Went to have a simple filling done and it took a lady dentist 2 hrs.She kept messing it up and blaming it on my daughter.Told my daughter she was being a brat. The place is rude to children and very long waiting times.

I am really shocked to see such poor reviews from others. I have always been treated kindly, professionally, and my kids have always felt safe and enjoyed their visits here.I feel the staff have explained dental concerns with confidence and set my expectations on my children’s dental health and needs.I’ve been visiting this office for over 3 years and will continue to with consistent service.

Wish I could give no stars, Keep constantly waiting for over an hour in the waiting room after the initial cleaning.. if you can’t schedule right then please let people know that they might be waiting that long.. with a child.. obviously I’m not the only one with the problem, been going on for years. Will not be coming back!

Had a good service with my 3 year old teeth cleaning Chelsey did a great job.

I would give zero stars if possible!! From my experience they dont care about their patients or their teeth. They do the bare minimum and only what they feel like doing. As a parent, not a dentist, I was uneducated when it came to any dental work or options that are available. I would expect a doctor to have their patients best interest at heart. They do not! I wish I never took my children here. A place like this should be shut down!!

Wait time is Horrific, I couldnt deal , we had to find another dentist. I like them though and my kids did to, but it was just the wait time was hours omg.

Would not even have one star if I could submit this review without any. Unprofessional and does not care about patients. They more less just get paid to bring you in and see you, seemed thats all they were about, MONEY. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TAKING ANY KIND OF CHILD THERE or human period..

I will give this company no stars they are rude and unprofessional. The lady was talking to me like I’m her child I didn’t appreciate it at all. Second the big fat lady that sits at the back was rude to she didn’t care that I was the customer or try to do anything help the situation. She was very rude too. Smile starters need to realize that without the customer there’s no business. For them to treat me the way they did it was wrong. I will not return no more business from me.

Extremely rude and unprofessional. I called the front desk and explained to her that I was stuck behind a train, and that I would be a few minutes late as well. She says it would be fine, as long as I made it within 15 mins after my appointment. I made it there in time, from across town, just for her to tell me that my daughters couldnt be seen because the dentists on duty had left. Only one dentist was in the building. I havent been back since.

This place is very slow, everytime I come i have to wait over a hour before my child is seen..

Horrible place to take little one. You cant go back with your child, even when theyre screaming out of fear. This place made me believe my daughters teeth were going to form an abscess so she needed her teeth pulled asap, when there was another option they failed to inform me about steel cap. So now she has missing front teeth and Im having to take her elsewhere for her to get a partial root canal to correct their work of the fillings hitting her nerves. I do not recommend this place. I went to two different places and they both didnt have a clue why smile starters would pull teeth instead of putting a cap on them. This place should be called smile ruiner. Id give this place 0 stars if that were an option.

I do not like having to look through a window as my child goes to the back. Not only that but she cried and I watched the workers laugh while she cried in the chair. If your child is sensitive this is not the place to go. No this was not my daughters first time, so they made her experience horrible. She now has a different dentist.

Worst experience with a dentist office I have ever had Smile Starters On Walter Reed Rd. They consistently overbook appointments and you will wait in a full lobby regardless of appointment. I am fed up with the miscommunications and ridiculous wait times even after speaking to management and being reassured my daughter would be seen at her appointment for a tooth ache that has been put off since before Christmas. Her appointment today was scheduled for 9:30am we arrived at 9am was told at 10:30 they didn’t know when they could see her. I finally made an appointment with another dentist office and will NOT be back. If you want to be piled in a lobby on top of other families and wait atleast an hour to be seen the I would recommend Smile Starters. If you feel like you and your family deserve better please go else where. I recommend The Fayetteville Dentist I have met the staff, heard great reviews and that is where we will go from now on.

Save yourself the hassle and don’t take your children here. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

They are the worst with appointments. They will wait until you arrive just to tell you the dentist is not available to reschedule or you will be sitting there an hour after your scheduled appointment time. They are rude and unprofessional. I will be changing dental offices.
