Worst customer service ever! My name had to be repeated 3 times, the representative on the phone was rude and insisted on repeated documents to be sent after a month of checking for an appointment. I will never refer anyone to this clinic for anything.

My Dad has been a patient of Dr. Weldens for several years. I have never met a Doctor that had more compassion than her. She always goes above and beyond for my fathers care. She is truly an angel on earth. My family is blessed to have her as one of his doctors. I would give her a thousand stars of I could.

The physician assistant is great. I really like her for her concern and kindness. She appeared as very competent, caring, attentive, and professional. The attending physician was the polar opposite. I had never met him and he gave me the results of a bronchoscopy done in Pinehurst. He entered the room without knocking, did not say hello, called out my name, did not ask how I was doing but said he had to review my chart. He didnt even look at me much less examine me. He then pulled out a digital recorder and stsrted dictating his notes as he read my report. Listening to him dictate his notes is how I found out the growth in my lung had malignant cells and that half of my lung would have to come out. I found that out almost to the day a year after my brother had died with lung cancer. I tried to speak and say, hey, buddy, I speak doctor and understand what you are saying but he waved angrily with his hand to silence me. At the end of dictating his note - which took all of a couple of minutes at most - he took even less time to tell me that tests would be ordered to determine how much lung could be removed. He did not once ask me if I had any questions. He then got up and started toward the open door, and when I stood to ask a question he pointed a finger and ordered me to stay put and go nowhere. After walking into the hallway he suddenly turned around, angrily said something about hating Medicare because of the regulations, took out a pen, and took all of 30 seconds to write something on a form. Needless to say that was the last time I ever saw him. I felt grossly violated. He treated me as if I was some contemptible, lower class untouchable barely worthy of his holy presence. I reported him to folks in Pinehurst who all rolled their eyes upon hearing his name. Hey, Pinehurst, you need to do something about him before someone sues you.

Showed up for my scheduled sleep study, rang doorbell & called for 20 mins before someone from Pinehurst office answered & told me the Fayetteville office was closed due to the water issue. I had never received a call. Rescheduled, called the Friday before appointment to confirm, and showed up again for my rescheduled appointment, was told I wasnt on the list and that I didnt have insurance preauthorization. I called and spoke to the office manager, Amy Irvin to explain my dilemma. Not ONCE did she apologize for my inconvenience. She was very defensive & kept saying they called and my voice mail was not set up. I asked what number they had and it was the wrong number. She made it seem like it was my fault they had the wrong number, again never ONCE apologizing for the error. I work in a busy radiology department and customer service is number one. If a customer is inconvenienced for ANY reason, we APOLOGIZE and try to resolve the issue. This office manager needs a few classes in office management and customer service. I will be seeking a referral elsewhere and recommend you dont waste your time here.

Worst Sleep study clinic ever. I started snoring loudly in the last few years so I was referred to this sleep clinic. This specialist is in network for my insurance company. The doctor sees me, 40-dollar copay and recommends an in-home sleep study since my insurance would not cover an onsite sleep study at the clinic, supposedly. So, I go to the follow up appointment, another 40-dollar copay and the test is inconclusive. The doctor then says she’ll work on some paperwork to get me approved for the onsite sleep study. Get the bill for the at home sleep study which is strapping a senor to your chest and finger and going to sleep, $1,250 dollars, discounted down because it’s in network, the insurance company pays 0 dollars and I end up with $243 dollars out of pocket. I pay the bill since I put $500 dollars into a HSA every year for copays and out of pocket expenses. Go to the sleep study over night at the clinic. Come in for the results, another 40-dollar copay and I don’t have sleep apnea or anything else they can treat me for. Get the bill, $1,500 dollars and my out of pocket expenses are $507 dollars. So, tell me again why I should have done the home study instead of just getting the onsite sleep study. I deploy overseas a lot so I finally got a new primary care provider. To add insult to injury on all of the above experience, my excellent new doctor on my first visit looks down my throat, says my uvula is causing some of my issues and recommends me straight away to an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist. Most like to do outpatient surgery known as UPPP which removes some of the uvula to fix sleep issues. So I’m contacting them tomorrow to see if they can help get the price down because this is ridiculous.
