I knew I was in safe hands even as I was signing up to be Dr. Saylors patient. Having seen her a few times now, I have a great sense of relief. She is remarkably attentive, intelligent, personable. Absolutely no sense of hurry. On top of getting and familiarizing my medical records and initiating recommendations. I cannot speak too highly of her or of my satisfaction.

A very happy, responsive, convenient, and compassionate practice that we the patients are fortunate to be a part of. Both doctors are such good listeners and will make whatever time needed available as well as making specialty appointments happen in a timely way. I am grateful!

My family members have unfortunately been attended by a great many physicians over the years, and some of them were good, but very seldom were any great by that definition. Dr. Saylor is one of the great ones. From our first conversation, it was clear that she saw us not as “the gallbladder in #313” but as real people with real needs and real suffering, which she was anxious to alleviate as much as possible. And her good attitude and good intentions are accompanied by excellent skills and lively intelligence. She keeps up with the literature and knows how things work. And perhaps most unusual of all, she is excited and glad to learn new things, rather than feeling challenged or threatened if the patient has new data or hard questions. She finds things that other doctors have missed and she follows up on her findings with diligence and creativity if the standard solution isn’t working. Sickness is not itself a blessing but it can occasionally afford an opportunity for blessings, and knowing Dr. Saylor definitely has been a blessing for us.

Dr. Saylor is an amazing physician: compassionate, easy to connect with and absolutely brilliant! Dr.s Barr and PA Steve Saylor are similarly terrific.

Dr Saylor has more than met my expectations for a concierge physician and geriatrician. She responds promptly to my questions and concerns as voiced by phone or email. She visited my wife and me regularly without needing an appointment. She is very skilled in her profession and l believe she is the best Dr. engaged in geriatrics medical care in southern Maine. This is evidenced by the fact she has been on tv and the front page of the Sunday paper answering all the questions when corana virus was getting started in Maine.So l was very pleased to find that she would make house calls here at the Lodge and since my wife suffered with Parkinsons Disease, l signed on with her firm.Dr. Saylor has certainly lived up to my expectations. When she comes here, she is never rushed, and stays until all my questions and needs are cared for.The only other doctors l have seen are the house Drs here at the Lodge.
