Kim is great! She is so skilled, fast and friendly! Her space at Sola Salon has an ambience that is very relaxing. Cant wait to go back.

I’ve been seeing Kim at Twin Lakes Hair Salon for 12+ years now. Crazy how fast the time flies. After every appointment with her I always leave happy and my hair looks great. She’s now moved to Studio #22 in the Sola Salon studios building. I recommend her highly! Kim strives for perfection. I have zero doubt in her abilities, I completely trust her with my hair and that’s saying something. :)

This was my first visit and I will definitely be returning. My hair color and hair cut were outstanding. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Kim was very professional and personable quickly making me feel comfortable. It was obvious she takes pride in her work!

The hair stylist was amazing. I went in as a first time customer for a basic mens cut and she treated me like I was a long time customer. She listened to what I wanted and she took her time to make sure everything was blended properly and everything was the correct length. It is definitely worth the money. Other cheaper salons you are just the next one in line. At Twin Lakes, you are her only customer.

Highly recommend!!!!! I had a bad experience at another salon with a messed up haircut and so I found Kim and she got me in that same week and was so friendly so nice and I will definitely be using her for any future hair appointments!!

This place is amazing !!! I went there earlier today and Everything was extremely clean, the owner is super professional and nice. They gave me the exact hair cut that I wanted. Before going to the appointment I they gave me very clear guidelines ( for how they are handling appointment due to COVID ). When I got there they opened the door for me, had me wash and Sanitize. Overall I think this is one of the best hair salons in federal way and I would highly recommend this place to anyone! They do great work while staying very clean and making you feel safe!

I been going to a nail salon close by Kims salon. Out of curiosity I checked her salon. When I went in, theres barely any staff around. So I thought, this must not be a good one. I looked around and I saw all her awards for being the best salon for some years now. Then one day I had to get my hair fix due to a cut, more specifically a bangs that I had done at Bella Red Salon which I paid so around $60 outta door but was poorly done that I cried walking home that day because I thought that it cant be fix. I searched for a different salon in my area and found Twin Lakes Hair Salon, Kim gladly took me in and reassured me that she can make it look good. In my mind, I was hesitant and thought of Kim as being overly confident. She proved me wrong! I got tons of compliment even from strangers on how nice the style of hair was. Fast forward, couple days ago, i got bored again of how my hair look like as I had not been to a salon in awhile. Went to see Kim and showed her few pics of hairstyle that I like. She politely suggested a different one that she thinks would compliment the shape of my face even more. Not the same style as she did in the past. But for sure, she knows what she is saying and doing. She walk the talk! You the best, Kim! Now, I cant wait till you open at your new location which is even more closer at my place! Outta door I paid lesser than what Bella Red Salon had charged me for a simple bangs that the hairstylist cant even do right.

My wife and I were visiting family and had a haircut here three years ago. We never stopped talking about how great the cut and service were. Back in Federal Way, we went to Twin Lakes Salon this year. It has and will be the best all around service Ive received at a salon. The cut is sharp, the shampooing is incredibly relaxing, and the stylists are so nice. Definitely recommended.

I love the service I receive at Twin Lakes Hair Salon. Kim has been my stylist for about a year now. She is wonderful. I purchase products that I need there also and pricing is reasonable for all services. Sometimes when something is not exactly the way you want it, try a second time. The girls are sweet and the setting is very comfortable and friendly.

I took my best friend here to get her hair, Makeup, and nails done for her wedding. They did such a great job on her and our bridal party! I will definitely keep coming here in the future!

Needed a new stylist and was fed up with my hair so I walked in to see if they could take me on. Kim was super nice and friendly. I LOVE the cut! I always worry about seeing someone new as I have very curly hair that also gets very frizzy. This cut is fantastic and Kim f2f ave me some great styling tips. Definitely will be back.

I moved here from California. I discovered this place 4 years ago. I and my family are currently their customers. I like this place very much. The stylists are so nice and friendly, I love my haircut and scalp massage, and my Mom really like her hair-color, cut and style. I would recommend this place to everyone.

She explained very well on how to do the best way on my sons hair since he has a cow lick. It is hard to brush his hair and she did a fabulous job.

Most expensive salon for a 2 year old toodler.My son already had short hair I just wanted it to look clean it was an emergency. It took less then 2 minutes and got charged $20 and she didnt make it that good. I will stick with my regular salon they charge less and they do a way better job!

I wouldnt go here again, I asked for a 1/4 off the ends, and she ended up taking off about 3 inches! Ive been growing my hair out, and this was frustrating to say the least. Also, she kept pushing me to let her thin the ends because my hair is too thick; I acquiesced but regretted it as I watched her botch the ends of my hair. Every other hair salon Ive ever been to, the stylists who cut my hair always compliment the thickness of my hair, but at Twin Lakes, the stylist was insulting. PLUS she didnt shampoo or condition my hair, I asked and she told me it would cost extra and made the comment, it must take forever to blow dry your thick hair. My hair is straight and thick, very smooth, soft, and easy to handle, but apparently too difficult for this salon to work with...Waste of money and time!!! Worst hair cutting experience Ive had.
