As a healthcare provider who is learning more and more everyday about the importance of empathy, compassion, and communication I am disappointed with how much this practice is lacking in all of that. I, myself, was not a patient at this practice but I was bringing a close friend of mine who does not fluently speak English to her appointments and every appointment was an absolute nightmare. I will say that one of the medical assistants does speak French and she did an excellent job of helping us. This review does not apply to her and I hope that she is compensated well for the hard work she does there. Other than her, the rest of the staff do not wish to accommodate to anyone who needs an interpreter and they kept assuming that I was her daughter even though I made it clear that I could not speak her native language and we look nothing alike/are completely different ethnicities. As a woman of color, I do not feel comfortable coming into this office and would not recommend this office to anyone. I think this practice should go through diversity trainings and push to educate themselves on not saying racially insensitive things which includes treating all their patients with respect regardless of their backgrounds. I have come out of appointments with my friend feeling frustrated and disrespected every time including in person appointments and scheduling on the phone. They were unhelpful with physical therapy referrals as well. When I called to ask where they recommend, I was told to just figure it out on my own. I have never had a healthcare provider tell me to just find my own specialist after asking for recommendations. Every healthcare provider should have a network of people that they know and are happy to refer patients to. I found this to be very unprofessional and further proved to me how much this clinic is not trying to help their patients with anything beyond their scope of practice. I could not be more happy that she has resolved her health issue and no longer has to come to this clinic. I could also very well see the staff at this practice disregarding my review and not owning up to any of their actions. However, I still feel that this should all be said because I am very hurt by the way my friend was treated.

Other than difficulty getting through phone line, everyone was courteous and professional.

Great staff that is concerned with the patient and his or hers needs. I had a double knee replacement with only two weeks in between each operation. All went very smoothly because they are professionals and every thing you need to know and do is spelled out. I have no reservationsabout this outstanding team!!!

Each Dr has a well selected team that works hard for each patient. Dr Shubert, herself an understanding and thoughtful professional, has an excellent and most impressive surgical assistant in Nicole, who showed she was on top of her game, well informed and communicated in a most impressive way during my day surgery. In addition, Dr Shuberts office assistant and scheduler, Laurie, went out of her way to ensure my unexpected surgery could take place at a days notice. She was caring and polite and ensured I wouldnt have to suffer another day, despite all the headaches it caused her!A most impressive and professional team - I would recommend them highly to anybody.

After many years and many knee surgeries from Augusta to Boston and being told that I am in need of a knee replacement but cant have one due to being too young I was recommended to see Dr. Rodrique. He listened intently to everything I had to say and upon viewing my medical history and xrays he told me I am a prime candidate for knee replacement even at age 37. His response was yes you are young but its the quality of life that counts... Since then Ive had both knees replaced (by age 39) and he and his staff have been AMAZING!!! Its because of him that I am now able to enjoy many of the things I hadnt been able to for a long time... Thanks Dr. Rodrique and his PAs Scott & Sarah... you guys are awesome

Have issues with back and need surgery? See Dr Agren for sure. Awesome doctor and a straight shooter which seems to be hard to find these days.

Patient of Dr. Shubert for rotator cuff surgery and couldnt ask for a more thorough doctor. She took the time to explain everything and gave me ample time to ask questions. Genuinely concerned enough to follow up with personal phone calls. I got the feeling she treated every patient as if it was her only one. Highly recommended!

I have been a patient in this office since 2004. At first, I saw Dr. Mats Agren. He later referred me to Dr. Rodrigue. To make a long story short, I ended up having both of these doctors operate on me---my back and my hip. I was always treated with respect, professionalism, great skill, patience, and they spoke to me and my family at our level (I am a nurse, no other member in my family has any medical background.) When I called from Bangor, I could be assured that I would hear from the doctor. Yes, I always have. Sometimes what was concerning me could be handled over the phone. Many times, we were making a trip to Falmouth, so that the doctor could assess the situation, examine me, prescribe either testing or treatment.---The office staff is ALWAYS wonderful! Always caring, patient and wanting to take care of my needs to the best of their ability!--These doctors know what they are doing and know how to do it so that I can have the best outcome possible. Thank you, Drs. Rodrigue and Agren! Karen Holt, Bangor, Maine
