Called to ask if I needed an appointment to come in for a rolling walker/seat. Was told “don’t need an appointment, just come in.”Arrived at location. Only one walker on the floor, so went to counter to inquire. Was told “That’s the only walker we have right now. It’s not covered by insurance.”Asked “When are you getting more walkers?”“Maybe today, maybe Monday.”“Any way to make sure?”“No, that’s the warehouse.”I was not happy.

I walked in and and was immediately greeted. The ladies at the front were so friendly. Afterwards I waited about 5 minutes and went to the back were Alexis measured and took care of my ankle. She was so funny and we had great conversations. This location I highly recommend!

Love this place I have been coming for years I’m a double amputee and my technician treats me like family he never hesitates to help me if I have a problem he is very kind and sensitive to my situation. You need that when you lose your legs you need to know that all hope is not lost oh and he made me the most awesome legs. Stop by and ask for Mike he’s the best.

My experience at Wright and Fillips Ferndale was wonderful, especially my experience with Jake. He was kind and considerate, but what stood out was his compassion. Companies can train people on how to be kind and considerate,but compassion is something that is innately. Jake possesses this strength.My first visit involved ordering left and right wrist braces as well as diabetic shoes. When I got the call they my shoes were ready, I was excited, but I had a problem. I snagged my left wrist brace on a cabinet and the metal was sticking through. I wasnt sure if the wrist brace could be replaced..in speaking with Jake regarding my issue, he worked to replace the damaged brace and issued me a new one.I am very pleased with the quality of the service and of the compassion Jake displayed.

I LOVE this place. Ive been coming here for a few years now, 2 of which for myself, and I can say that they have always given superb service. I never have to wait and the atmosphere is very calming. I had the honor of having Jake make my Arizona Brace this time and it fits like a glove. Perfect on the first fitting. Im amazed. The staff and in particular Jake went out of their way to accommodate me and my problem. I needed an unloader brace and called and was told what information along with prescription I would need to se if it was covered by Insurance. I called on Tuesday and went in on Wednesday for measurement. I needed it by Thursday evening as I was flying out on Friday. They had it overnighted and I went in on Thursday, had it fitted and was ready for my trip. Thank you Jake and everyone at Ferndale office for the incredible service.

Originally, I came to this location to obtain orthotics for my shoes. I was lucky enough to be assigned to Jake - who created THE MOST comfortable orthotics that I have EVER had. I can’t explain how much better my feet felt immediately!It was a 200% difference of comfort, and I felt as though I was walking on clouds! I left and was absolutely delighted!Fast forward to today. I obtained a pair of Swede-O braces to protect my ankles during long walks. I receive them from another location, but they caused pain to my ankle. The individual there was unable to resolve the issue. However, I knew who could resolve it - JAKE!It was but worth the long drive and he knew exactly what to do - and once again I just left the building feeling ECSTATIC - and BEYOND SATISFIED!I “HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jake because he takes pride in his work, is highly knowledgeable, an excellent problem solver, and a consummate, friendly professional!This is not meant to take anything away from anyone else in that building, but I can only speak about “my” personal, amazing (3) experiences with him. I was just there this morning to get some wrist braces. Though there were issues with my insurance, I was promptly serviced and able to walk out with the braces 20 minutes later.Of particular note was the care I received from Alexis. She was competent, professional and engaging in her conversation with me. She even laughed at my goofy jokes.Bravo!

No one is better when it comes to prosthetics and addressing the frequently changing needs of amputee clients! As a physical therapist, its so important to work collaboratively with prosthetists to accomplish the best possible outcomes. Mike and Justin are always ready, willing, and 100% able to problem solve with me, try new things and even go out on a limb for their patients to be comfortable and successful. Given a choice, Id never my patients anywhere else!

I stopped by with a prescription for a knee brace after a tibial plateau fracture. The technician (wish I remembered his name, but it began with a J) told me the one I had from the hospital was better than the one they could make for me. He adjusted it and added a pad, which stopped the brace from sliding down my leg, and I was not charged. I was so grateful! That brace got me through a month of recovery and now that I need a new low profile brace for the next phase, Ill be going back to Wright & Filippis.

I wish NO STARS OR NEGATIVE STARS WERE AN OPTION!!! This place is THEE ABSOLUTE WORST! The service is horrible and the products are beyond poor! I had to wait almost 2 months for an order that was supposed to take 4 weeks tops! I was calling nearly every other day, after waiting the initial 6 weeks! and speaking to the office manager - just to get the run around even more! Finally I called randomly which happened to be on a day they received a shipment... I was then told they were going to call me IF my order was included in that shipment— they had yet to unpack it! Of course NO ONE CALLED ME! Two days later, I called again... the rep nonchalantly indicated that they had come in the other day!!! Huh??? I thought someone was going to call me as soon as they arrived! Then, she stated she could schedule me for the following week to be fitted!!! AGAIN TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! All the while I’m in excruciating pain!!!! OBVIOUSLY I AM IN NEED of the order OTHERWISE THE DOCTORS WOULD NOT HAVE WRITTEN THE SCRIPT!!!! Not to mention, my order was TOTALLY INCORRECT! I indicated such to the rep that fitted me for my order and even showed her the current devices I had and insisted that there should be a major difference between the two!!! I exclaimed the order that she was giving me wasn’t rectifying the matter at hand. She then suggested that I should have my doctors write me a different script that was TOTALLY unnecessary for my needs ! I took the order to my physicians and had them examine it and they indicated that the order was made VERY POORLY and I DID NOT NEED TO ADVANCE TO THE MEASURES the rep suggested! So I called and talked with the manager AGAIN and was told to bring them back, they would replace them with a new order and it should only take about a week... today marks two weeks... Now the office is avoiding my calls at this point and rudely transferring me to the office managers voicemail - without even answering the phone with the standard store greeting!!! Just a click and cold transfer!!! I wouldn’t send a dead dog to this location! I shouldn’t have to disguise my number to be answered! Nor should I be given the run around at any cost! Be professionals and address the customers’ issues !!! Yes, I am beyond livid!!! Getting my script back along with a refund and reversing my charges to my insurance company is ALWAYS an option... I wonder how long that would take ! I should not have to resort to social media to get a response or the proper care... as I am STILL AWAITING A CALL BACK from this office ON EITHER OPTION from management. The manager is TOTALLY unprofessional which sets the tone for this establishment... there is NO POINT IN COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SERVICES, or lack there of, to management, she is even worse! To be told by a rep that you saw my call and management told you to send me to voicemail is a classic!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! I guess I’ll need to contact BCBS next, maybe my insurance company can get the matter resolved... meanwhile I AM STILL SUFFERING PHYSICALLY !

I signed in and waited for over 30 minutes...no one called me up to the desk. The woman before me had been helped and still no one called me, so I went up to the desk. At this point I didnt have much time left before I had to get back home, so I gave them my ID, insurance card, and script, and the woman said she would call me back soon with my co-pay info so I could come in at my convenience and they would have me on file. I leave and get a call 5 minutes later...she had forgotten to copy my ID and insurance card. Its not like I needed a prosthetic, I just want some damn compression socks! I understand that a majority their clientele is over retirement age and have the whole day to wait, but I have a two month old and not a lot of time to waste.

Troy did a great job! He adapted my sons inserts (no charge) while we were in the process of getting a prescription for new ones. He also did a great job connecting with my son who is usually fearful of any doctor type facility.

Nicole was my orthotist and took excellent care in both the measurements as well as speed of delivery. She was also vastly knowledgable in regards to my many questions.I was on a tight timeline to get the brace and W&F in Ferndale came through in time for my surgery!

The Ferndale store was so cold and unfriendly. When I walked in no one greeted me; when I greeted them I felt I was brothing them. The service sucks and getting your ordered items is the longest I have had to wait ever. I do not recommend this office to my worst enemy. I will not be returning!

Places like this is why the medical field has a bad rep. I walked in yesterday, they looked at me and then didn’t even acknowledge me in the empty room. I had to start the conversation and let them know what I needed, as they gave me a look of annoyance. After going black and forth, I finally had to say “ this is all very new to me, please help me understand the process” . I then found out that I had to make an appointment, which I did. Now, today, I walked in and again the 3 people behind the desk ignored me. I signed in a sat down in the non welcoming waiting area. The clinician was very kind and if I could give 2 ratings, I would give her a 5 but all and all, the experience was undesirable. Acknowledging someone who walks into your establishment and simply asking how you can assist are basic customer service skills.

Terrible service. My script satfor 9 days. Twice they said they would call me back but never did. My Dr kept faxing over more info but they could never find it. When I gave up and went to get my script i didnt even get an apology just an ok. They get 1 star reviews for a reason. If you are in a medical field it should be to help people not just go ok when you drop the ball

I signed in and waited 25 mins for the rep to tell me we dont carry the unit I needed. This process is broken! I was never greeted nor was there any eye contact given. No friendly faces on the front desk. This couldve been avoided if someone just said Hello.

Was turned away twice, first they refused to fill a prescription for a knee brace, second refusal was for icing equipment for post surgical swelling. So angry and frustrated.
