Love Dr Laughlin.Do not like trying to call the office. My eye dr system is terrible

I hadnt been to the eye Dr. in a few years, ever since my last one retired. Its a headache trying to find a new person to go to for any kind of medical care. Whether its this, a general practitioner, or a dentist...its a little intimidating to find a new one. I called several places, either they couldnt see me for a month, just an exam was $150 or BOTH! Let me put anyone in a similar boats mind at ease. Go here. Affordable, the staff was great and Dr. Wade was both so personable and professional that I will be going here until he retires...which I hope is a very long time from now. This is the first review I have ever written, and the experience with finding this practice out of the blue was what made me take the time to do this.

My husaband and I started seeing Dr. Wade in 2017. The Staff is so friendly and Dr. Wade takes his time with you and he explains everything in detial. The staff laughs with you and is so caring and friendly they make you feel like family.

I started having a lot of floaters in my right eye while driving here from Virginia Beach on a late Friday afternoon. By the time I got to town it was after 5:00 and everything was closed and besides, we had a concert to attend in Greensburg. On Saturday I tried calling several places and they all were closed. I left a message for Dr. Loughlins office in case someone could call. Around 9:15 in the evening, Dr. Laughlin called me and asked me about my symptoms and told me what he thought it probably was, but also the possibility of retinal detachment. Her offered to open his office on Sunday morning to look at me and test the eye. He said if it was a retinal detachment he would tell me to go to the university eye center in Morgantown. I have never been a patient of his, but he spent fifteen minutes of his personal time to help me and answer my questions. A true professional and very generous person to help me as he did.

I had a great experience here! I was provided sample contacts to try hassle-free, the office was always very quick to get back to me, and the doctor was fantastic.

Trying to get a clear answer from this office is next to impossible. Do not tell a patient that you have ordered their contacts for each eye, when in fact, only one was ordered. I had the receptionist inform me when I called last week that both were ordered. Come to find out, they never ordered the right eye. This is beyond frustrating. When I asked for my prescription over the phone, she would not give it to me either. I keep getting the run around. I will not be back to that office. Save yourself the time and trouble and go elsewhere.

When your insurance tells a place that they messed up and cannot charge you after the fact and I keep telling you after over that. they have a problem. Most unprofessional place ever. Overcharging someone when all the classes are the same and the frames cost about a dollar but they want to charge you $300 and because it has somebodys name stamped on the side
