I have been to her practice for routine procedures, like dental cleanings, but also for Invisalign and Zoom teeth whitening, and every time I had an appointment I left feeling reassured and satisfied. Today I had a deep cleaning and Dr. Kaur suggested a new numbing method without an injection! All I had to do was swish in my mouth for 1min and just like that my gums were numb! I did not feel any pain! I was impressed! And I didn’t have the weird external numbing feeling that happens with the numbing injections. I have been to this dentist couple of times this year about extraction of my wisdom teeth, deep cleaning and other teeth maintain works. It is close to my home and Dr Namrata is very professional and friendly. She gave me the good suggestions and great treatment. My teeth problem was resolved well. Will continue to visit here for future teeth clean and maintenance and will recommend to my friend.

I originally saw Dr. Kaur with no issues for a few visits, but then she said I needed 5 fillings which I originally scheduled over 2 appointments, but took an extra appointment due to poor scheduling on her part. The last filling was a cavity between two teeth that was done improperly and caused a large gap between those two teeth that caused large amounts of food to get stuck in it. When I went back to the office a fourth time about this, she said I would need to come back a fifth time to have one of the teeth re-filled. At this point I lost most faith in Dr. Kaur and decided to go see my childhood dentist in another state to get their opinion. This dentist was able to fix the filling and stated that the filling they just fixed was poorly done. I also showed them X-rays from earlier this year and they were shocked I had any of my “cavities” filled. They said there were small spots, but it was shocking Dr. Kaur did not wait more than 6 months to see if the extremely small spots would heal on their own. I also had billing issues with this office and got billed an extra $200 that the office said was a mistake when I brought it to their attention. Thanks to Dr. Kaur I most likely got 5 fillings I did not need that will likely cost me hundreds of dollars over my lifetime. Not to mention a crown the most recent dentist said I might need in the future due to her poor work. Avoid her at all costs.

My first and probably last dentist, as long as I stay in the area.I used to have a phobia for dental procedures. I would lose sleep the night before a regular cleaning session, just so you know how afraid I am of going to the dentists.Dr. Kaur has changed all that. Shes the most caring, diligent, and skilled dentist that I have ever had. Unlike other dentists who just want to get the job done so they can get to other patients, or recommend you with necessary treatments, Dr. Kaur is very patient, sympathetic, and has never made me feel pressured to proceed with anything that I do not feel comfortable with. She only gives you honest advice and always backs it up with x-rays and careful examination. During the treatments, she lets you know in detail what each step of the process entails, and it really helps in keeping you at ease.Overall, I cannot recommend Dr. Kaur enough. If you are like me who are afraid of the dentists, come to Dr. Kaur. She will change your mind and fix your dental issues before you know it. 6/5 stars if I could!!

Ive been to Dr. Kaur twice now (once for cleaning and second for filling) and I highly recommend her. When I first went for a cleaning (been too long...) she was super nice, helpful, and very gentle. She spent an hour with me for a cleaning. I havent been to a dental office where the dentist actually cleans your teeth, its usually the hygienist. So I was super surprised by that. She also spent a lot of time and patience answering my questions. I felt that my cleaning was really thorough. The second time was for a filing and I hate filings. But she made the process comfortable, quick (45 min for two filings), and way less scary. The front office staff are SUPER nice and helpful and they always call / text / email to confirm your appointment so you wont forget. I can feel that Im getting over my fear of dentists because of Dr. Kaur.

My relationship with Nova Family Dentistry began when my wife who was experiencing dementia misplaced her bottom plate. The patience and concern that Dr Namrata Kaur and her staff displayed in ensuring that the replacement plate, not only matched her top plate, but complimented her smile are hard to match. I went in for deep cleaning, just after the office reopened from Covid-19 closure. Thy dentist and hygienists used PPE and the cleaning was thorough.

Thinking about writing this review, I dont even know where to begin. I started with Nova Family Dentistry about 4 months ago with about 5 cavities and two root canals. My experience has been more than perfect. From every aspect of how this organization functions you can tell that they really care about the work they do. When I come to the Dentist now, its not a worrisome trip and I dont stress about it at all. I feel as if Im going to see my friends who just happen to be able to fix my teeth. The pricing is excellent and they provide a detailed summary of the pricing before the work is done, that way there are no conflicts. The doctors are very careful and explain everything in detail before they start the procedure. The procedures are always painless and I always leave satisfied, knowing that I have been taken care of. The assistants are always very kind and make sure that you are taken care of. Asma even took the time out of her busy day to call the restaurant downstairs and let them know that I was coming, so that I wouldnt have to go through my appointment on an empty stomach. Don’t know what’s with all the good reviews . I was told in an email that my insurance will cover my X-rays . After I was done I got a call saying my insurance does not cover anything and I have to pay all the money otherwise my name will be send to collections! Nothing more to say. Just disappointed

Worst dentist ever. She is not a dentist but a theft. They bill your insurance double and claim for service they did not provide to you. The first thing she tries to do is to convince you to do deep cleaning whether you need it or not to charge you $600.They are unprofessional, cheap and the worst dentist ever.

Ive never been a huge fan of going to the Dentist in general, but Dr. Kaur has honestly changed that. She is extremely friendly, takes the time to explain what shes doing and why it needs to be done. She has also put her finger on a long-time issue Ive personally struggled with my whole life when going to the dentist; that it would take FOREVER for me to get numb before having anything painful done to my teeth. Apparently caffeine has a lot to do with that and she suggested I dont drink any coffee before coming which made the world of a difference. I was able to get numb in literally half the time it usually takes which no other dentist has ever told me about. She makes her patients feel comfortable and confident that theyre in good hands. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kaur to anyone in the market for a great Dentist!

I have been going to Nova Family dentistry for nearly 3 years now and have had nothing but wonderful experiences there. This time, however, I was scheduled to have my cleaning done by a new doctor that was hired. I ended up waiting nearly an hour while she was finishing up with another patient. It would have been nice to have received a call to tell me they were that far behind so I could have done other things instead of twiddling my thumbs at the office. The cleaning itself was okay, and they did keep apologizing for keeping me waiting. But, they really should have given me the option of waiting or coming back as there were plenty of other things I could have done in that hour.

Dr. Kaur and Sitgut did an excellent job and got me a perfect smile. When I first went to the office I just wanted a routine care, which they did an amazing work in cleaning and getting rid of my tooth ache. As a satisfied customer with the care I received along with the clean work setting, I inquired more about getting additional work done to perfect my smile. Sirgut gave me the basic information and referred me to Dr. Kaur for additional details. After discussing different options, I chose Invisalign as my treatment option. The process from start to end was smooth. The first few days of wearing the Invisalign trays were uncomfortable, but I quickly got used to it. Dr. Kaur was great at promptly addressing any concerns I had over the course of the treatment.Thanks Dr. Kaur and Sirgut for giving me the perfect smile in less than a year.

Horrible. Kaur did a root canal on a tooth with an infected canal. She found two canals, but not the third, infected one. She closed the tooth and sent me off. Almost 6 months later the pain and lump that had developed sent me to a doctor. He had to re open the crown to find the infected root that she had missed. I am now having a crown she did during the same month replaced because she didnt close it. I am told with or without pain, the crown would have to be replaced. Of course I am in tremendous pain. Upon telling Dr. Kaur of my problems, she tells me that I probably just need 1 thing done for one tooth, and that my doctors have not handled it very professionally. THEY ARE FIXING YOUR WORK. I have been completely drained of money, then brushed off. Please do not go to this dentist.

Very friendly, and excellent service. She attended my Mom tooth issue with lot of care and very gently, which is important to me. Dr. Namrata is very sweet and would love to go back to her anytime .

I had to get fillings, a root canal and a crown put in before traveling overseas, and the staff here made the process so easy and worked with me to get everything done before I left. I had trouble finding dentists in the past, but they we so friendly and helpful I dont think Ill look elsewhere.

I have never been happier with a dentist. I have been seeing Dr. Kaur for a few years, and as long as I live in VA I always will. Not only is she a great dentist, who has specialists come to her office for patient procedures, but the way she runs the office is amazing.Her staff is kind and knowledgable. They ALWAYS look into insurance and payments for me, so I dont have to get insanely frustrated trying to do it myself. They give me options for which treatments I need first and tell me exactly how much it will cost. Im not that usual patient who just needs a cleaning now and again - Ive actually had a few extractions and am currently getting implant surgery for 2 implants.You must at least go see her once or you just cant understand why every review on here is so positive!!

Everytime I visit I have a great experience. The staff is lively and friendly, especially Asmae at the front desk. They make me feel welcome and Dr Kaur is always knowledgeable and forthright in explaining my dental situation. In addition, she is also a great conversationalist! I couldnt go anywhere else and feel so at home.

Ive been with Dr. Kaur for a little over a year. I needed a number of procedures, including two root canals and crowns. She worked very hard to make the process as comfortable as possible. The staff is welcoming and conscientious.

Both my spouse and I are now regular customers, and I especially had a very positive experience in using the invisalign service and products NOVA offers. It has helped me solve some important concerns with my upper teeth. My spouse also had a very good experience in receiving a deep cleaning process that allowed her to avoid a full-scale periodental process. We have found Dr. Kaur and staff friendly and very competent.
