Ariel is fantastic. This is NOT a spa experience. This is an informed, medical professional, that is going to do what it takes to make you better. She followed my session up with an entire training and anatomy clinic, with homework. If youre looking for a serene, relaxing massage, this isnt it. If youre looking for a strong handed sports massage that will leave you with tears of joy and pain, but feeling like a million bucks in two days--- this is it.

I had what felt like a torn muscle in my shoulder that inhibited all movement. After it didnt get any better for over 4 months, I finally got a massage from Ariel. In just one session she removed the tension from my muscles, released the stiffness that had built up in my shoulder, sold me some equipment to exercise at home, and made the whole experience fun. All I can say is that I should have gone there much earlier, and will do so in the future.

I’ve Followed Ariel around since her beginnings. Since opening her own shop; Ive used Ariel and Kari. Both are so amazing in their own special way. Competitors Edge is by far then BEST place to get a Massage. I choose deep tissue. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. It’s definitely the good hurt.

Had a misunderstanding today with the online booking and rudely called this facility to cancel my appointment. She responded kindly and was friendly and seems knowledgeable. I didnt recieve any services. But I imagine it is a nice place to go. I suggest calling instead of making an online appointment to avoid confusion.

Ariel is the very deepest massage therapist I have ever had. I am a dental hygienist of 38 years and have for about 30 of those years I routinely would see a massage therapist . I have to have the knots worked out & I can definitely tell you Ariel can & will but she is so kind & will listen if it is too intense for you . She has helped me tremendously & I will be returning for more !!!!!

I had a wonderful experience with Ariel! The massage was excellent but what made the experience really stand out to me was her educational approach. I learned a lot about ways to stretch and foam roll at home and about the musculoskeletal system. From now on I’ll be coming back monthly!

I know this is marketed as an athletes massage place, but as a graduate student who sits in front of a computer all day, she was great at alleviating my neck and shoulder pain. Ariel is obviously a professional. It is very obvious that she knows what she is doing and she is incredibly smart. She walks you through everything that she is going to do and even tells you which parts of your body she is helping so you can learn a little something too! I went to Ariel because I have been having knee pain over the past two months that has been progressively getting worse. I have to admit, the massage was painful but if you are really looking to get to feeling better this is where you need to go. This place is da bomb. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They are also more than willing to show you how to use the equipment they use as well as offer you the chance to buy the equipment for yourself. They offer classes to learn in detail on how and why you should do things like stretching, using a foam roller correctly and cupping to name a few. The owner Ariel Mcpherson is an inspiration and very knowledgeable as well as passionate about your health and well being.

Cured my shoulder.I saw her after moving something like railroad ties and did something to my shoulder. After two weeks of being unable to pick up my kids due to the pain, it got worse--aggravating pain throughout the day.I saw her once. Left the office with, say, 80% improvement. The next day I had zero shoulder pain--100% improvement. Its awesome. 5/5 recommend.

Ariel is both an excellent teacher and a powerful massage therapist. I was very reluctant to go to any massage place, but after taking a few of her classes at Anytime Fitness Fayetteville on Joyce Blvd, I decided to give it a try. She is very professional, listens to you concerning your problem and then takes that information and goes to work. Her treatment was very effective at improving my range of motion and the overall experience was very helpful in teaching me how to help myself through stretching and massage. I highly recommend her if you are serious about unleashing your bodies potential in competition or have a particular ailment that is related to your range of motion and or discomfort when moving your body.

I have been receiving massages for years now but it wasnt until I met Ariel when I realized all of the former massages I had received were just OK. The very first time I met Ariel and received my first massage by her, I knew right away I had found the best massage therapist in NWA. Ariel is very educated in the human body and can relate that knowledge to the pain points you are feeling in any given session. I always get the deep tissue massage, and although Ariel is small in stature, dont think she cant give you the best deep tissue massage you have ever had. I attest she can! I have been going to Ariel for over 2 years now and getting maintenance massages every other week has allowed me to feel younger again, have more flexibility again and most of all, I dont get the reoccurring kinks in my body that I once had. Ariel is simply the best and you will be amazed by what she can do for you too.

I got a prenatal massage from Ariel and it was wonderful! I like moderate to deep pressure and she met all my expectations and more. She is tiny but don’t let that fool you- her hands are very strong. She’s very good at what she does and I’d highly recommend her.

I went to Ariel when I couldn’t stay pain free w/chiropractic care. What a difference when she massaged me before my chiropractor appts. Healing has been so much more efficient since I started having her massage me. She gave me doable exercises that didn’t overwhelm me, too. I am so impressed with her knowledge as well as her strength. She keeps tabs on my pain level and find less painful ways to loosen my knotted muscles when I get too uncomfortable. Ariel was amazing! I went to her for lower back, hip, and knee pain. She gave me the most painful massage of my life, and it was amazing! She spent an hour with me after my massage time showing me exercises and stretches I can do at home to help myself. After 1 massage I already have less pain! Ariel has always been a huge help to me in my recovery. With her knowledge and skills she is able to help relax you and pin point any troubled areas you might have. I have always thought I was wasting my money seeing massage therapist due to the fact they cant ever get deep enough. But with Ariels Ashiatsu skills I have never had such relief. Recovery from long gym sessions are much shorter now. Ariel also sends you home with stretching techniques to help better aid your recovery. Id recommend her to anyone.

This massage was everything I was looking for. After having a massage at a different provider I walked out thinking wow there was no pressure. They just smeared warm oil on me for an hour.At Competitors edge Arial really worked out the kinks and knots in my muscles.10/10 will go again.

I herniated my L4-5 disc back in April and I’ve done PT, injections, chiropractor, etc..I was beginning to get discouraged and then I was referred to Ariel. She is the best massage therapist I’ve ever been to. She helped me with stretches, gave me homework to do, and even text me to check on me next day! Do yourself a favor and go see her!
