I should have read the reviews before coming here. When I arrived for my appointment time that I had scheduled online, the front desk lady didnt even greet me. There were only two other cars out in the parking lot so I was thinking it wouldnt take that long. Normally, you would expect to hear them say, Someone will be with your shortly, but she was too concerned with her phone to even have a semblance of compassion or care. I tried to take a look at her name tag but a badge was covering it. After sitting there for about 30 minutes, I decided to leave and go to Riverview. My experience there was super positive and quick. Go elsewhere. Avoid this Immediate Care at all costs. The front desk person needs to take some classes on working in healthcare and customer service.

I can barely talk and the doctor wont give me antibiotics. Im 51 years old and know when my sinuses are infected. So instead of feeling better in a couple days, Im supposed to wait 3 weeks because hes afraid he will get a red flag for prescribing them. Meanwhile I will probably have to miss work because he did nothing to treat me

I visited this clinic during the Covid-19 crises. Very professional and friendly staff from the staff member that came out to my car to get my information, the NP that treated me, and the tech that took me back to my room and checked my vital signs and took a chest x ray. The process was quick but thorough.

I did not have a positive experience. My teenage son said that the resident did not knock on the door when she entered the room. She also shared she was conducting her first physical. The BEST immediate care clinic I have ever been to. Was having horrible right flank pain and after an ER visit, many tests, and a GP follow up this was the last place I was directed to go. The PA was dedicated to taking care of my pain. He went above and beyond to take care of me while I was in literal tears in their office. I have multiple chronic illnesses and several of them were flaring all at once on top of the flank pain. He was able to prescribe me pain medication and now I’m able to get relief and typing this, pain free, for the first time in a week. Thank you guys so much for your AMAZING care!

Fantastic! I was a little hesitant to take my son here after some bad reviews, but my experience was great! We went in as a new patient on a Monday morning at 10 AM and were back in the car driving home in 40 minutes! Very fast service. All the staff was wonderful and the doctor was cheerful, kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. The forms to fill out are all done on an electronic device now, so no more writing out paperwork. My husband just started a new job and I wasn’t sure about our insurance company yet, so I had to go is self-pay. It was quite inexpensive. About $40 less than I’ve paid anywhere else.In addition, the waiting room is very large and comfortable. Not like the usual urgent care waiting rooms that are small and awkward. I will definitely go back there in the future!

Solid 1 star and apparently I’m not alone. The lady at the front desk didn’t even acknowledge me (Deshawnae) for over 4 minutes I sat there and she didn’t look up once. Then finally acknowledged me and was still rude. Not the friendliest face or who I would have on the front desk. Medical treatment seemed fine once we go the ball rolling.I update from 1 to 3 because the doctor was outstanding.

If I could give less than one star I would. My first experience here was okay. I liked the provider I saw, he seemed to listen to the way I was feeling. However my second time I was here was absolutely AWFUL. Came back a week after they diagnosed me with laryngitis because I was having coughing fits and my breathing was not right. Not only was the check in girl rude as hell but the “Dr.” or provider as they call them was awful. She did not listen to me or the way I was feeling. Told me all my vitals were fine, but she recommended getting a chest X-ray. As soon as I told her I couldn’t afford a chest X-ray (because I am self pay) her demeanor completely changed. She basically said there’s nothing we can do for you then. You are fine, and you can go back to work. I left having a panic attack, because not only was I thrown off by how I was treated I left getting no resolution but I still could not breathe! The next day I still did not feel any better and decided I needed to try to get in with my family doctor. Glad I did, because on the first listen to my breathing and lungs he diagnosed me with pneumonia. Said the clinic should have called me in antibiotics when diagnosing me with the laryngitis so it wouldn’t have turned into pneumonia. I am angry at the way I was treated and the fact that they did not listen to my health concerns and ultimately turned me away. What am I paying $120 for because they did nothing but give me a panic attack!! I left feeling worse than when I came in. I do not recommend this place at all. Save your money, and go somewhere they treat their patients like human beings and listen to their health concerns!

My kids pediatrician is in this office, so when my daughter fell and cut her head, it seemed like the logical place to take her. Unfortunately my wife was greeted by a rude nurse that all but kicked her out, insisting she go to the ER for stitches. Just got my bill for $2,300. What good is an urgent care center that wont do stitches. I wouldnt go here if its within an hour of closing, theyre more concerned with closing on time than treating patients.

Absolutely terrible experience at this office. If I could rate it at 0 stars I would. I visited this office at 6:00 on a day when they closed at 8 for what I thought was a broken hand. I proceeded to wait 30 minutes before I was taken back to one of the consult rooms. I then waited another 20-30 minutes before I saw a nurse. After I saw the nurse I waited an entire hour before I was able to see the NP Flor Phillips at 8:07. She then looked an my hand and told me she didnt think it was broken, but the only way she could know for sure was to take an X-ray, but the X-ray tech had already left for the day because it was after close. Even though I had been there since 6. She kept saying I dont think its broken, but I cant be sure. She then told me I could come back the next day between 8:00 - 11:00 for an X-ray without getting charged for another office visit, but if I couldnt be back between that time I would get charged another $120 office visit as well as the cost for the X-ray. I asked if I could come back the next night and get the X-ray due to work meetings I had scheduled the next morning. She told me there was nothing she could do and I would have to pay the additional office visit. The next night I went to the OrthoIndy Fishers where the PA that was on told me without doing any X-rays there was no chance that my hand wasnt broken, she told me Ive never seen a hand with that much swelling not be broken!. The amount of incompetence in this office is astounding, especially on the part of the NP Flor Phillips .

I had a mixed experience at this location. The resident I saw was very kind, clear and prompt. The attending physician however walked in and one of the first things he said was “ I’m the old man.” While this May be funny at a personal gathering, it is incredibly unprofessional and also a fixed mindset in general. After checking my ears, using the same tip, then checked inside my nose which was a little disturbing in a medical setting where the tip could have been switched out quickly. It really grossed me out and confirmed the unprofessionalism of this attending physician. I would suggest that if he feels old, stop treating others and retire or give the craft more intent and grow as a physician. It does not matter what ones age is, professional, clean services are what people want and demand in such a competitive field. I will not be returning to this location and will opt for the Carmel location if future services are needed due to my PCP having a booked schedule.

Depends on who checks you or your kid. Instead of informing you of future complications she suggested the flu can last over 7 days and only unless my son stops drinking and eating no further steps need to be taken. Five days with fever nonstop and his stomach starts hurting. Assuming it’s from the round the clock ibuprofen I take him to another urgent care strictly avoiding her the new NP prescribed antibiotics after a physical check but then I push to get him tested which is when this NP tested for strep. She returns after the results show up saying she’s glad she did the strep test. What’s up with a parents assertiveness and knowledge? What happens if the parent doesn’t know more than these providers give? Doctors and physicians should do full testing without being asked to. It avoids further complications. Thank god we have other options and other offices whose providers give a well rounded diagnosis

While I was in and out fairly quickly, I cant say anything else positive about this place. This is my second time here, once for my son and once for me just recently and both times I left with a misdiagnosis. Each time we were told the symptoms we were experiencing really werent the symptoms of that illness which was completely false both times. My visit last weekend, the NP actually said that she needed to check with one of the experienced physicians on staff to ask about if an antibiotic should be used! 2 days later, I go to another clinic because my symptoms got worse (my doctor was unavailable) and was told an antibiotic shouldve been prescribed right away and due to that misdiagnosis, a much higher dose had to be prescribed. I was also told a 45% discount would be applied if I paid cash that day and when I went to check out I was told I didnt have to pay anything. The next day I got a bill for the full amount, no discount! I will never go back to this urgent care again! Avoid this office! Its worth the few extra minute drive to Nora or Noblesville!

I visited this facility 11/10/2017. While there were not many people in the waiting room I was advised there was about an hour wait for treatment due to staffing. There was an hour wait and the nurse taking me back apologized for the delay. She was caring and thorough in her evaluation. I waited another 10 minutes for the treating LPN to see me. She was a little hard to understand but checked me out and determined I had a viral URI. No meds. From start to finish it took about 1 1/2 hours. It’s a nice facility, easy to get in and out and I will go back if I need services after hours.

Had first PCP appointment with Dr. V and everything was fine. She told me to get a blood draw as a next step. I scheduled one the following week and waited an hour and had to cancel due to, you know, having to go back to work. Gave them a second chance and scheduled a blood draw for the same week. Waited over an hour AGAIN for a 10 minute procedure. What is the point in scheduling an appointment if you cant keep it within reasonable time? 10-15 minute is completely understandable but dont make me come in 15 minutes early only to wait an hour to cancel. Looks like Im in the market for a new PCP.

This is a Pediatric Center that poses as an Immediate Care Center.Immediate Care patients will wait for an hour while a child with a fever will get in immediately.Personally I find this practice to be ridiculous. She quickly said that my son needed an x-ray and that the facility did not have such capabilities and were sent to a SV clinic on Hazel Dell to get the x-rays. 3 hours and two sites later, we had a diagnosis and left. Again, the staff were pleasant. But then we received the bill - instead of being billed as an Urgent Care visit like it should have, it was billed as an Office Visit (kicking me in the pants for an additional $139 after insurance). I went to the St. Vincent Immediate Care on 116th on a Sunday afternoon with a broken finger from a sledding accident. I have often gone to this clinic for sinus infections and other illnesses when I was unable to get in to see my primary care physician and have had no complaints. However, I will never again spend my money or my insurance companys money at this facility.I was sledding with my son when the injury occurred so he arrived at the clinic with me. I discreetly told the nurse that I may be pregnant and that a urine sample should be done prior to x-rays. The nurse understood my emphasis on being discreet in front of my son; however, the doctor (Dr. Wine) barged in and inconsiderately announced that I was indeed pregnant in front of my son.I was then ushered in for x-rays and sat in an exam room for well over an hour waiting on results. Dr. Wine finally came in and recommended that they wrap my finger and release me since the radiologist was taking too long to review my x-rays. I was told that I would receive a call by end of day with the results and next steps. I received no call.By the following morning, my entire hand was swollen, black and blue, and considerably painful. I called the Immediate Care office at 8:30 AM and was transferred to the nurses line. By 7 PM, I still had not received a call back, so I left a second message asking for a callback. I received no response. At 8 PM, I called the main St. Vincent Care Line and explained the situation. The woman on the line told me that she couldnt help because the Immediate Care was now closed and that they would be closed the following day for a Federal holiday. I asked her what I was supposed to do in the meantime and she suggested I go to the St. Vincent ER for another round of x-rays. I asked her for the phone number to lodge a complaint against Dr. Wine and the Immediate Care clinic. I called and left a message on that line and 2 days later have received no response.Additionally, I have still received no response from the clinic about the results of my x-rays (its now 4 days later). My husband dropped by the clinic this morning to get information and was only offered the option to leave a message for the nurse. On Monday night, after getting no where with the Immediate Care or the St. V Care Line, I emailed my primary care physician with my concerns. Today (4 days after the injury) he has tracked down my x-rays and confirmed that I not only have a broken finger but torn ligaments in my hand. He emailed me today and let me know that Dr. Wine still had not signed off on the x-rays but that I need to see a hand specialist immediately.I will never again go to the St. Vincent Immediate Care on 116th.
