Highly recommend Dr. Rubinfeld and his team. My LASIK eye surgery two months ago was successful and Ive had no complications. My astigmatism met its match and daily contacts/glasses already feels like a distant memory. Dr. Rubinfeld is warm, funny, and took time to put me at ease and answer all of my questions. I especially appreciated his kind guidance and support during the procedure itself. Dr. Rubinfeld and Dr. Kim are experts and instill confidence with their knowledge of the field. The staff team is very friendly and responsive, including to text messages. Dr. Rubinfeld is a pro worthy of entrusting your eye care.

I had my lasik procedure done by Dr. Rubinfeld in September 2020 and had a fantastic experience with him and his team. Even better, my results have been phenomenal. I like to joke that I have laser vision but there is some accuracy to that. My vision has only continued improving since the operation, especially my night vision.

Ive been wearing glasses since I had a kid and been wearing contacts for 17 years and Ive been wanting Lasik for a while. I had previously had consultations with The Eye Center and had a terrible experience with their staff - even though they did state I was a candidate for Lasik. A friend recommended Dr. R. and it was such night an day from The Eye Center. Getting any eye surgery is a nerve-wracking and Dr. R and his staff made me really comfortable. I had Lasik on Feb 17, took it easy for a few days and by day 4 I woke up and didnt feel sore AT ALL. Its incredible to wake up with better vision than I ever had with contacts or glasses. Seriously the best decision!

Had PRK done in late December 20 because I had RK done in 92. A lot more complicated than lasik and was turned down by a few doctors until I was recommended to go to Dr. Rubinfeld. Our meeting was very honest with what expectations and reality would be, recuperative time, etc. I went in and had a clear idea of what to expect and outcome. A couple of months later and Im 20/20 with expectations achieved on every level! He is a great doctor and I highly recommend him. In addition his staff is very professional and will help guide you through the entire process. They are an exceptional team!Just a quick addition - just had my 6 month review and all is great - love these guys!!

I am so grateful for Dr. Rubinfeld. After a botched lasik in one eye at another clinic, I came here to ensure that the other eye would have the best care. Not only is Dr. Rubinfeld the best but the kind of trust you are able to build here will let you be the best patient meaning your surgery is quick! Heres the comparison: other clinic - took 6 minutes for one eye, very uncomfortable, recovery was painful, eye drops were goopy and I lost all my eyelashes, 1 year later still have double vision... Re:Vision: surgery was 2 minutes on one eye, recovery was painless, eye drops were no biggie and I kept all my eyelashes, 1 month later perfect vision. GO HERE.

Dr Rubinfeld and his staff were professional, educational, and offered a positive solution to my son’s vision challenges. I was impressed by his sincere desire to credibly inform us of the procedures that will mitigate the effects of my son’s condition, as well as establish reasonable expectations of the outcomes. He also took the time to consider alternate solutions that have been offered by other eye specialists in order to provide his best recommendation. I cannot say enough about how great my experience was with Dr. Rubinfeld. After 30 years of glasses and contacts I am finally seeing clearly on my own! From the start of the process, Dr. Rubinfeld and his team were thorough, warm, and inspired nothing but confidence. I had LASIK in the midst of COVID and felt very safe the entire time. They checked my temperature at the door, disinfected surfaces, everyone wore masks and I noticed many protective plastic shields around the office to ensure proper safety. The office was virtually empty so I wasn’t worried about being around too many people. During the procedure Dr. Rubinfeld talked me through what was happening while giving much needed encouragement. He eased my anxieties the entire way through. Now I am seeing clearly and keep thinking, I should have done this years ago. I would highly recommended Dr. Rubinfeld and his team any day.

Dr. Rubinfeld is an extremely friendly doctor that will take the time to explain what is going on. He is very knowledgeable and talks to you as an equal. He spent a lot of time working with me on a complicated issue and never once rushed me out, I felt welcome the whole time even though I was taking up much more time than expected. The staff was also extremely friendly, from the moment I booked the appointment until I walked out the door I was never looking for help, there was always someone guiding me along. I highly recommend this practice!

When my son was diagnosed with Keratosis the specialist told us that Dr. Rubinfeld would be who he would chose for his family. We were not disappointed! Our particular case became more difficult with our sons anxiety issues but Dr. Rubinfield guided us through the process of finding other experts who could assist with the anxiety. This then allowed our son to complete the procedure and have a successful outcome that was even greater than Dr. Rubinfeld advised at our initial meeting. We are truly grateful for the service that Dr. Rubinfield has provided and would not hesitate recommending him.

In February of 2020, I had a consultation with Dr. Rubinfeld about my concern with a cornea abrasion that was treated years ago but left one of my eyes with a scarred cornea, blurred vision and sensitivity to light. Although, wearing glasses helps my vision, I was hoping that there was room for improvement. My hope was that perhaps surgery would possibly correct my vision issues. Dr. Rubinfeld was very through in examining my eyes, and used various high tech equipment in determining a recommendation. He ruled out keratoconus, which was a good thing. Dr. Rubinfeld is very personable, has a good sense of humor along with his knowledge in his field helped me to better understand that performing some type of cornea lasik surgery would not be of much value to this cornea scar. What he did recommend was a different glass prescription that would increase my overall vision. Although, Dr. Rubinfeld could have moved forward with the cornea surgery, I respected his honesty that surgery would not really provide me with much improvement in terms of my overall vision. I highly recommend Dr. Rubinfeld for his professional background, knowledge and integrity along with his warm personality and sensitive nature. Id like to also add that his staff is highly trained, through, personable and made be feel comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed the consultation. Thank you again!

Its been a few months since my procedure and everything has gone very smoothly. The procedure itself is very quick and Dr Rubinfeld and his team provided amazing support before, during and after the procedure. Im still following through with my followup exams(checkups every few months for the year following the procedure) but so far so good!

Dr.R is super high energy, very informative, and considered a hero in my family. Dr.R saved my vision and is the reason I even have a shot at serving in the armed forces. He was very engaged throughout the whole process and honestly I could not ask for a better doctor. I had Lasik with Dr. Rubinfeld 9 months ago and remain thrilled with the results. After going to many consultations over the years, it wasnt until I met Dr. Rubinfeld were I felt comfortable enough to have the procedure. With his experience, you are in the best possible hands. Dont wait a minute longer. A life without dry, itchy contacts is possible!

From the diagnosis, to the procedure itself, I felt completely comfortable and educated about the benefits of Dr. Rubinfeld’s epithelial-on procedure to correct keratoconus. After the procedure, my recovery took less than a week. It is very much worth your time to at least consult Dr. Rubinfeld, and I would recommend this to anyone who suffers from keratoconus.

I wish I could give Dr. Rubinfeld and everyone in his office 100 stars.I used to have really poor distance vision. Ive been wearing glasses since I was in the fourth grade and contacts since I became an adult. I hated them both. Ive always hated glasses, and contacts are really uncomfortable for me after a couple of hours, but I preferred them when I went out. Anyway, Ive been thinking about LASIK for more than 10 years, but Ive always been terrified of having the procedure done for fear of something going wrong -- Im a giant baby, whatever. Then one day I finally stopped being a giant baby and did some research on the best surgeons in the field and scheduled some consultations, and I was very happy with Dr. Rubinfeld.Hes not just a great doctor, hes a great person. Hes honest, hes funny, hes caring and if you do your homework, youll know youre in good hands. Also, I like hugs, and he gave me a hug after my last followup. If thats not good enough for you, let me say Im typing this review with 20/15 vision two weeks after my operation. I was 20/20 the day after surgery. I feel like in six months Im going to have x-ray vision.Dont worry, Id use that power for good, not evil.Its not just Dr. Rubinfeld, everyone in the office is wonderful. Jenny and Dr. Kim are always there if you have any questions; after my surgery they checked up on me, they dealt with my annoying super-sensitive questions (e.g., I touched my eye, Im scared, what do I do?). I really appreciate doctors and professionals who genuinely care about their patients.One thing Ive been asking myself during the last two weeks is why did I wait so long? I dont exactly regret not having LASIK done sooner -- I feel like it was the right time for me. But at the same time, seeing the world the way I do today, life is more enjoyable. Its like my vision went from CRT standard definition to 4K HDTV. I know it sounds like an exaggeration, but its not. I see detail and color better than I have in a really long time, maybe ever as far as I can remember. I want to say Ive never, or at least not in a long time, passively noticed the leaves on trees, now I do. Also, I dont get as tired sitting in front a screen, probably because Im no longer constantly squinting. I notice more detail, objects seems sharper, I can see far away. Not an ethnic friendly physician at all. Much like a stop and run shop. I would not recommend this physician at all for any ophthalmic care or treatment. Staff is pleasant, yet physician lacks professionalism. Try seeing the physician whom he rents his office space from Dr. Boutros.

I was referred by another ophthalmologist to Dr. Rubinfeld as I have keratoconus. He and his team have helped me tremendously and I am very appreciative.
