I had my first appointment on Friday 11/13/20....upon arrival I loved the atmosphere and how clean the office was. Everyone was nice and very welcoming. The only downside was how long you have to wait to receive your ultrasound photos. Out of pure excitement of having my second child after 13years I was anxious to see my little one. The appoint was brief and not very informative. Due to covid my husband was not able to come in for the appointment but I was allowed to FaceTime him. Not receiving ultrasounds at the end of the appointment was a major bomber for me. I requested the ultrasound photos and still have yet to receive them. I would love it if they can print them right there for you, I feel that along with being more informative would make the appointment much more engaging and enjoying.

Had my first visit today & it was a great experience. Doctor & staff was very nice. Ultrasound tech was very friendly & made me feel comfortable. Told tech i was disappointed i havent been able to get hard copy of ultrasound cause every office email pics to you. She kindly printed me a pic of my baby girl & emailed them to me. Looking forward to continuing my care with them til the little one arrive.

All staff were very nice and caring. I visited there quite often so I feel a bond with the doctor and ultrasound technicians there, which is very comforting. And of course they are all very professional. Doctor Ranson is very good at explaining things and also appearing to be a very positive person -she is always happy and upbeat when I saw her, and it makes me feel happy to go there every time.

When I went for the first visit I was asked about genetic testing. I had made a decision about not having it done, however the doctor came back and convinced me to get it done. He said “it would not cost me anything.” He told me multiple times it wouldn’t cost anything. Yesterday I got a bill for $240 for the testing. When I called, the lady said she didn’t know why he would tell me that and she was sorry. Had I known it would cost me $240 I wouldn’t have had it done. Very annoyed.

They have been great since i began being seen at their office.

I had a miscarriage last year (2016), and I got referred to Dr. Ransom by my OBGYN. I had a preconception appointment with Dr. Ransom and fell in love with her bedside manner. When I got pregnant in February 2017, I went back to Dr. Ransom, because of my previous miscarriage, gestational Age, and the need for a cerclage. Dr. Ransom s knowledge, patience, and loving demeanor gave me peace of mind, and reaaurance throughout my pregnancy. I want to thank her, Dr. Hall, Dr. Gomez and all the staff at Georgia Perinatal, keep up the great work!
