I don’t know where to start because I’m speechless. I’ve had several doctors appointments in the past few weeks and this was by far the best experience! I was referred here by another doctor because I’ve been in constant pain and I’m glad he sent me here. Every member of the staff was so helpful and polite. Dr. R was very knowledgeable, patient and gentle. During the exam she was able to tell me where it hurt without me saying anything. Words can not express how grateful I am for this office and I look forward to a pleasant road to recovery.

This is a team dedicated to knowing and understanding you and your needs first and foremost before putting together your medical treatment plan. This is care focused on the person as a whole and not tunnel vision on the issue that brings you in. A team of military veterans who also understands the demands both physical and mental that career field entails is refreshing and a joy to communicate in a manner only a veteran knows how to do. I highly recommend anyone dissatisfied with their current Healthcare provider take the time to schedule a visit here and get a second opinion.

I was recommended by a friend to come here when I was pregnant and miserable. Dr. Cook fixed my hip and my low back. Turns out I had a awful ligament issue in my right hip so he fixed that and I was able to walk normally! No more grunting and groaning to get out of bed! Now I bring my baby here for adjustments for his acid reflux.

This is my first time coming to Valley Physical Medicine and I am so grateful to have found this practice. The provider was patient, knowledgeable and caring. Dr Raminski took the time to listen to my concerns and I never felt rushed.

Since I’ve been coming to this facility my Activities of daily living has improved greatly. I was in a wheel chair when I first started at this facility due to my medical diagnosis but the Amazing staff came up with a plan that we ( myself and the VPM family)will work towards accomplishing my goal of getting out of my chair. Dr. Ruminski and her staff at Valley Physical Medicine are all incredible. Initially, I was concerned that I would have limited options in modalities and treatments for pain relief and healing since my conditions have been present for many years. Certain muscle bands had been twisted & knotted for longer than I’d care to admit.None-the-less, I presented myself with my many Trigger Points in my Neck and Upper Back and all my many other symptoms of Osteoarthritis. After a couple of months of treatment, I am feeling such great relief!It’s rare to find a doctor & team that combines such compassion and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming her patient! In fact, I wish that I had found Dr. Ruminski much sooner.

Love this office! Was referred by the VA and the doctor is great! She is focused on fixing you, not medicating you. During my consultation visit, she explained how the entire acupuncture process worked, how many needles would be used, and even showed me some needles and explained the difference between those and the ones used to draw blood. She even explained some of the things you may experience during the process. The staff was so attentive, as well. I 100% would recommend this office for acupuncture and chiropractic treatment.

The Employees hear are professional and friendly. I have NO complaints about the level of their service.The moment my son & walked into the door, the receptionist greeted us with a warm welcome smile !! and by our name .the assistants were very attentive during our treaments and ensure that we was comfortable as possible.and the chair in the back is magical !!!! the actual chriropractor was very knowledgeable and understanding about my concerns.i would most definitely recommend this place to anyone needing realignment or therapy after an accident or similar experience! I have been a patient here since February 2020. I came to Valley Physical after years of steroid shots that didn’t work on my spine and nerve pain. At my initial consultation my doctor explained what was wrong, things that previous surgeons and pain specialists had never found. My doctor put together a plan that has me completely mobile and pain free! Everyone at this practice is patient and kind! I feel very cared for and like an individual person, not a chart number. When I had an emergency pain situation I was able to go in for treatment, saving me an expensive trip to the ER. I am very grateful for my doctor and the entire staff!

YOU NEED THEM. This practice has truly changed my life. The care provided by every person working here is exceptional. Dr. Ruminkski is the doctor that truly cares about your pain and WILL LISTEN! She is the first doctor I have ever had to take my pain and discomfort seriously. If you are in pain this is your place. They will treat you like family from the second you walk in the door. I don’t know what I would do without the care that they have provided me. Truly life changing.

Had a consultation and a numerous of x-rays done with Valley Physical Medicine! With the pandemic and social unrest I decided to not visit any doctors this year but took the chance! BUT how soon we become disappointed with people! On my 3rd visit, I was denied entry after the receptionist called me and asked me to come in 15 minutes earlier for my appointment. Arrived in parking lot at 2:32 p.m. Appointment was 2:45 so I sat in car listening to music and mentally preparing myself for whatever treatment they had in mind. 2:42 I got out my car and went to door which was locked. So like instructed by receptionist when he called, I knocked on door. You could hear movement but no answer so I knocked a little harder. No answer so I begin walking back to my car. After about 10 steps, the receptionist that called and asked me to come 15 minutes early walk outside of door. He states were opening soon, come back. In shock, I shook my head and got in my car then left. 6 minutes prior this same receptionist opened the door and let another lady in. My heart sank after coming to Valley Physical Medicine with 6 toes, 2 knees, an ankle, neck, back and hip pain for the receptionist to state such an absurd statement. Im almost 55 in excruciating pain and denied entry when its 2:43 pm and my appointment 2:45 pm. Yes I felt some type of way because I deserve proper respect which some people have a problem with respecting all at the same level. Now approximately 6 minutes pass and my phone rings with an explanation from receptionist. By this time Ive had too many negative thoughts to turn around and feel as this incident was just fine. No in any manner was it. First of all, common sense should tell you were treating people with physical disabilities(which is very painful ) so if theyre able to get to your front door, you should be able to assist in every way possible. Mentally overwhelmed with people of no empathy and lack of respect for us! At this point I would love my x-rays and like the female on the commercial, forgive and forget Valley Physical Medicine.

Valley Physical Medicine staff is awesome. During my evaluation visit I was almost in tears knowing I finally found someone who understood my pain. I referred at least five people after that visit. Absolutely life changing! It is nothing short of miraculous the drastic change the staff at VPM is effecting on the extreme pain I’ve been enduring the majority of my life. I’ve been searching and inquiring about options other than surgery or pain meds (which I inevitably became addicted to) at the multiple different pain clinics and orthopedic doctors. Not a single one of them ever mentioned the options that VPM have made available to me nor even been able to properly diagnose properly the issue that has been causing 80% of my pain. The entire staff is extremely friendly and deal honestly (a rarity in American medicine) with their patients. It’s evident that they genuinely care as apposed to simply being after your money. A God sent!

Valley Physical Medicine (VPM) Staff is second to none! I have to give my husband credit for finding VPM, one night he went on the World Wide Web, found VPM, and insisted that I make an appointment. He explained, after 4 years, I should be seeing/feeling some improvement, instead I was getting worse! Another concern, out of a staff of ten, there were only two staff members that treated me with kindness. What really made matters worse, the only thing that changed in my chart was the date, the medical notes were the same for the whole four years! I’m sure the question is what took me so long to change? I really don’t have a good answer, because normally, the three strikes rule was what I stood firm on, but I gave them 1,460 strikes, sad to say, they forgot to take care of the most important player on the team, me.When I called VPM on 14 September 2020, Bill answered the phone, I introduced myself and shared my reason for calling, he said “Mrs. Vinson we actually have a cancellation today if you would like to have that appointment.” I was so excited, of course I said “Yes!” When I got to the office I was greeted by Bill and Gwynne. Shortly thereafter, Chris came to greet me, then he took me to a private office to EXPLAIN the services that was provided at VPM. Wow!! I didn’t hear that during my 4 year visit at the other place. :/ I have to say, Bill, Gwynne, and Chris, were wonderful, when Dillon came and escorted me to the back, that’s when I found out, as Paul Harvey would have said it, “The rest of the story.” Dr. Dawn, Emily, Dillon, performed their angelic roles with precision. I could not believe the amazing service that I was receiving! I was so overwhelmed I actually broke down and started crying. I was amazed because Dr. Dawn and her staff saw me, they listened, and when I was done, Dr. Dawn knew exactly the treatment plan that would work for me.I am very, very pleased with the personal, progressive care that Dr. Ruminski, Dr. Cooke, Kelly, Chris, Bill, Gwynne, Emily, Dillon, and Jerica provide. And every time I go there I have the feeling that I’m going home. I believe the main reason VPM IS SO AMAZING is the entire staff are servants of the Most High God!!So, if you suffer with chronic pain, I highly recommend Valley Physical Medicine, no worries, I guarantee you, the beautiful staff will provide you with excellent specialized care!!

About a year ago I received a knee injury from falling off a ladder and I discovered I had osteoarthritis. At the time, I didnt know of Valley Physical Medicine so I went to a local competitor. I felt like I was treated like a number, and the physician who treated me wasnt really engaged in my personal journey with my injury, and when I began discussing other possible methods with Him, he bluntly said to me, do you want a cortisone shot or not?Now, theirs nothing wrong with cortisone, but as Ive researched, repeated cortisone shots are not really healthy for your local ligaments, bones & joints in the long run.Well the cortisone shot worked for about a year, before the pain set back in. Determined not to rely on cortisone injections, I heard about Valley Physical Medicine, so I went in for a free consultation. I met with the co-owner Chris Ruminski. What a world of difference this consultation was then that of my former orthopedic doctor. Chris sat me down and explained to me EVERYTHING from the ranks of His small family- run business, to how their professional staff could hone in on specialized pain relief methods tailored for my condition, such as using shots of hylauronic acid (which your body makes naturally) instead of cortisone, and a host of other stimulus and chiropractic therapies they use taylored for my unique pain.Right now, Im in-between insurances, but Chris also explained to me how unbelievably inexpensive it would be for the sessions He outlined for me This was a complete relief to know that I didnt have to be stressed by missing a paying bill payment in order to begin treatment.So if youre needing any type of joint pain relief, youre really missing out on a great all-around experience if you dont visit Valley Physical Medicine on Morganton road.

Loved this place until they told me my insurance would cover by back brace at 100% when they checked and it was not covered. When I called my insurance company about it, they told me who they spoke to and that they told them is what not covered. I feel like I was purposely deceived into getting something that I would not have and they were suppose to check on it and the next thing I know I get a collection notice.

Most efficient medical staff Ive met since moving to North Carolina. These people are fast, efficient, and caring. You feel like you are family here. Id recommend them without hesitation to my loved ones if they lived here instead of Indiana.

They offer a free consultation but dont let you know that anything after your talk with the Dr is billed to the insurance. I was surprised when I was asked for my co-pay at the end of the visit which I paid at the time. And then I receive an additional bill in the mail from them. I called and explain to them the situation and offfice manager got into a yelling very match is with me. Would not let me speak and when I asked her if I could speak she hung up on me very unprofessional would never go back because with the office staff is where you have to deal with most of the time. I also called my insurance to let them know of their little scheme to get patients in under free consult and then bill insurance.
