I’ve been a patient here for years, I started out by seeing BirthCare HeathCare midwife group in 2017 and still see them. My kids see the pediatrician team and have had a great experience. Lastly my husband moved his primary care here as well. The urgent care hasn’t ever been too busy when we go. Booking an appointment with any of our medical professionals can be as fast as next day up to a month for non urgent needs. The pharmacy is typically well stocked and the staff is helpful. Highly recommend.

Everyone was incredibly helpful and understanding of our needs. We needed a blood test done and everyone listened to our needs and legitimately cared, especially the MA, Stephanie. She helped to alleviate my girlfriends concerns and anxiety regarding the blood draw, and was a perfect mixture of personal and professional.

Never go here. Go ANYWHERE else. They are not transparent about their prices and will NOT send your claim to insurance. I spoke to my insurance and found out that University of Utah Health in Farmington never sent my claim.. They literally just made a up number that my insurance would cover. They also sent me multiple bills instead of one.On my second visit, the doctor left me in the room while I heard everyone outside talking. Pretty sure they forgot about me. I ended up walking out instead of waiting to make a follow up appt.Good thing I never made another appt because for fracturing my elbow, I will have to pay $1,270. The new outpatient fee is $350 among all of the other outrageous fees they tack on.Service was decent but definitely not worth the price. No one could actually tell me what the price of something was before insurance. What a scam.

I saw Rachel Decker-Male for my horrible carpal tunnel. Her assistant was beyond lovely and made sure I felt comfortable. You can tell she loves her job and was super sweet. Rachel was amazing and I appreciated the fact that she didnt jump to a surgical solution but rather a less invasive approach with cortisone injections and splinting. I was able to have my splints made right there and take them home. The Occupational therapist who made my splints was one of the most delightful human beings on the planet and I absolutely enjoyed talking to her! After a painful injection she brought sunshine to my day. I would recommend this place to everyone!!!

Clean, efficient and surprisingly got in and out in under an hour with prescriptions. Everyone was so nice. Thank you for working through the pandemic medical and emergency responders! 👍

Horrible service! Please tell me the 90 minutes of wait time to talk to someone who has an attitude is not always happening. I have had to wait 30-90 minutes every time I call to talk to somebody in orthopedics.Please tell me why you don’t tell me I need to make a follow up appointment and treat me horrible when I call for results? You post half of my results on my chart with no follow up. The other half I’m not allowed to have unless I make an appointment you don’t tell me I need? If I could give no stars I would.

Top notch, great, happy, smiling, cheerful, friendly, very helpful staff. I love this place. I find myself wanting to make up health problems just so I can go there to be around good people. Hope e everybody enjoys this place as my h as I do.

I had the pleasure of visiting with Dr. Monson, Tyson, Bobby, and their orthopedic team today and can honestly say it was the most fun I’ve ever had at a doctor’s visit! They are incredibly knowledgeable, made me laugh, clearly have an excellent working relationship together, and were so thorough! They listened, engaged me in the conversations, and seemed genuinely excited when telling me they had a good idea of what’s going on! I left feeling happy and hopeful about symptoms that have been bothering me for years! Thanks to the whole team for a truly excellent experience!

First off grateful for the amazing staff at the child care facility~ and boy will you need them with these wait times.My husband and I waited for 2 hours to meet with our obgyn (Leslie Ostler) the 1st visit. Yesterday we arrived at 7:30 for our 8 AM appt to assure we did not cause any delays on our end. By 9:15 and still waiting to be seen we decided we needed to leave. It was beyond heartbreaking as we were genuinely SO excited to meet with the doctor.I used to hold the University of Utah Hospital on such a pedastool and not after experiencing their service I am beyond disappointed.

Everyone is really nice here and took great care of my husband.

I tested positive for COVID-19 at this facility — so that’s an automatic one star. But, it earns an extra star because I really liked the waiting room couches.

Doctor got snappy with me when I asked him a question. Felt like I didn’t want to be there anymore. It’s my health I can ask questions.

The urgent care is big and way under utilized from my experience. Sometimes this place suffers from over specialization. Many new services added though. Hit or miss for your experience and wallet impact.

I have had surgery there two times this year. The nurses are awesome! They take good care of you and are taking all precautions necessary to keep you safe. I love their on line my chart...where you can find your health information. I wish all the local hospitals would do this. Thanks guys!

I love the U of U. Dr VanStaden is our family doctor and he is amazing. I took my 4 month old in today for shots and its always a joy to see Dr. VanStaden! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a Dr especially for the kids! :)

Every visit the nurses were amazing always so polite and caring! They scheduled appointments that fit into my personal schedule. My sons doctor, Dr.Goodwin was great he was always patient and very informative also very kind and polite. Thank you all for your amazing work!

I got my feet looked at and got medicine for the infection.

Friendly, listened, comforting. Got me in quickly. I had a nurse named Mark that made me feel safe, and Dr. White was beyond awesome.

Mike in the Farmington pharmacy went out of his way to help with a cost situation. Very friendly and caring. I appreciate him.

The poeple have stupid doctors

This is a pretty decent clinic. The family practice department can be hard to get into, but Im always happy to wait a little longer for better care. Im also happy that there are different departments, like vision and audiology and other areas so that I dont have to drive all the way down to SLC to get seen for chronic conditions.

My experience getting a Covid test here was BAD. The doctor was rude. The biggest problem I have is that they did not offer me a work excuse note. I called when I got home, because I had forgotten to ask, and they transferred me four different times. They acted as though they had never heard of a work excuse note before and refused to give me one. SERIOUSLY??? Im 23 and just got a new job, the first one of my career. I have been working for less than 3 months and this is my second time out of the office due to Covid. This time, I actually am sick. This facility cant even give me a piece of paper (or send an electronic copy) saying that I was getting a Covid test on Monday. This is absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. I ended up requesting a work excuse note from the health department. Also, the way that the MyChart app is set up, due to security reasons you are unable to screenshot anything, including the test results. I will ABSOLUTELY NEVER go back to the University of Utah Health in Farmington. This was such a terrible experience, and so exhausting to deal with while being sick. I cannot believe that they would treat people this way, whether they are sick or not. Everyone getting a Covid test should be offered a work excuse note, and I am unaware of any other medical facility that is unfamiliar with that concept.*** I wanted to note that my employer did not require a note, I just wanted one because I felt that it was the professional thing to do

I love urgent care but the guy that sets up front for check in is not nice!

My wifes health is declining daily, and we had her tested for COVID at another clinic, but their results are over two weeks in processing. We were recommended to come here and after talking to multiple physicians, we kept getting passed along the phone to order another Covid test from here because they typically have a 36-48 hour turnaround according to them.After being assured it would be no problem they finally come back and said that even though she has symptoms, they cant do anything since there is another test at another clinic. This is not any law, just policy and their preference. That is unacceptable! Her health is declining daily, and they are refusing to test her. Currently we cannot be seen by her primary care physician, we cant go to work, etc until we get this test back! They have the ability, my wife has the symptoms and has been tested, but U of U is refusing because they are being petty that another provider has taken the test.Drop the ego, care for the people! Completely and utterly disgusting human ethics.

Wow 5 star service I am so happy with the service at this clinic! I always go to redwood and they are good but this just made my day the lady up front and the nurse Bridget was so nice to my curious 8 year old and Dr. Phil was funny and nice! Loved it! What a difference from sugar house.... the facility really clean and well maintained.

If you want doctors that gaslight you about your health issues, this is the place.

I love love love this place. I have had nothing but positive experiences from all the staff, doctors and specialist here. I love the nice new clean facility. My appointments have always been on time and never felt rushed!

I dont even know where to begin, so Ill just say how happy I am that I went to this urgent care. I had seen four doctors and none of them gave me more than 15 minutes in their office and just threw random prescriptions at me blindly. I was in excruciating pain and was desperate for help. Upon arriving, the check in desk had a very respectful gentleman, I wish I got his name to include. He was amazing and got us checked in and ready to go. As soon as I sat down they were calling me back to be seen. I had Philip Taylor.....and if every doctor took his approach to caring for patients, no one would ever complain about doctors. Philip was fantastic and a life saver! He took all the time necessary to listen to me, figure out necessary tests and x-rays, and was very detailed in everything he told me. Within 2 days they had my tests done and set me up to see a Gastro, which I couldnt find one to see me for almost 2 more months! Im already feeling better after the correct medications and Philip called me with each test result and showed true concern for my well being. I can not thank this office enough for such fantastic service, and Philip Taylor, you are awesome and you made a positive impact on my life and health!

Pray you talk to Paula! She is the most amazing and informative front desk lady! Went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable speaking to her and did her job perfectly. I can’t wait until I’m in a position to swipe other places employees. Paula would be swiped immediately with a giant sign on bonus and $40 an hour. I spent 15 minutes on the phone with her and am convinced that’s what she is worth. I hope a head honcho over there at the U reads this. She deserves a raise and a $10,000 check for being great at what she does

Great staff.

My first experience here was in July 2019 seeing a midwife (and student) and they were so courteous! They answered all of my questions with patience and understanding. My second visit was August 1, 2019 and the technician was so warm and friendly! The doctor that did the ultrasound was professional and friendly. She put me at ease and made me feel like she really cared about me as a person. I didnt feel like just a number or just a paycheck or just another sheep being herded through. Definitely the best doctor experience Ive had in many years!

The staff is usually very friendly which is great. However, they tend to make things WAY more complicated than they need to be. I’m order to get a very simple question answered I have had to be transferred to up to 5 different people, and my question usually isn’t given a straight up answer. I’ve called a couple times to make an appointment for a non emergency and they have told me to go to the ER. Sorry, I’m not going to pay an ER bill for a simple UTI test.

Beautiful new facility with huge open lobby, deli. Feels kind of like a mall. Obviously your experience may differ depending on your condition and your doctor and relevant staff, but I received expert, compassionate care.

Very happy with this facility- first thing that surprised me was when I called for an appointment I got in the next day and in the time frame I needed. Cool!! From there and it was quality customer service and a modern experience. Dr. Morrill is so great. I have been going to another provider over the past two years and when I went here, the facility is really nice and the people treat patients with professionalism.

BEST ENT IN UTAH!! I was lucky enough to find Dr. Aaron Prussin who helped me find out what was my issue and made me feel more than comfortable about surgery. I recommend him to anyone and everyone!!!

Worst doctors appointment we’ve ever had. The two nurses were super nice and helpful but the midwife was zero help. We went for our first pregnancy appointment and we have learned no new information other than we know we are pregnant. Originally we we’re told they weren’t even going to do an ultrasound. They finally did but couldn’t tell us how far along we are or even how things were looking. No bedside manner. We’re in the office for 3 full hours. Just got a new doctor scheduled at a true OBGYN and won’t go back.

Beware of inflated charges and.... find out what the facility and doctors fees are BEFORE you even make your appointment. I took my 14 year old son to the dermatology department to have his facial skin looked at (puberty) as well as to have a wart frozen off. This was in July with a doctor recommended follow-up visit in October. I blindly set up the appointment without knowing what the facility nor the doctor charges (which I will take ownership of). That said, to my dismay, in October, I received two bills. One was for the facility itself billing me for the equipment used freeze off my sons wart (single wart...not multiple mind you). This bill was $247. The second bill between the two visits was for the doctors visit and for him to freeze off his single wart. This bill was well over $600. In total, we spent over $850 on two single visits. Let me say this again....$850 for two visits for a 14 year old boy. The visits lasted maybe 10 minutes (we waited longer to see the doctor than the actual appointment). Never in my life have I been billed such an astronomical amount for something so minor. This is highway robbery!!! The UofU Clinic and Dr. Seacrest should be ashamed of themselves. Lesson learned the hard way....never EVER again will we return to this clinic nor this doctor. The takeaway....know the charges up front so you arent behind the 8 ball afterwards.

It took me two months to get in to see a PA (I tried for a doctor but this was the soonest appointment). Once I finally got there she brushed off severe abdominal pain that lasts for hours, has sent me to the ER, and has even made me throw up as heartburn. Ive been pregnant four times--I know heartburn, and this isnt it. The appointment was a complete waste of time and money. I did request an ultrasound to rule out the possiblity of gallbladder issues as some of my symptoms seemed to align with that. I waited just over a week for my ultrasound appointment only to find out the day before (by calling in to double check) that it had never actually been scheduled, despite the verbal confirmation I received when I spoke with the ultrasound department. This was my first experience with U of U Health and I think it will be my last.

Every practitioner I have seen at this clinic has been wonderful to me and my children. And I really love the onsite daycare. It has been a lifesaver during some of my appointments!

The medical staff was very good, however, the billing office staff are the worst. They bill codes that are not supported by the medical records, which caused my insurance to delay paying bills. This happened on 2 different occasions. Then after an urgent Care visit, or bill was referred to the Attorney Generals office, without us receiving any bills asking us to pay what our insurance didnt pay. when we called in to pay there bill, the business office person was extremely rude. As much as we like this clinic and the medical staff, we will not go back due to the business office practices and their rude employees.

Great clinic! All kinds of doctors, Starbucks and an eye care center all in one. They even have a grand player piano thats always going like at the U of U hospital. Its an open building, not too big or easy to get lost in. I love it and its a lot closer to my place than the hospital.

Took my mother here for a neurological diagnosis. Staff and Dr. were wonderful to work with and really helpful to make her feel comfortable in a trying time. This was our first experience here, Im hoping the rest will be the same way as our first impression.

(UPDATE:I FINALLY got a call back from Chris who handles the collections cases yesterday after trying to get in touch with him for 3 weeks! Unfortunately, I already paid collections in full because you cant get a direct line to him and he took forever to get back to me and I didnt want it to effect my credit. Lesson learned, I will never be back! Incompetence at every turn!)I visited the clinic 2 years ago for a broken ankle. When I was admitted I gave them my insurance information and filled out the paperwork with all of my current information.Apparently the person working in admitting did not enter my information. Instead they used information that was over 11 years old. So I never received any bills, calls, letters, etc. Last week I was contacted by a collection agency about an unpaid bill which was totally unexpected. When I called to clear it up, Karen from billing was absolutely no help. Even after acknowledging they made an error. Instead of pulling the account from collections and allowing me to pay the bill, she told me I would have to work it out with the collection agency which would require me to pay the collection agencies fees and interest on a balance I never knew was due because of their mistake. Im pretty sure Karen from billing just couldnt be bothered to help me because after being on the phone with them for almost an hour and being passed back and forth, it was after 5:00 PM and she wanted to go home. Too bad this is the lasting impression I have of this facility because it is very nice and the day of my visit I was treated great. Little did I know I would be held responsible financially and have my time wasted because someone on their end didnt do their job. Horrible! If someone from University of Utah Healthcare would like to get in touch with me and actually offer some help, I would be happy to pay the bill in full!

Overpriced and unfair. We were charged over $600 to have a little googly eye removed from our two-year olds nose. It took less than ten minutes. I understand there are standard fees charged for certain procedures, but this was atrocious. They dont care. No deals. No help. No concessions. Just pay the bill. They cant disclose any costs before the appointment, so they can overcharge you later. WeeCare up in Layton would have charged only around $100, but we made the mistake of using the Urgent Care facility here. This is a sham and a disgrace to providing fair and quality healthcare to this community.

Came in the Urgent Care with my 4 year old for stitches. The receptionist, Joseph, was kind and helpful and the doctor was meticulous and sweet to my little girl. I was very impressed and appreciated having somewhere to go besides the ER.

Nice place, but dont have your doctor fax them anything to the fax numbers they give you. They have lost three orders sent by my doctor in the last six months. My Dr has verified and reverified the fax number with them, and they still cant get it together.

Best experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care, throughout the whole visit they made sure that i was well taken care of and when they had a delay the receptionist made sure everyone was comfortable! Very friendly staff and super helpful, definitely will be coming here for all my healthcare needs!

Amazing staff here! From the outstanding Dr.s to the Custodians!

I wanted to take my family of 7 to receive their annual flu shots; however they told me they could only do 3 shots a day and that we would have to schedule 3 separate days to get them all done. This is outrageous! I am an RN myself and have given literally thousands of these exact injections. It takes literally less than 3 minutes to give 7 pre-filled shots. Mind you, youre not even seeing a doctor at these appointments, strictly a nurse so there is absolutely no other assessment or care being given. To expect your patients come back on 3 different days to get them is ludicrous. This is very poor patient care in my book.

I like all of the doctors that I have seen. I like going here rather than to the university just because its easier. Im. Glad its here.

My wife was sick and thought she needed to go to urgent care. We called this place since it was open on the weekends. I had checked my insurance which did NOT have a copay for urgent care visits - I would pay up to my deductible.I call them and tell them that and ask what the fee is to see someone at urgent care - I am told that it would be my copay. I tell them my insurance doesnt work that way and am told that, in that case, they wouldnt be able to provide me a fee because they dont know what labwork, prescriptions, etc. would be required. I tell them I understand that additional services would cost more - I just want to know what the initial consultation fee would be.Im put on hold while they check with others in the office. She returns and states it would the copay. I tell her I dont have a copay (again) so I would be paying it directly. She responds that no one in the office could provide a fee.Yet another example of the trainwreck that is American healthcare. Last time this happened I received a bill for $300 for a 10 minute urgent care exam (plus a few prescriptions) so I wont allow that to happen again.

Worst back end billing experience in my life. My insurance comp did not cover. They sent statement to the wrong address, called the wrong number. Now i am in their legal department being harassed and threatened by their legal team . If i owe $ no worries, but when its done like this...l being bulldozed by their legal team, its not ethical. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS CLINIC The will not tell you upfront if your insurance comp will cover...and come around behind you and sick their legal team after you and threaten you. Run the other way!

Going there went great, however when I called to pay my bill I couldnt get through because the phone numbers they give you dont let you talk to anyone, they are nothing but ads after ads after ads. Soooo frustrating!!

Went in for suspected pneumonia after having Influenza A for two weeks prior. Was told by the doctor that it was in the early stages and to just follow-up with my PCP on Monday. No medications, no help whatsoever. Because I felt so awful, I left there and went immediately to another clinic where I was told my lungs sounded awful, that I most certainly had pneumonia, and that waiting until Monday would have been a horrible thing to do, and was given several medications.Visiting this clinic was a complete waste of time, and money. I will NEVER be returning. Steer clear!

This was our first time to this clinic and for the most part the experience was good. Dr Walker performed the colonoscopy and was great as was the nurses. Now for the negative. We were on time for our appointment at 815 and at just the same time the 730 appt showed up 45 minutes late so we in turn we had to wait for him to be done. They should have made him wait since he was the one 45 minutes late. The receptionist that checked us was very slow to check in patient before us and was chewing gum, which I thought was very unprofessional. Overall the experience was very good.

Big and beautiful but kind of slow

The clinic is beautiful and clean. Dr. Harker (OBGYN) was great during my first appointment but I have been super sick during my entire first trimester. I asked for some kind of medication to help with it. Instead she wanted me to try natural remedies, vitamins, and pressure points on my hand to help ease the nausea. I eventually had to take a leave from work because I am on the phones all day with customers. When I asked for a note to excuse me from work, mind you my boss was totally ok with me taking a leave. She denied it because she and her nurse Rachel felt like I could suck it up and continue to work. This is my 4th pregnancy and the first time I have ever needed time off of work due to how sick I was during a pregnancy. Her nurse Rachel went on to explain that they couldn’t approve my leave because they don’t know how long my ‘morning sickness’ will continue. I’ve been throwing up all day, after every meal for the past three months. I think it’s safe to say that they assumed that I will get over it soon and that I can continue to work. Not compassionate towards their patients. They found it comical that’s i would even need a leave from work. Super frustrating to work with.

Went in today to get some lab work done and the lady behind the desk was very rude and wouldn’t help and told me with a bad attitude USE THE KIOSK TO CHECK IN I think I’ll stick to the main hospital for now on

I was kept waiting for over an hour to even *begin* my appointment for a simple procedure. The staff was nice enough, but this kind of wait and ineptitude is untenable.

Everyone works hard to keep us all healthy. The doctors listen and work with us to find the best care.

Just working here during construction, but from what Ive seen this is going to an amazing medical center. It looks like it will have nearly everything one would need for same day care.

An absolute nightmare of an experience. They put me in a situation that made me worse off than I already was. I am so embarrassed and felt dehumanized coming here.

They are bad about returning calls if you have questions about test results. Someone should always be checking calls and emails and returning them weather it be a nurse, assistant or Dr who does it.

This place has the best service in the area. It was a rough start but they are hands above my expectations.

I try to get all my doctor appointments here cannot rave enough about the child day care !

Friendly helpful staff, new clean facility

After going to one other urgent care and calling others who were unwilling to or unable to remove a fish hook in my thumb they removed it. I was not there very long and was treated professional and with compassion.

Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Facility seems very oversized and overly complicated for family/general practice visits. Overall, facility feels more like a hospital than a clinic. Care is equivalent to other U of U facilities, and wait is long, but similar to my other U of U family practice visits.
