My husband had an appt for 2/15. There is bad weather, lots of snow. He called first thing this morning to see if he could get in early, they said no. He called before he left the house to make sure they were still open. He was told yes. He drove over there in the snow. Gets there and the door is locked. He calls again and is told they are there and on lunch. Waits in the parking lot then calls AGAIN and is now told they left early and are closed. Not only did they speak to him multiple times saying they are open, but they closed and left early without calling to let him know or reschedule. Very poor customer service. I would give 0/5 stars if that was an option.

When I arrive I was greeted courteously by the front desk ask for my insurance card and copay about 5 minutes I was called back to the exam room or the nurse took information and told me that the doctor will be right in with her about three minutes later the doctor showed up and the nurse showed back up and he did my exam treated some pre-cancerous spots and told me to come back in six months everything look good. Everything was wonderful the visit was exceptional can I can go back with confidence anytime I need to

The entire staff is incredible. From the receptionist to the doctor, they are kind and understanding and took their time with all the questions my husband and I had without rushing throughout the appointment. I highly recommend!

I was very happy with my visit yesterday. Dr McNail looked at everything thoroughly and addressed all my concerns. I was, however, unhappy with the way I got my appointment scheduled. I have to visit every 3 months due to having a spot of melanoma last year and having several abnormal spots. I had to cancel my appointment in March due to going out of the country and the pandemic. I was only able to reschedule on July 2nd due to the office being closed. I had to get tested for COVID-19 on July 1st because I had a sinus infection, so I had to miss the appointment. I was only able to reschedule for end of July in the St. Louis location or mid-August in Farmington. I chose the St. Louis location but was told Id be placed on the cancellation list. On July 15th my coworker called to make an appointment as a new patient and was able to get in that day and said there was an appointment right after hers available. I called and the receptionist made it very difficult to get the appointment. It was like a game of 20 questions; he told me my coworker couldve been getting something else done but that they werent taking new patients. I completely understand if that time was reserved for new patients or higher risk cases but Im considered high risk and was way past due for my regular appointment. The receptionist didnt show any concern for that.I almost considered switching doctors just because of this. If he wouldve refused to give me the appointment, I wouldve switched. Overall though, I think that Dr McNail and another female doctor Ive seen are great at what they do!

I always feel I am listened to and all of my concerns and needs are met. Thats not the case at many doctors offices! Plus, the staff is friendly, efficient and courteous.

I’ve been seeing Dr Griffin for years and I sure hate to see him retire. Everyone is so nice at his office from the receptionist to his nurses in the office. Reminded us not be late for our appointment. Checked my child out of school to be there promptly at 3:05. She sat in the waiting room for one hour and 45 minutes. The doctor was great, the treatment was great. But no one should have to wait that long to be seen.

My husband has been treated here for many years. He has been seen by more than one Dr and a nurse practitioner. All of them are absolutely fantastic. My husband is very nervous when having skin cancers removed. They tolerate him with a professional attitude.

Dr. McNail expressed an unspoken (but readily apparent) concern for my medical issue. It was not the hurry up, say whatever it takes, and move on to next patient.

Appointment was prompt. Treatment was explained with easy to understand comments. Dr was very pleasant and made suggestions about future treatments.

I was able to get the appointment quickly and the entire visit was smooth. I have already setup follow-up appointments. Highly recommend.

Dr. McNail is the 3rd dermatologist I have seen regarding my skin condition. She is the FIRST dermatologist that actually showed concern for my painful situation. She put me on some strong medication (temporarily), and even took a small piece of skin to send off for testing. I highly recommend her if you want to see a GOOD doctor.

Friendly & answered questions and didnt rush you out

I am SO angry 😡. Went to the dermatologist today to have some spots taken off my face. These spots have been here for nearly 2 years. Have NOT changed or moved or healed or anything. They have the nerve to tell me its acne. Hello. Acne doesnt stay for nearly 2 years in the exact same spot and shape. EXACT same shape. Acne heals and pops and evolves and new spots emerge. She argued and argued with me and said Sorry your skin will just have bumps. The spots I have are constantly peeling so unfortunately I pick at them. She offered me an antibiotic for inflammation. Antibiotics are for bacteria. They do not heal inflammation. Worst experience ever when a doctor wont actually listen to you. It was almost like she just didnt want to help. Not to mention, when I schedule my appointment a month ago I specifically said I wanted to have some cherry angiomas removed from my forehead that were bleeding. They said sure. I get to the appointment and am told that I have to see a cosmetic dermatologist for that. It would have been nice to know that before I paid for the office visit!! I definitely do not recommend Forefront Dermatology in Farmington. I booked here due to the good reviews so I am making sure to add an honest review for those looking for care based on others actual experiences. If I could give a zero star I would. Scheduled an appointment with another doctor at a different office right there in their parking lot.
