

Excellent physician. Office on time and helpful. Answers all questions and asks if they can help with anything else. Dr Skupin is always pleasant and sits down to review your treatment and current symptoms. Performs exam and discusses treatment with you. Very happy with my care.

I called to make a new patient appointment and was told I would be required to pay a $200 deposit. I asked why because I knew my insurance would not require me to pay $200 out of pocket and she said its their policy in everyone is required to pay the $200. She then turned around and sad you can call the week of to see if youll be required to pay the $200 or not. So I called today to see if I would have to pay the $200 and their billing department told me that everyone has to pay the $200 regardless. I then told her its wrong for doctors to turn their back on patients when they dont have a $200 deposit to pay. I also explained to her that I did have the money but I would not be coming to them because its the precedence of the quality of medical care that they are refusing people who normally cant afford to pay it. I do not recommend them.

OTTO IS FANTASTIC !!!Love his approach with little ones .. mine is 4.Blood work ordered. Thursday was our visit.The STAFF ARE TERRIBLEMy son’s blood work order wasn’t sent over to Children’s Outpatient until TUESDAY THE FOLLOWING WEEK.Meanwhile, I’m told “I just schedule I do t do orders” .. while my son is miserable this entire time .. Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday Monday Tuesday …How many days?! Ridiculous!!Staff within that office IS NOT RECOMMENDEDOTTO is a ROCKSTAR

Dr. Franxman has always taken time to answer all of my questions and has been the utmost professional. He is attentive and considerate as well as knowledgeable and invested in his patients. I am so glad to have this practice helping me with my medical needs.

I love dr Franxman he does a great job with my daughter. Her allergies and asthma change a lot and he’s really patient and so sweet with her. He talks to you and makes things easy to understand. I recommend him all the time.

Everyone in the office is so patient and kind. We never feel rushed with Dr. Franxman and he is thorough and personable.

Workers were talking to themselves about politics rather than serving customers. Waiting room was packed.

I love Family Allergy and Asthma! Dr. Castilano is so warm and kind. She hears me out and has great knowledge. She remembers me each time and always wears a smile in her eyes, even though I cant see her mouth with her mask on. Her nurses are awesome. I love Dana and Kyra, who gives me my allergy shots.

Dr. Franxman is so educated and understanding. He takes his time explaining treatment as well as non-treatment. I always feel he gives me great options with out pressure to do as he feels. He is one of the few doctors I’ve dealt with in my life that acts more like a partner in my health than an administrator. I trust him and his staff wholeheartedly.

Dr Amy Castilano and her staff are the best. Always nice, very helpful and kind. Would recommend them to everyone.

I had a wonderful experience. I came in knowing I have allergies but what they were able to give me all the information I needed to help start making my life better. They explained everything to me and was given detailed instructions so I knew what the game plan was. I would refer them to anyone.

I love Family Allergy and Asthma! The staff is so nice. Im in and out fir my allergy shots and love nurse Khyra! Nurse Deana is awesome too, she is very helpful and cheerful. Dr Castiallano is wonderful and is helping me not only with my dog/cat allergies but also with my urticaria (chronic hives). She is so nice and easy to talk to

Visit with Dr Otto was great. He answered and explained all my questions. Girls in office are very helpful whether at front desk or ones giving shots.

I posted this 6 months ago and absolutely nothing has changed. This time it was necessary to negotiate suspending all treatment for more than a month due to pending surgery. So I would repeat...I was escorted to consult room 5 minutes prior to appointment time. Dr. came in within 5 minutes of assistant finishing the update of my medical info. Dr. Franxman is THE easiest doctor to talk with that I have ever experienced. His prescribed treatment has really helped control my former misery. He has a fan in me!

Ive been coming here about 5 years now everybodys been wonderful help me get through my shots which I might say my allergies have improved doctor Otto is the best he has helped me in so many ways explains everything I wouldnt see anybody else but him

I always enjoy going to Family Allergy and Asthma. The personnel are friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Otto is a very good doctor he takes his time with you and answers any questions. He cares about the whole person. The only part I dont like is the drive from Falmouth to Florence. I have recommended Family Allergy and Asthma to friends.

For the last 25+ years I had been going to a different Allergist and I wasnt getting the results I needed. 1 month ago, I switched to the Family Allergy & Asthma Center and I honestly have never felt better. Their highly qualified doctors and nurses couldnt be any better! You will be amazed!

My time is just as valuable as anyone else. Got there at 3:15 waited 5 minutes to get to the room Dr. didnt come in till 4:11, why do you have appointments, no emergency.

I am so thankful to Dr Otto and his wonderful staff for all the hard work they provide to make me a healthier woman. Dr Otto is very informed about every aspect of my allergies and the resulting asthma and provided testing and serums to help me live in my own home, Church and visiting other peoples homes.His nurses are excellent and the top of the line in their knowledge and work and relationship to me in that they read my relaxation or apprehenshin and deal with it until Im comfortable.The whole place is clean, bright and upbeat, a positive atmosphere. I would recommend that everyone in need of an allergist come to Dr Otto and his wonderful staff.

Billing Dept will not return calls. My insurance co. Is requesting a verification form before they will pay (which I have requested several times) and no one will call me back. Supervisor Teresa, no help. Leave voicemail because she is busy. I was put on hold & then someone just disconnected the call. This is my 6th attempt to resolve issue. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

The nurses are very pleasant. I get my shots in a timely manner.

Great Doctors/nurses and staff.

The physicians are great. But if you need allergy shots be prepared to wait sometimes upwards of 40 mins. Its no a quick in and out visit like they would lead you to believe.

This is such a great place. They have great doctors and such a great staffing team. They give my kids amazing care. I love it here and highly recommend it. Both of my childrens health conditions have improved greatly.

Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Otto went over my medical condition thoroughly and how it affects my asthma, so I could make an informed decision regarding my health.

Stephanie is wonderful. She’s gentle, has been patient with me, and eases my anxiety over getting these allergy shots. I appreciate seeing her when I come in!

People here are very nice and actually get to know you. They are full of life and try to make your visit as pleasant as possible. I come here almost every monday to get allergy shots and i have never had an issue.

We got there at the recommended 15 minutes early for a new patient, only for them to keep us waiting 30 minutes after our appointment time. They clearly dont value the patients time. We got up and walked out. This is unacceptable.

Having worked many years in the medical field, I have high standards it comes to the physician we see. I have NEVER encountered such a caring practice. My infant son was diagnosed with food allergies. Dr Castilano has great bedside manner. I have had to call after hours and Dr Hans returned my call within 10 minutes. The practice has now called me 3 times after our appointments to check on our how our son was doing. Its really hard for practices to make patients feel like they are a priority. This practice goes absolutely above and beyond. We have been VERY impressed with their level of care. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr Castilano.

Dr. Castilano is the first of many asthma care doctors who took proactive steps to help our son get his asthma under control. After years of CCMC asthma doctors continuing to tell us the wrong triggers she helped us uncover the underlying cause in the first two visits.

My son has really bad allergies and this group of doctors are fixing it with cluster vaccines! We can already tell a major improvement! The doctors and staff are professional and friendly. I am so glad we found this place!
