Received excellent care for my knee pain (torn meniscus). Had surgery and completed the PT also. Dr. Powell sat with me and explained everything in detail and made sure I understood. Found the nurses and staff knowledgeable and friendly. If youre in pain and looking for an orthopedist, I highly recommend - my experience has been very good.

Having known Dr. Powell and some of his staff (Margie) since he opened his first office in Springdale, I can honestly say I would not hesitate to refer anyone to him. He is caring, compassionate and very knowledgeable. He has helped me with a foot injury on two different occasions. Margie is a sweetheart and wants to make sure all the patients feel welcome and comfortable. Even though I dont know the other members of his staff by name, I can say that they are always pleasant. They even call you at home to make sure you are okay if there is a great concern. The best place for orthopedic care in my opinion.

I had a knee injury due to a wakeboarding accident that never seemed to heal correctly. After 4 months of different therapies, I decided to see Dr. Powell. He had a very high sense of urgency...which scared me. After a second opinion matched what Dr. Powell was recommending, I decided to have surgery, after which, he recommended aggressive physical therapy. If I had not taken Dr. Powells advice, I would likely have a permanent knee condition drastically limiting my knee range of motion. Three months after surgery and intense PT, I have gained full range of motion and am starting to regain some of my normal activities such as mountain biking. With continued work toward my goals, I feel like I will make a full recovery. This is all because Dr. Powell let me know the severity of my condition and reacted quickly. I cannot thank him and his staff enough for helping me regain my very active lifestyle.

Dr. Powell has treated both of my daughters for running & soccer injuries. He did a wonderful job getting them back on their feet. He has also treated me for achilles & knee injuries, including knee surgery. Dr. Powell is very attentive & really listens to his patients. He takes his time to prescribe the best course of treatment, taking into account what the patients goals are. His front office staff & nurses are all very kind & helpful, and the physical therapists on staff are great. We have received excellent treatment from Dr. Powell, & that is why we have continued to see him for all of our injuries. I would highly recommend him to others.

Dr. Powell and his team have helped me through two knee scopes. I love that he tells it like it is, whether it be good, bad or ugly. I know whatever the facts may be, Im in great hands with Dr. Powell, as well as his physical therapy team. He says, I cant make you 18 again... but, he has come close, as well as helping me plan for the future and preservation of my mobility. At 42, hopefully I have many more years to care for these knees that I have been so hard on thus far! I trust Dr. Powell with any issues I should experience in the future.

I went to Dr Powell with my knee and he suggested several things, but allowed me to decide if I wanted to try physical therapy, which included pool therapy first. I really appreciated his kindness and concern for what I thought. His staff was also very kind and caring when I interacted with them. I would highly recommend Dr. Powell.

Dr. Powell and staff have fixed both knees after two different horse related incidents. I was most impressed by their concern for what my goal was, what I wanted to get back to doing again. Powell Orthopedics Team met and exceeded my expectations to be fully functional to compete in barrel racing and roping again. I am 55. I definitely recommend Powell Orthopedics.

I had knee surgery years ago at another doctor. I always hurt after it. After a long time of pain Dr Powell checked out my knee and gave me options. After the surgery I had no pain. I didnt even need the pain meds and still thank him to this day.My son got injured in football and Dr Powell was the first person I took him to.I highly recommend him.

I was experiencing severe shoulder pain and had a horrible experience with another orthopedic physician. I made an appointment for a second opinion with Dr. Powell and he was amazing. He immediately ordered an x ray and MRI. I was diagnosed, given a cortisone shot and prescribed physical therapy immediately. My pain is gone! He was very informative and attentive, I highly recommend Dr. Powell!!

Dr. Powell is great and his staff is amazing. My ACL surgery went well and physical therapy got me back to my active lifestyle without any complications. Everyone in the office and physical therapy clinic are comfortable and friendly. I especially like having physical therapy at the same location as the Dr who did my surgery and follow up appointments as I felt everything/everyone was able to be in line.

I had to get both of my knees worked on in the course of a year and dr. powell and his staff did a great job with that. hes really quick and his staff is really friendly. but i had some issues receiving their bills and even though I was making payments once I got them, I was months behind. Because I couldnt pay in full, they sent my account to collections and terminated me as a patient. I didnt know that last bit until I called to make an appointment. So unless you have enough money to pay for all your treatments upfront, I dont know that I would pick Powell Orthopedics. I mean I appreciate their work but they made it pretty clear that theyre definitely in it for the money. I dont want anyone else to be in this situation. I have various medical issues and Im always working on paying down a bill and all the other doctors Ive seen will continue to see and treat you as long as youre trying to pay. So if youre like me maybe you should go to someone else.

All the the staff were so nice and very understanding of the physical and emotional pain of an ACL tear for an athlete. Jami, Mary and Kelly especially were very helpful.Dr. Powell was very transparent in his treatment recommendations and reasoning.

I saw Dr. Powell and his staff, including P.T. Shawn Adams for treatment, surgery, and physical therapy of my knee deterioration after an ACL/MCL surgery 20+ years ago. I had a knee scope, PRP injections and physical therapy at Powell Orthopedics that has significantly reduced damage and pain from years of wear and tear. I chose Dr. Powell because of his extensive work with athletes of all ages. I knew he would help me continue to be an very active athlete, and am very pleased with the results and back to being fully active just a few months post surgery.

The Tenex procedure he did on my foot for Plantar Fascitis was phenomenal. Very little down time and very little pain for the end result to be pain free after years of hurt!

Dr. Powell and his staff couldnt have been nicer. No unnecessary waiting, they answered all my questions and were very courteous.
