DO NOT GO SEE THIS DOCTOR. Now that Ive read the compliants I know I shouldnt have. I took my daughter to see Dr Hutchins in the Sams Club in June, never got her RX on paper bc he said it was being emailed. He is unprofessional, appointment took forever, I saw reports that he touched some patients inappropriately- OMG. I did not see that before. Now all of his numbers are disconnected and no reply to email. Sams employees and Vision Care Service employess both say they have no clue how to reach him or access his records. Maybe hes in jail?? Not that you can reach him for an appointment or anything else but if you were able to, I would run far far away!

I brought my daughter in for a check up and her first set of contacts. We are new to the area and WILL NOT use any other eye doctor!!! These people were so kind and helpful! They made sure to try and save me the most money and worked with my insurance well!!! They were so warm, welcoming, and patient with my daughter, as she struggled to learn to put on her first set of contacts!!!! Super clean and nice office and the best set of people in the industry!!! I can not tell what a good experience I had. From the ladies at the front desk to the doctor. Everything was first class. I would highly recommend anyone to visit them and continue to use them.

My daughter and I sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes beyond the appointment time before even being taken back for the preliminary tests. When the Optometrist finally got to us, he had my daughter in the chair for maybe two minutes. Asking her if things were blurry and not even waiting for her response before clicking to the next thing. I have very low confidence in the prescription she was given. Rest assured we will not be back.

Dr. Hutchins has the most endearing personality and makes you feel like family. He will take care of all your eye needs and make sure you are 100% happy.

I like the way he uses the videos and pictures on the tv monitor to explain things. Took his time and that is nice for a change at a busy doctors office. I highly recommend Dr. Hutchins.

Best eye exam I ever had. Office staff was great especially Sandra. They were very helpful with my getting the contact lenses I need. The doctor was very good too. He explained everything. He was very thorough and made sure I understood everything that was going on with my eyes. He even showed me pictures of my eyes and showed me video explanations of what was going on. Dr. Hutchins will definitely be my eye doctor from now on. Thank you to your office!

Had a great experience. Office staff was friendly and helpful. I had a bit of an insurance issue(my fault) but office staff handled it with no trouble. I like the modern appearance and all the digital instruments they use in providing service and care. Dr. Hutchins was very knowledgeable and fun to talk with. Made appointments for entire family. I will definitely be back and will tell my friends.

I had a noon appointment. I didnt get out of there until 1:40pm. They were obviously overbooked. The doctor did not wear a mask. The staff did, but the doctor seemed oblivious and seemed irritated when I asked him wear one in the exam room. Very disappointing. I will NOT go back.

I had an appt 7/1/2020 and the doctor was incredibly friendly and the receptionists were laughing and looked like they really enjoyed their job. The entire experience far surpassed other experiences I’ve had at other places with customer service. That being said, I would highly recommend not coming here through COVID-19. The doctor was not wearing a mask and I never saw anything sanitized after use. There were people coming in without face masks, touching their face and then touching the counter and leaving handprints everywhere. I had to ask for the equipment to be sanitized before using it, and no one washed their hands the entire time I was there (around an hour) and the receptionist continually took off her mask to talk to customers. This needs to be seriously addressed. I washed my hands personally 5 times throughout my visit while requesting sanitization of equipment, and I’m thankful I did because if I hadn’t, these things would not have been done.

Amazing office. Been wearing contacts and glasses for years and this is best exam I have ever gotten. I especially like the friendly staff and all the technology. Dr. Hutchins was very professional and thorough and made sure all my questions were answered. He even walked outside with me to make sure I could see well with my new contacts. I will be back with the rest of my family. I highly recommend this place!!!

Fantastic visit! Dr. Hutchins was very kind and professional, as were the receptionists. The exam itself was very technologically advanced, my eyes were scanned with a machine before the appointment and then Dr. Hutchins tweaked my astigmatism prescriptions in the exam room. Very friendly and fast service.

I was told to go here by a work friend. From the day I actually spoke to anyone on the phone I felt that they were a little rude. But it wasn’t until the day of my appointment when I realized just how rude they were. The two women who sat at the front (I’m assuming they were the receptionists) but they were extremely rude...at one point during my visit while standing there one of the ladies at the front put a clip board up to attempt to cover her mouth while she “cut” her eyes at me. Again I’m assuming she was talking about me, but regardless that’s rude. She repeated said my name wrong after I told her multiple times how to pronounce it. When I was checking out and paying my co payment instead of her handing me the things she needed me to sign, my debt card, or my receipt.. she laid it on the counter and slid it over to me. It was just so unprofessional and rude. I personally do not see myself going back in there. However the place next door where you can take your prescription and get glasses, they were really nice and polite. I wish I would’ve had a better experience.

Due to friends experiences with this business, I cannot recommend it. However beyond their experiences, the rude and condescending nature of their replies anytime someone leaves a bad review is an instant red flag for me.

I have had the worst experience regarding the receptionists for this business. The doctor himself was great-- very friendly and professional. But I have been treated rudely by the receptionists on multiple occasions.I had to purchase a single box of contacts to finish out the year and was told it would take roughly a week and they would call me. I waited a week and a half and had not heard from them, so I tried calling twice and they never answered. I wait another week and stop by in person and am told it will take another week. Another week passes and still no call from them, so I call and the first call they never answer. The second call they answer and put me on hold only to have them hang up after a couple of minutes, then the third call a lady answers, and I tell her Im wanting to know about the contacts I ordered. She tells me that they are ready, and when I ask if I can stop in Saturday to pick up my order she said that was fine. I stop by a little before 4 pm Saturday and the business is closed.I have waited over a month for a single box of contacts and was lied to repeatedly regarding my order. If I pay $70 for a single box of contacts, it should not take that long to get it.Again, I have the utmost respect for the Doctor himself. But the women working up front are setting an extremely poor example as to how the business is ran.

What a great office! I got exactly what I needed and Dr. Hutchins and his staff were so professional and friendly. I needed a special contact lens and Dr. Hutchins new exactly what was right for me. I see great. I especially like how thorough Dr. Hutchins explains everything. I am new to the area and I have found my new eye doctor...I will be back.

Horrible service!! Complete rip off. Staff was rude. I waited for an hour to be seen for 3 minutes and sent out to wait again. Never got an actual eye exam and they charged me $140 and my insurance $100. They couldnt explain the changes. The lady kept saying I dont know. The detailed bill I asked her for took longer than the time they spent with me. And it was a joke and didnt match what my insurance company told me they billed. This company is a fraud and just out for a quick buck. I am going to a different doctor and when my prescription comes back different they can get charged with insurance fraud. My copay was supposed to be $10 and without insurance it was $99 quoted to me. $240 doesnt equal $99 no matter how common core you get.Response: you did not interact with me at ALL! you talked only to your coworker the entire time I was there. Except for the one time another customer came in and you quoted her the same $99 that you quoted me without insurance. I am the one that told you I didnt need to give you my health insurance card. I knew i hadnt met my deductible yet Its January no one has. I have great insurance which you have no idea about because you dont have that information. I told you I didnt a want medical exam and I only wanted an eye exam. Which I didnt get. Yes I got upset when you told me how much I owed because that is not what was agreed to. Why couldnt you answer my questions about the charges? Why did you have to make up numbers to equal what you charged me? That still dont match what you billed my vision insurance all you had to do was explain why the charges were different and you could not answer that. That is your job. I paid for a service that I didnt agree to and didnt recieve the service I needed. I should have read the reviews before I went about how rude you guys are. No lesson like one you bought! I will not be back and I will make sure at least everyone I know knows how horrible it was now that your response was not how can we make it better, but it must be my fault. Great customer service there. Your response alone shows how unprofessional your staff is. No effort to fix it. Word of mouth rule happy customers tell 2 people unhappy tell everyone!
