Its seem like no matter what office you go to, they are never on time!I left northbay for this reason a long time ago. Unfortunately the job Im applying for uses northbay. I have been here a hour. There was one person ahead of me when I was checking in. Its now been 40 minutes since the last person left..No one can find the employee

The physicians at NorthBay Medical Center saved my husbands life. He had a heart attack, open heart surgery, yes, in our little community hospital and every serious issue there was dealt with professionally. The nurses were and are competent and compassionate. If a bed is in the middle of a hallway, it is because every bed is full and I have been in that bed myself watching nurses tap dance as fast as they can. Kudos to everyone!

I survived a self harm attempt, and you would think that the nurses would have at least been humane enough to wipe my face off after force feeding me charcoal paste to detox. Unfortunately my drug of choice caused some difficult behavior for a while, but they had at least 6 cooperative hours to let me wipe my face myself. When you have a high fever and are hallucinating you may not realize people are trying to help you right away. I was terrified after waking, surrounded by a bunch of yelling nurses but once I calmed down they could’ve just wiped my mouth off. When everyone else has a clean face you presume you do too if you can’t feel anything on your face. I was very saddened when looking in the mirror for the first time after what seemed like 12 hours in bed. After surviving such an ordeal I shouldn’t have to feel shame when seeing myself for the first time. They offered me wipes for my body and food to eat while essentially making a silent joke out of me the entire time. Not even the senior staff cared. They did what was legally required but they clearly didn’t view me as a person.

My sister in law died at northbay Last Friday 17th from necrolizing fascitis... Not from gouty/ arthritis, as diagnosed at vacavalley hospital, on Monday the 13th. If I could give them less stars ... I would... One more thing.... You really dont want to see pics... Its flesh eating bacteria...

Worst bedside manners of any doctor I have been to. My husband went in for a pleurisy condition which can case cardiac arrest. The doctor ignored him and didnt order even a chest xray and no medication for his condition. We received a phone call from him 6 hours later and then he ordered a chest xray.

Probably the worst hospital to go to lobby full of patients floor full of medical techs going in circles like they are lost just looking for there checks no communication between staff members and beyond hours of waiting Im appalled by the professionalism is this place especially because its the medical field and lets not forget they are rude as hell

Been sitting in room for a whole day hungry so they decide to bring fruit cup and crackers and elementary apple juice box after I hade to ask for something to eat then i ask them do have some real food all they said is that only have that or a sandwich like your in jail this place is horrible

Labor & Delivery had the only nurse I enjoyed here. They also had one who laughed at my birth plan and suggested something else which resulted in a scary situation/bad reaction during labor. The majority of nurses in the after labor ward had appalling bedside manner. This hospital has me fearing for my second delivery so much that I’ll be going to Davis for the birth of my second child instead.

My dad is a United States veteran and they charged him $530,000 for a 31 hour stay in the hospital. He had two stents put in his heart. They even kicked him out of the hospital cuz he didnt have his veteran card on him to prove he have insurance. This place is a joke. He had non invasive surgery. This is robbery. And the VA wont cover that

Took a while of waiting to go to ER. Not a bad thing as they are efficient, caring, professional and kind. They also seem to triage well.-I’ve been an ER RN for a very long time. I wish I could have worked there!Seriously, this was the most impressive efficient ER I’ve seen especially when it comes to efficiency. (Spotless as well! It may be the cleanest hospital I’ve seen)My only complaint is that I don’t live close enough to get any needed future healthcare there.(I was passing through on freeway when realized I needed help.)I’m grateful/ thankful for everyone there.***Thank you for letting me tell you how great they are***

My husband has been here several times now on an emergency basis, and I can truthfully say they have vastly superior staff and caregivers as compared to Kaiser Vacaville, Queen of the Valley in Napa, and Vallejo Kaiser. The nurses are amazing, and my husband always has received excellent care.

I have had open heart surgery as well as other emergencies during my 40+ years living in this area. This hospital has always provided caring, competent, knowledgeable, detailed care to me and my family. I would recommend Northbay to everyone.

Have had nothing but a great experience at Northbay. I have alot of experience with different medical groups. Have had issues they could not correct at UC Davis. Northbay has been available to take care of my needs. If they cant figure it out they are always willing to refer you to Mayo Clinic or outside of the group for help.

This hospital is always professional and caring! My son was pronounced dead due to an Epileptic seizure🙏🏽 He came there a lot....on many different occasions and service has always been superior. I came in to emergency....after I was seen within the hour and went home happy! My daughter’s there being admitted today with some sort of insect bite that caused her to be ill and they’re admitted her to run antibiotics and fluids!(same professional service) I spoke to (Breanna)in Emergency transfers me over to a guy named Mike;) in Emergency where my daughter was located, and my daughter called me back literally within 3 minutes. She’s an young adult (23). They tested her for COVID-19, oh negative 😊🙏🏽 Again, just professional all the time! Thanks for reading.

They need more staffing.

I am very disturbed the way they are treating a loved one. It is very distressing because she got in a very bad accident and after multiple treatments she’s screaming of pain. They have to hear trough a phone her screaming and crying begging for help. I was promised by the practitioner to have her in no pain. I understand nurses are trying and working hard, but this nurse is not trying to help our loved one or the family.

They dropped my tetnis booster (WHICH I HAD TO ASK FOR) on the ground and picked it up without saying a word. NEVER been to a doc that forgets to give you preventative shots immediately after saying you need them

Bathrooms disgusting. Forced to hold my urine because i how horrible they were.Came in because of Bleeding stool and severe headache with abdominal pain. Couldnt even use restroom because how unsanitary it was. In waiting room over 2 hours. Told when vitals were being taken that Id be given medicine for pain. Never given anything. Told because I wasnt having anything serious like chest pains that it was going to be a longer wait. I came in and informed staff i was told by a 24hr nurse that i needed to go to emergency room immediately and this is how it went. I decided to leave to go to another hospital because i was told it would be a while more before i could be helped.

My baby born here and was amazing the attention and who they took care my baby in all the whole process... from the delivery to the days after I had to be in the room in recover. The nurseries are amazing! I never will forget who one of them treat me so patient, lovely and dedicated after my delivery until the last day. Thank you !

Brought my 4 Month old son to the emergency room and I have been sitting here for more than an hour and have yet to be seen by a doctor. I have asked the staff when I could hope to be seen several times and they just assure me that I am next and they are just waiting for a room to open up.UPDATE - 2 Hours now. Still haven’t been seen, I’m still “next in line” though so that’s reassuringUPDATE - 3 Hours now. People who have arrived after us have been seen and left. Asked for an update again, new lady is on shift at the front desk. She too assured me I am “next in line”. I informed her that I have been told this before and she told me there was nothing she could do.UPDATE - 3 1/2 Hours now. I was going to wait and update this at the 4 hour mark but a frantic woman just came in and asked for a gurney because her 3 year old grandson busted open his head and can’t walk in. Instead of just assisting her and grabbing a gurney the woman stated “Why you need a gurney?”.UPDATE - 3 3/4 Hours now. The woman still doesn’t hasn’t been helped. There are 6 nurses behind the counter doing nothing, the woman stole a gurney and I helped her push him into the hospital.UPDATE - My wife, our 4 month old and I decided to give up at the 4 1/2 hour mark. We just went home and stayed awake with him all night until we could get him seen by his Doctor. He was projectile vomiting so we were concerned that if we went to sleep he could vomit in the middle of the night with no help. The whole experience was ridiculous. I just hope whoever reads this does not go to this hospital themselves. It’s horrible.

Beware, I was physically asulted by the hospital staff and the emergency room Doctor, these people Stereo type, judge and internationally make you suffer in pain. I have been on high strength pain medication for almost 30 years, prescribed by doctors and they know this and purposely denied any form of relief, hence I had to self medicate and overdosed because of this. I will be posting videos, pictures and names of the people who treated me like garbage now I almost lost my life because of the way I was treated by the Er doctor and staff and I lost the will to live, People please beware you do have rights and they think that they are above God, or better than God, what really bothers me is that they dont care and this kind of treatment has to stop and stop Now!!!

I gave one star for the complimentary valet parking! This place is a death sentence. They watched my MoM die a horrible death. Staff didnt see signs of sepsis. Dr. Working the wing last week of her life wasnt interested in her deteriorating body. Had sepsis for WEEK! Day before she died d they moved her to ICU. She was 81 years old a month shy of 82. Northbay needs lessons on Empathy! She was just one patient to you but the WORLD to me😭 Rest Peacefully M❣️M!!

We brought my 3year old grandson to the Emergency room a month ago as he has been having on off fever. Waited from 12 AM till 6AM and no Doctor showed up to check on him. A lot of patients have been there ahead of us and started complaining of the poor service. They renovated the place but not their staff!

I am going to sue this hospital for medical malpractice. I told the psychiatrist I wasnt mentally ill and they wouldnt listen. I told them I would sue if I wasnt discharged and they sent me to a mental hospital. Good luck in court.

Horrible condescending RN named Chris Who refused to give me her last nameDr. Merrian who I can’t find any info on him as a emergency room doctor , who refused to do a blood test that could prove my son has possibly cat scratch fever. I showed him that he tested positive and my son has been going through delusional thoughts and we have done Eeg, mri on brain, Pysch meds and it could simply need antibiotics. I’m so frustrated with the attitude here

I was shoot by a boyfriend of my step daughter was took there by ambulance. I let them clean the wound . Bullet had hit my wallet which is quite thick which changed the direction of the projectile then entered the front of my left legand exiting my inner thigh and nicking my inner thigh of my right leg .I dont like needles so they said they would give antibiotics in the pill form which they never did then cleaned my wound and gave scrubs and socks and rushed me out of the hospital with no form of antibiotic. So l call and asked why he said they were order then cancelled .I asked if I could get them when I called. And was told flat out no I needed to come in with. A infection I was like wow what the hell I was told they were order that night but then cancelled them why is beyond me. I wouldnt mind if it werent a bullet wound. But if my leg were to become infected I can lose it or die. Wow

Very nice staff and pleasant experience. Took my 80 yr old father to the ER. Who is a difficult person to please. He was very happy with his visit.

Saved my life, excellent ICU and post operative care. Nurses were especially kind and informative. Of course there is room for improvement, I also coukd have been a better patient or changed my habits and diet before my heart attack but in a perfect world there would be no need for emergency health care.I will learn to live better after being given a second chance to live longer.

The medical staff are fantastic, but the billing department sends us invoices for visits that we paid for while we were there. They have done it a few times and I finally decided to let everyone else know. Watch them they cant seem to get it right.

What a wonderful experience!! I was treated with respect, dignity, and like an appreciated patient. The entire staff is extremely professional, positive, and work tgether like a large, happy family who wants to be of service to you. I am probably the worlds worst patient post surgery and their patience, concern and quick response to my every need was exemplary. Every department from the emergency room, intake staff, and cafeteria included long-term staff that demonstrated pride and pleasure in their daily operations. I highly recommend this facility.

This hospital is a joke!!!! Here we are almost 5 hours and still in the waiting room in the e.r. TRYING to be seen!! They keep saying they dont have any clean rooms clean rooms?? Im waiting for some rooms to be clean? Get it together North Bay!!! I have never waited almost 5 hours to not even be seen yet!!!!!!!!!! Ridiculous!!!

Unless youre at the brink of death dont come here. I came in at 9:00 i wasnt able to breath which I later found out it was asthma and I waited 4 hours . I had to work the next day at 4 am . I decided to leave and take my chances will not come here again they had me wait 4 hours because I sounded fine apparently. I went to another hospital and there they told me I had asthma and possibly an asthma Attack. 3rd bad experience here so far and last one

Many horrible nurses eager to dope with Ativan so they knock a patient out cold they dont have to be bothered. Female Doc, looks sorta exotic but dont let her beauty fool ya. She is rude, abrupt, and with the worse attitude runs around like she is busy but wastes time reading prior records when an ER visit is normally an event thats new or drastic change. Never does exam, look in ears, eyes, touch abdomen area as all docs are supposed to. Having Goodstones luckbut not even provide fluids or a Tylenol! They may make you worse! Probably best to see a regular doc in office. Even wait a week or two its that terrible and the wait is 4-6 hours definitely.

Dr steven garcia in the emergency room department was awesome,! He got my blood pressure stable...the nurses and staff were also great

Horrible facility with an unprofessional and uneducated billing staff. I have always had insurance but these idiots took down my information wrong. They NEVER sent a bill or called. All of the sudden, months later, I get a call from their collections agency. So I called the facility and asked about any bills remaining in my name and gave them my insurance info AGAIN. They assured me I had talked to all of the departments I needed to and that they were going to bill my insurance and let me know if I had any responsibility after insurance. I received a new bill a month later which I promptly paid. A few weeks down the line I get another call from their collections and upon calling the facility they state that I have to call each individual department I visited at the original visit and request individual dept billing info! They told me over a month ago I was good to go! These idiots still have to run my insurance! I have not had ANY issues with my insurance anywhere else! I have tricare its not complicated! Not to mention the lousy care I received from their ER while I was there!

Horrific staff and leadership.Director asked patient name and that was the last time the doctor came by for 12 hours. Records showed that he did a physical evaluation. So asking a patients name = veal at NorthBay medical.A Pervy hospital security gaurd , Anthony, got hostile when he was caught trying to watch my daughter undress. He yanked the privacy curtain away and demanded he had to watch her. We pleaded for a female nurse to take his place. He refused and taunted us. We called for help and identified his Pervy behavior and he vanished down corridors.The list of missteps , misinformation, lack of device could go in forever.Asking for supervision to help, only results in police arriving and you are named the aggressor. The cops were nice. And when they found no merit to the hospital claims, they peaceably left after they could not get the hospital to release ya to the care of another hospital. When they could not fight the beauracracy, they left.Unless you will bleed to death...keep driving a bit further to ANY other medical facility for help

Im not the patient, but the doctors are insensitive and rude to their patients, and after they deiced that they dont want to treat the patient anymore, they make should that they are busy and never call back. My family and I havent heard from the doctor since the first day my aunt arrived. Shes been there are almost 2 weeks.

Worst place to go to for emergency services. Checked in at 2, took about 45 mins to get called in the triage room- which was fine. After that, we sat for another hour and a half just to get called in for a blood draw. More waiting. It wasn’t until 5, almost 6 hours later until one of the ED techs came to the waiting room to take my vitals again- which I actually thought it was odd to do so since the waiting room was packed with other patients- and at that time was when he mentioned how behind the ER was with waiting for a room to open up. The experience probably would have been better if they decided to communicate earlier. Only chose to come here because Sutter was out of network and I thought I was better off than going to the Queen because of the Napa traffic and how much pain I was in. Note to self: I’d rather sit through the pain in traffic going to Napa than come back here again.No thank you, NorthBay, I don’t plan on calling to further discuss this.

Horrible wait time. Literally been in the ER for 5 and a half hours and haven’t been called. So many patients have been discharged from the hospital & my wife still hasn’t been seen by a doctor. This lobby was packed with patients but because they never came out for them they left without being seen. I don’t know what is keeping them so long but they need to find a solution ASAP. This isn’t the first time this has happened.

Horrible. Father in law has been there for 5 days with no test run, one nurse said he was to Fat to move to mri. Lawyer has been contacted but this place is more like a death sentence then place of healing. I had a seizure 4 years ago, first one of my life, they let me go home same night, just to have a another and be sent back. The ambulance company remembered me the second time and thankfully took me to kaiser instead. Open your cases and lets close this place.

Nurse Peter is awesome but the facility is worst. Our room is next to a mental patient whos been yelling night and day Plus you have to share bathroom with them and constantly opening our door access.

The security guards there have at North Bay have zero diplomatic skills. They are aggressive and threaten you. The security guards are very toxic. I had a run in with a supervising guard. These guys are liabilities. These security guards personalities would NEVER allow them to become peace officers. If you ever listen in on one of their primitive conversations you will most likely here them talking about their mma skills or some bs.

I was actually never a patient here however, I was sent to collections by Northbay Healthcare. So I called to dispute the charges and try and track down information as to how they received my personal information,. The lady on the phone was able to look up my account based on my name and the patient # on the collections notice (which is crazy seeing that Ive never stepped foot in one of their facilities), but once I mentioned fraudulent charges, she wouldnt tell me anything about the supposed visit to their facility. I dont even live in the Bay Area! I live two hours north of Fairfield and have no reason to be anywhere near that city. Ill be taking my claim to police but I doubt the local law enforcement have a hospital bill fraud unit. Rediculous

My wife was in labor an I went to go lock my car beause I rushed there from work, found 2 people in my car tred to stop them they stole 2 lottery tickets I purchased the same morning the both won for $50 an $20 . I told security which is supposed to patrol the parking which they were not . Long story short always lock your car in Ff .

It looks like they have only 2 doctors on duty. They take too long to see a single person but they sure come in a hurry to get your information to bill the insurance. They should bill the insurance when you are being discharged after receiving services, not when you are in the waiting room. Very disappointed of this hospital.
