Ludlowe Center for Health is a lovely clean facility with caring staff. My mom rehabbed there recently and we had excellent service from the lady at the desk and the administrator to all nursing staff. The food is good and the guy from the kitchen very helpful.I recommend Ludlowe for anyone who needs rehabilitation.

Ludlowe agreed to pick up my elderly father from Yale New Haven Hospital after 45 days in bed for short term rehab. They called me an hour before claiming they did not accept his insurance. We had him all ready and packed. No pick up, no calls returned and no compassion for the elderly or the family/caregivers I do not recommend this facility.

My Mother was here doing rehab from cancer surgery, She had multiple extenuating circumstances with her medical condition. The staff at Ludlowe, Jimmy, all the nurses and PT people, stepped up and were amazing. I am 3,000 miles away. Couldnt have had her in a better place. Thank you to all the folks there!

My mother has had several illnesses over the years which have resulted in a stay at Ludlowe. It is with 100% certainty that I can report that this staff and facility is beyond the best. I spoke with several other patient family members that told me sad stories of different experiences with other rehab facilities in the area. I assured each and every one that they would not have to deal with those issues at Ludlowe. The staff took care of my mother’s rehabilitation and even my emotional needs like we were like family. Deb, Gigi, Christelle, Lynette, Sheeah, Diana, Claudia, Meny, Denise, Chris, Amanda, Bing, Ben...the list goes on and on. You are amazing people. I would give 500 stars if I could. We miss you already!

Great staff from the nurses to the aids, administrators & social director However the food fails at every level-Unappetizing, unappealing and often inedible. Hot meals that are usually cold, beans that are undercooked and limited choices (grilled cheese sandwiches & peanut butter sandwiches are the few alternatives)make meals an unpleasant experience. Ive had a parent & a good friend here. Being in rehab is hard enough for our loved ones. We dont need to make it worse.

This is a continuation of my wifes Stephanie Berríos Review because hers was to long: the doctors had left my medically sedated to her lungs to to heal from the 15th to the 18th. On the 19th they tried to lessen the sedation but my mom would not become full conscious. On the 20th they performed a ct scan to be sure everything was okay with her brain and it came out clear. On top of that when they got my mother lab results back her white blood count was 56,000 and the normal for an adult human being is 11,000. It blew the doctors mind. Come to find out she had a serious blood infection and pneumonia to the point her lungs were full of pus and so much fluid. On the 22nd my mother stop producing urine, breathing wasnâ t stable even with the vent and with minimal sedation would not wake up. On the 23rd they had to start dialysis because she went into kidney failure and by February 25th my mom went in to cardiac arrest and had to be shocked 3 times. At that point my mom was too far gone the doctors told us they thought it was best to make the call and take her off life support. My family knew our mother was suffering and she was so swollen to the point that liquid was oozing from her arms and legs. They stopped all life support at 945am on February 25th and by 1026am our mother was gone. All this could have been avoided if my mom was brought to the hospital when she asked to be transferred but instead our family lost her due to septic shock at the young age of 62years old. What makes it even worse I received a phone call today 2 1/2 months since she passed and was asked to do a servay about my mothers stay!! Please people if you have an ill family member please be careful where you place them!!! My mother may have possibly still been alive if the medical staff listened to her. An individual knows their body then anyone else so these doctors and nurses need to stop playing God and listen to their patients!!!
