After reading other reviews I understand that Dr. Burkes demeanor (bedside manner) may not be for everyone. But we hit it off and instantly established a camaraderie. He analyzed, he came and went, the nurse came and went. He told me that I should have come in the day before and explained why, and Im the wiser for it. They were totally coordinated and it was evident from the conversation in the outer office that they are a team. Im sure he was treating other patients at the same time but thats okay---thats the way emergency medicine works I left in less than an hour with a properly diagnosed, treated and bandaged injury with verbal instructions about what to do next.My daughter said, Where are the written followup instructions?Thats only a very minor complaint.Sumner Besse
