I dont usually post comments,but my hair looks better than it has in years! I had long thick damaged hair and Audra took her time..and talent and I am so pleased with my new look. Ive been going to jcpenney salon for years. Never had a bad experience.

I feel like my toddler cut my hair, its horrible. I came in with long hair and was aiming for a reverse stack bob. They stylist was in such a rush to go home, it took her all but 15 minutes. I was extremely uncomfortable the whole time and she started cleaning up before I even looked at my hair. Im not incredibly picky, I know its just hair and it will grow back, but this is the worst haircut I have ever gotten.

Got a haircut by Jennifer! She was great, friendly and listened. Good value too. They even got me in the same day. Awesome

I just had a multi dimensional color/hi-light, trim and olaplex treatment done today by Regina. She was super sweet, talkative, kind and did an absolutely amazing job on my hair. She finished the style off with old Hollywood fashioned waves and I couldnt be happier. Courtney(salon manager) is awesome also!! Definitely book Regina...you wont be disappointed!

Got my daugthers hair done for her bday and a young lady named nicole did it . She took her time to make sure the color was exactly what my daugther was asking for . We will definitely be returning wish I could post a picture because it looks amazeing

Absolutely horrible service. They over changed me for my shampoo and conditioner then wanted to argue about returning it. She was VERY unprofessional and VERY rude! Will Never do business with them and suggest if anyone wants good customer service to goSomewhere else

Only Laurel cuts my hair there. Nobody else. There are other hair dressers and stylists there, however, Ive Never yet had to get my hair retrimmed or fixed after getting a haircut by Laurel at JC Penneys smart salon at Genesee Valley mall. And just recently a new manager has been hired, promising big changes by the time (6 weeks) Im in need of another haircut.

Our visit was not even worth a 1 star. We called JCPENNEY salon for my daughter to get her whole head/hair platinum blonde, her senior pictures were in one week and she was was getting her hair done for the pics - they even told us that it would take about 3 hours to do. We didn’t mind because she really wanted it done. We got to the salon, the lady at the desk confirmed what we were scheduled there and reminded us that it would take about 3 hours. The lady, I believe her name was KIM/Kimberly, took her back and didn’t even know what she was there for, and when she found out, she said that she couldn’t do it. When we explained all of it to the front desk, Kim told us that with all the customers, they probably couldn’t hear us on the phone when we made the appointment. It seems that if there was a lot of people there, you would pay extra attention to the person on the phone to make sure you got it right...I am very unhappy with the salon inside JCPenney’s. We used to get our hair done there, but I will not go back there anymore. Very unprofessional - and Kim was very rude to us. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend them at all to anyone unless you just want a plain haircut, at least not with KIM.

I went to get my hair colored and highlighted . my hair was so damaged. it took her four hours to highlight the hair and the front of my hair fell out and was fried . This was at the Valley in Flint Mi, She knew it was falling out too. Said nothing and still was charged. This was last month . Never go there. I want to hire a lawyer .

Today I got blonde highlights, a lob cut with a side bang and it was the best color and cut Ive had since living in flint for the past 6 years . My hair is perfect exactly what I wanted. The stylists name was Irina , and she did awesome, Im more than happy!!!

Ive always had a good haircut from here, and Jesse recently did a great job on my layers. My hair was almost to my butt when I saw him and he took a lot of time to make sure my hair was even and symmetrical and what I wanted. I definitely recommend him!

I bought biolage shampoo and conditioner both bottles were sliced open but you couldnt tell because they are in a duo pack. Took them back to jcpenney flint Salon the manager wouldnt let me exchange them without a receipt. Horrible service! I have always bought my salon products there.

Called asked if I could get a hair cut and if there was a wait I was assured I could get in got there 10 mins later 2 hours before it closed and they told me they didnt have time and everyone was sitting there Im pretty mad about the service

I needed a manicure on the spot and to my surprise....I was able to get right in. However, even though the young lady was a total sweetheart and did a fantastic job on my pedicure. She seemed a little perplexed doing my manicure. She polished one hand and decided to remove it and start over as the polish wss old and thick. It took a coworker to suggest using a clear gel over regular polish-which peeled off the next day. I paid $70.00 for both. 😕I later found out how over priced it was. I definitely wont be returning.

My fiancé went to your salon for a full color and highlights. She felt insulted when the “master hair designer” Kimberley started to comb her hair and told her “Your hair is so damaged. We need to cut it”. This is not the case. Her hair had been in a bun after doing a 12 hour shift at work and her hair was just tangled and dry. The stylist didn’t bother to apply water and brush it out. She came home visibly upset and explained that the stylist made her feel extremely uncomfortable. It’s over priced and the client relations are horrible. If you are looking for the worst possible customer service, come here and you won’t be disappointed.

Came in for a color/cut -- something I never spend money on. I wanted a change in color. I usually do this on my own, but I decided to get giftcards for my birthday to splurge on myself. Anyway, I came out of the salon with nearly the same look...all the way down to the inch of darker roots that were completely noticable, even by the receptionist. (Not a single person noticed the color change.) I was told that night to come in on Saturday. Since I work full-time with three YOUNG children, I arranged for a babysitter. When I drove out there, the stylist said I should have made an appointment, so there was not time to take care of the issue. It was 3 pm, she leaves at 6. The problem is, two of the three days she is available are during the work week, and there is only a six hour window of time on Saturday. I dont know what to do..my schedule does not allow me to come back until two weeks from now. I might go somewhere else to get the color redone but that feels like a huge waste of 80 bucks, not something I have lying around to do this again. My other way is trying to fix it with a box color. That is what I usually do anyway, but I was hoping for more at a salon. The only positive experience walking away from this is that the stylist was nice, but did not call me in Friday like she said she was going to try to do. Also, every person I met at the front was also welcoming and professional. IF I do go back in two weeks, that will be my final visit. I am leaving here after finding a baysitter and driving 20 minutes super disappointed.

I was very disappointed in the service an of the staff in not having no one to do a bra size fitting an I feel like it should be one person there to help someone if they need a bra size fitting thats the whole point of the dressing RM an shopping for bras an they should keep all registers open until closing even if it is on a Sunday an its close to closing time,I am a loyalty JCPenney shopper but I will not be returning for a good while
