Best Dentist in Fayetteville. I had an issue with a wisdom tooth. As a new patient they booked me the next day and in less than 5 minutes the tooth was out. Super friendly staff. Very clean. And not expensive. With my insurance I was out of pocket less than $100 where as other dentists wanted to charge me 400+. Highly recommended!!!!!

I believe they did outstanding work when I told them my concerns about my last fillings at my last dentist office how everytime I would eat the food would get into my gums and my teeth are so sensitive they were efficient and able to help the only concern I have I knew is that the doctor said I had an infection they said they were going to send over some antibiotics but they have not and it seems like when you have to call to get to someone you have to leave a voicemail rather than just being able to speak to someone but My overall excellent service ready for my next check up

One of my friends from high school recommended this office. All of the staff were very friendly and thorough. Ms. Betsy was amazing and keep me informed on what she was doing and showing me the progress of her work. Dr. Cowherd was very nice, explained what steps I needed to take next, and was very encouraging. I’m a very anxious person when it comes to doctor offices, but they made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. This dental establishment is nothing but the Truth. I have dental anxiety real bad reached out to the facility and they took care of that issue.While in the dental chair the Hygienist made me comfortable and when the Dentist came to see me He was a straight shooter no fancy dental talk which made me feel that he was a provider with character and not just a piece of paper of the wall. I’m definitely going back.

I’ve never experienced sensitivity or pain until dr. Cowherd did my first cavity filling. I complained about the pain the assistant told me it was normal and to just wait it out . 5 weeks later and I’m still feeling the same pains and it’s getting worse. Dr cowherd gave me a good first impression and the staff was very friendly but I questioned how quickly he got done with my fillings. I’ve had a lot of cavities filled before and never had any problems until him he seemed rushed. I will be going to my old dentist an hour away from now on. The nursing assistant told me he would look at my pain and sensitivity before we did another filling and we would go from there. He came in and directly gave me a novicane shot that caught me off gaurd because I was under the impression we were just taking a look at my pain and when I asked what was being done he said “are we doing the filling or not” which caught me off guard again. The nurse was nice. I wouldn’t recommend dr cowherd though. I left the dentist office with a numb jaw because I’m not about to pay a dentist that gets a attitude with me and doesn’t care about the pain he caused . I will update after my next dentist appointment with my original dentist I’m pretty sure he will have to redo dr cowherds work and this isn’t the only review of him doing bad fillings. I wish I would have seen before I trusted him drilling in my mouth .

Dr. Cowherd went above and beyond my expectations. He gave me two shots to numb my tooth and I didn’t even know it. He also saved a tooth my previous dentist said I would have to have pulled. It was just a great experience all around. They will have my business from now on.

The office staff was nice. The first Dentist I saw was great. The second visit was ok the staff was professional. This appointment was a little surprising because I thought I was getting some dental work done but they said I was there for a cleaning. I would recommend this Dental office just confirm what procedure you are scheduled for prior to your appointment..

I was just calling around trying to find a dentist expecting to have to wait around a month before I could get in. Luckily someone had canceled there appointment and I was able to get in the same day. I went only planning on getting x-rays and a cleaning done but when the doctor came in he said he would go ahead and fill a tooth that had broken a few days ago and he did it free of charge! The staff was so friendly and really made you feel comfortable I have never been able to say I love my dentist. I highly recommend anyone to go to this dentist!!!

I highly recommend Ramsey St Family Dental!! I had a very bad experience at a previous dental office which caused bad anxiety for all future dental visits. Dr Cowherd & his staff were very patient, caring & explained everything before they proceeded. He took the time to find the problem with my tooth & fixed it up quick! Went in at 3:00, cleaning & fillings were completed by 430! Very efficient & thorough! The following morning, Dr Cowherd called to check in with me, to make sure I had no pain & everything was ok...which it was!Their hours are also VERY convenient for us who work & can’t take off during the day. They will have my business from here on out!

I am really surprised at how nice the staff were. The Doctor wasnt mean and rude. He didnt keep you in there all day. Natalie was patient and concerned not rude or judging.

Although the staff and Dr are friendly, the reason for my rating is because I took my 5 yr old in to get a cavity fixed. Although the Dr handled my daughters outburst well after being shown the needle by his helping staff, unfortunately, he did not properly clean out the decay before placing the filling on top which led to the cavity getting bigger and now needing more work done elsewhere. The filling was done a little over a month ago, so still pretty recent. I just wish if he knew he was unable to do the job to the best of his ability, he would have referred us out to a facility that did sedation so it wouldnt have gotten as bad as it did.

No good cleaning paid $300 left unsatisfied.

My wife and I have been dental patients for several years now at this buiness. We have received excellent treatment and my wife has received excellent referrals to good oral surgeons when needed. As repeat patients you are always treated well.

I’m so happy to have stumbled across this place. I cried two months ago because the last dentist I was seeing couldn’t give me a cleaning without hurting me. My teeth are real sensitive and I needed so much work done but couldn’t even make it past the cleaning part. I was seriously at a lost on what to do and not to mention my anxiety concerning my teeth was through the roof. I found this place and long story short, I had xrays and a cleaning in under 30 minutes, with absolutely no pain. I can’t remember the assistants name but she was so nice. She knew I was scared and explained everything she was doing while working on me. The dentist was extremely warm and welcoming as well. I’m so grateful to have found this place. I’m actually looking forward to my next visit.

This is the best dentist I have ever had in my 50 years of life. You can tell he really cares by the way he interacts with you. Prices are the cheapest Ive ever paid. They even have an affordable plan for people who dont have insurance. Free cleanings and exams! I will definitely continue to get my dental treatments done here.

I absolutely LOVE the staff here! I don’t get nervous or scared at any of my appointments. There’s no judgement, no criticism, no jerk around. Dr. Cowherd is so kind! My mother is a difficult patient to deal with, and there’s a bit of a language barrier. She is so scared of the dentist because where she’s from, they weren’t common in certain areas. The doc calmed her down, treated her gently, and took his time on her. Even made her laugh. THAT alone is hard to do. The front desk ladies are all so welcoming and sweet. The hygienists are all so informative and a delight to converse with. Ms. Mary, his assistant, was so incredibly sweet! She also made my husband, my mother, and I so comfortable and relaxed! It’s affordable, and the hours of operations are awesome when you are trying to book 3 appointments, all who have different schedules.

I am a new patient at Dr. Cowherds office and had the pleasure of meeting their outstanding staff. I got my teeth cleaned by Betsy, she was the most informative hygienist Ive ever had. She explained everything she would do as well as explaining the meaning of plaque and tartar. Dr. Cowherd was also very reassuring and kind. I would definitely be returning for my next check up. I highly recommend this dental office.

If I could give him no stars I would. He deleted my post but this man pulled my wisdom tooth and broke my jaw all the way through and had to have a facial specialist do surgery on my jaw. When he found out my jaw was broken he sent me a letter saying I’m no longer a patient and put lies in my chart to try and get away with what he did but he has no clue I got a better lawyer and this will not be pushed under the rug. He caused so much pain, I can’t believe he could do this to someone and just continue to do his practice. Please don’t let this happen to you.

I think its very very important to trust your dentist. I fully trust Dr. Cowherd. I had extensive work done by Dr. Cowherd and his staff, Besty and Delano. They are all very professional and down to earth people. Everyone was super compassionate and catered to my needs. I highly recommend this place.

I had my first appointment on Saturday and it was awesome! They were very professional and my experience was great.

After telling the dentist three times that I was not interested in altering the cosmetic appearance of my teeth, he stopped in the middle of his cleaning to tell me that all he noticed when he first met me was how terrible my smile was...so that I might want to reconsider. Very unprofessional! The hygienist had toothpaste and water all over the place when she was brushing my teeth. I have never had so much water used on my teeth without suction that it was literally running down my neck and back. Very disappointed.

Dr. Sam is excellent! He had big shoes to fill at the dental office but he has done a great job of doing it. He is super gentle and has made every visit i have had there as pleasant as possible. I had to call him in after hours for an emergency and he did so without hesitation. He also has come in early to accommodate my work schedule so I wouldnt be late seeing my own patients. I went to a dentist Thursday April 25th to be told I needed three teeth pulled right away and that there was probably no chance in saving most of my teeth and I couldn’t afford their prices. Right away I wanted a second opinion. I called Ramsey street and they got me in right away. Was able to save one of the teeth that I was told needed to be pulled and told me there was hope that most my teeth are strong. Also I’m scared of dentists but he talked to me to help ease my nerves. All the the staff is friendly and I will be making this my normal dentist from now on.

Nice facilities and was the best experience Ive had as far as dentist go. The staff was courteous and helpful. I usually get a little nervous with dental work but Dr. Cowherd helped me with this with a breathing treatment, and I was pain free throughout the procedure. Ill definatley be going back.

I had not been to this office since 2013, and just moved back to town. I was experiencing horrible pain and called around 10:30 or 11 and was told to come in at 2 and was seen immediately! Awesome staff and service. They were all so kind, very gentle, and quick to find out what was wrong. Will surely be returning for checkups and any other emergencies that come up!

I had a severe trauma as a child to my jaw, and had to have multiple surgeries into adulthood. Dr. Cowherd and his staff made me the most comfortable I have ever been at a dentists office. I would have stayed with them if I had not needed to move. My gums were infected. The doctor put in a prescription for antibiotics, but when he came in the room he changed his mind. My mouth hurt all day even when Im not eating. Its not the first in my life that Ive had one, so I know what an infection feels like. He wanted to fill in my teeth before they even cleaned them. (Fill in bacteria, plaque and all)!!! They did x rays and measure my teeth which hurt every time the lady press my gums. Looking at all the good reviews Im wondering why this place let me walk out with an infection. Im wondering if its because Im AA. Or they were just lazy. I took some old antibiotics from a friend. In 3 days the pain left. I guess cleaning up the infection. Since Im new to the area I will need I find a better more caring place to help keep it from infecting again. I dont recommend this place. Its not for everybody.

Its been a while since Ive been to the dentist. I recently just got dental insurance again and found Dr. Cowherd through an ad in the mail. I looked him up and he was highly rated so I scheduled an exam and cleaning with the hygienist Betsy. The office has been recently renovated and is absolutely beautiful and the staff are very professional and nice! Betsy was very sweet throughout my X-rays, exam and cleaning. Dr. Cowherd was also very professional as well. Luckily I dont have any cavities to be filled but I will definitely be back in 6 months for my next cleaning and for any other dental work. My last reason for choosing Dr. Cowherd is because he does laughing gas for his patients and since my anxiety over needles is very bad the laughing gas helps to calm me down. I also like the fact that his practice is private and not some chain dentist office where they try and bill my insurance for anything they can get or unnecessary dental work.

Went to the previous dentist that used to be at this location for years. Dr. Griffin. In my opinion going from an experienced dentist to this one was not ideal. They will quote you a price and then add on extra as necessary. I paid $250 for a cleaning and X-rays, from which Dr. Coward didnt even check my teeth at the end of the cleaning. I guess sitting in the front talking to the receptionists was more convient for the money I spent. 0/7 would not recommend. Lol. Seriously though I am searching for good dentists now.
