I had a no show appt having just gotten back from deployment and leaving the army full time mom new job all in a few months, it slipped my mind that I had an appt (Im human), but how would they have known if they didnt ask or cared to follow up or even allow me to reschedule. I understand calling back to reschedule which now I finally have the time to do months later not having known their policy on no shows, most clinics all you to have missed at least 2 appts and after the 2nd no show they typically drop you. I received a denial letter for my 2nd appt as soon as I found out I called and tried to explain my situation, at first she was cordial on the phone then she got nasty with me for having a difference in opinion. Why have such nasty attitude you DONT know what people have going on in their lives. I will not be using my insurance that I work hard to receive waisted on poor communication and ill customer service and neither should you.

I have been going here for a couple of years and I have always been treated with professional in person and over the phone. I have come along way with my RA and I owed it to Dr Hudack and Dr Melton because of there knowledge and expertise. I tell everyone about Lafayette Clinic I’m very pleased I recommended this clinic Five star. Thank you for all you and your staff do

I recommend this this place. Been going here a couple years or so. I thought the doctor made an issue with my medicines, but it was actually the pharmacy. So really I havent had any issues with this place. Its one of the best and if you can find a good doctor try to hold on to them, because a good caring doctor is hard to find these days.

I have found Dr. Melton and Ms. Haduk very professional and personable. They address my concerns quickly and keep my primary care physician informed.

I came here for help and what I got was disrespectful front office staff and a lazy and a rude medical assist named Simone. I was recently tested for HLA-B27 and it was positive, my family has a long history of autoimmune disorders and I desperately needed a great rheumatologist. What I got was a physician assistant who wrote misspelled notes, gave me anti inflammatories and told me not to worry about it and I was too young to even show signs, they triple booked and had so many other patients coming in at the exact same time. I felt blown off, unimportant and was treated poorly by staff when I called and explained I was having trouble breathing due to the swelling. If you need help I would avoid this place, avoid the drama and please seek out an office that wants to help. I’m disgusted.

I love this clinic. They have been very helpful and seem to genuinely care. Hudak is patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. The lab people are very friendly and skilled. I wish more practices were like this!

There is no way I would ever go back to this clinic. Dr Melton is without doubt the most unprofessional MD and lacks awareness of her patients needs that I have or will ever encounered. Please find yourself another place to seek help. A waste of time and money. Writing s negative againist someone is the hardest thing to do, but I must to keep someon elsee from experiencing what myself and other have experienced. Read other reviews. The one star is for the greeting I received when I entered the facility.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC! ZERO StarsI’m sharing my Mom’s and my Dad’s last visit at Lafayette Clinic. Please Read! Forever missing my Dad, 💔 Mary KuhnsI am executrix for Francis J Shunk deceased. I am making a complaint against Dr Quenesta. Melton PA Pamela Hudak and the Lafayette Clinic of Fayetteville North Carolina. At 76 years of age my husband did have some medical problems. He had gone to this clinic and had seen both providers for over 15 years. He went to this clinic for a pain in his side. For this he was given a prescription for 20 mg of Baclofen 3 times a day and tramadol once a day. The PA did not appear concerned that he had only 1 kidney and a partial kidney. One kidney had been removed at UNC Hospital years earlier and this was in their records. He did take the Baclofen at 1pm and again at 10 pm and the tramadol. the next morning there was no response from him and EMT was called to pull him out of his chair and take him to Cape Fear VAlley Medical Center in Fayetteville. Both attendants said the medicines were too strong as did the emergency room doctor who worked on flushing out his kidney. Had he had both the procedure would have been enough. He did not open his eyes for the first 2 days at the hospital. He was never strong enough to return home and was sent to rehab and eventually died. lN my opinion (1) the PA should have reviewed his chart. He had been their patient for over 15 years. She would have found that he did not have 2 kidneys. (2). Dr Melton did not supervise and did not check his chart or she would have realized that the combined dosage of both medications were too strong. After a 6 week stay in the hospital And dialysis treatments did not help he passed away on October 7 2015. I feel there was no remorse shown after his death. We had been married over 52 years at the time of his death. He served his country for 20 years and as a county magistrate for 20 years. My life as I knew it changed overnight it was painful to witness what he went through. PLEASE SHARE

By far THE WORST clinic for anyone expecting help or a diagnosis. The staff does not communicate. They NEVER call back when they say they will. Every time I have anything wrong with my condition Im told to go to the emergency room. The emergency room is not for autoimmune complications they just refer you right back to your specialist because THATS THE SPECIALIST JOB SPECIALIZING IN THESE CONDITIONS!! Do not even waste your time with this place if youre in extreme chronic pain itll only get worse. The nurses always have a rude attitude. Ive come to realize the nurses or medical assistants never relay messages to the dr after going into my appointment and finding the dr has no idea what Im talking about in regards to messages and conversations Ive had with said nurses. I received a steroid shot and had a bad reaction. After trying to get a hold of the office for 3 days I finally did (again by a nurse because the drs are never available or not even in the office) SURPRISE, I was again told to go to the emergency room because the side effects I was experiencing were nothing related to what they gave me. They then refused to schedule me a sooner appointment to speak with my dr directly. Receptionist told me the dr wrote 4 weeks so I have to wait. So I went to my primary care and was advised the symptoms were at the top of the list of side effects. Go figure. I should have know they werent going to be helpful after my first visit when I was told to come back in a month to start treatment. A month later I go in ready to start and they said I needed bloodwork before I can start the injections...so why wasnt I advised to do that during the entire month I was waiting for this appointment??!??. They offered me no other options but to leave to get my bloodwork and WAIT ANOTHER MONTH to start my treatment. Now theyre telling me to contact express scripts for my medication because the rest is up to me. And guess what?! Express scripts doesnt even have the prescription for me because the incompetence is overflowing in that office!!!! So thanks for wasting my time letting my condition get worse to the point I can barely interact with my kids or walk around with them. Its great to see how unimportant your patients are with irreversible damage to joints who need care and treatment quickly. I would gladly waste more time and sue this practice for patient neglect and malpractice. But for now Im warning anyone who needs help with a chronic disease or illness to stay away from this rheumatology clinic.

I have been afforded the opportunity to be seen by Dr. Melton, Dr. Watson and PA Hudak for Juvenile Rhuematoid Onset Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. I have been a patient at this clinic for over 30 years, and these providers have been instrumental in the success of my therapy. When I left the college I was referred elsewhere and couldn’t of been happier when I return home and started seeing Dr. Watson. But even when she left I started seeing PA Hudak, and found out Everyone had something to offer me as I was growing in a different season in my health care needs. I am truly grateful for this practice and not only do they meet my physical needs they address my mental needs, without even realizing it.

This office would not even see a friend of mine because of where she lived, if a patient wants to travel to see a specific provider how can you deny them that right. I will not be recommending this office to anyone.

Small but ok at first. Thought my daughter would stick to seeing one doctor but I guess its whoever is available and theyll tell me other ways to treat her eczema! I like to stick with one dr. I also noticed they would prescribe creams that my insurance would not cover! Another thing they say they are open at 815 mon-thurs....how come they dont answer their phone till 835-840? All the time! If youre running a business time is always crucial!

I was met with nothing but unprofessionalism from the staff of this office. My daughter was a patient there prior to us moving and since we have PCSd back I guess things have changed for the worse. Ive tried since 8/28/2015 to get an appointment with this clinic for my 11 yr. old daughter who has severe allergies and asthma. They kept saying they had not received her referral in which Tricare mailed and then faxed it to them 3 times. They refused to call Tricare to verify. They had no concern that it had been almost 2 months since her referral and she had not seen a doctor. I have since called Tricare to have her referral sent to another doctor/clinic. When I called to speak to an office manager to let her know how I was being treated I was met with resistance and was told I would have to leave a message. Im sure that message will not be returned. I would recommend taking yourself or child elsewhere due to the lack of compassion and care this clinic has.
