Dr. James Go at Movement Chiropractic is wonderful! I feel so much better after one visit. I would definitely recommend his practice to family and friends.

I went here twice, I truly enjoyed and appreciated what Dr. Go did for me but I had to stop due to my back pain getting worse because of my nerves and my orthopedist said I have to stop chiropractic treatment and start physical therapy. But the way this place bills is a rip off and fraud. When I first called to schedule an appointment I was told by one of the receptionists that works there that my insurance wasnt accepted. I thought fine I dont mind out of pocket for the first session to see how the place is. Once I arrived there, another receptionist asked for my insurance to double check if they do accept it, and lo and behold they said they do which I found odd as the first one did the same thing and said they didnt accept it which already gave me a feeling that the place was disorganized with billing, but I let it slip through my mind as I had chronic back pain and needed to see if chiropractic would help. For the first session I paid $135.00 which I thought excessive especially as they said they accepted my insurance but was told that it was my first session and I had x-rays, fair enough I said. Second session was $35.00 and I asked the receptionist if that was all I needed to pay for first and second session to be sure I didnt miss anything and she says YES, that was ALL I needed to pay. Almost seven weeks later I open my mail box and get bogus charges of $50.00+ What?!?! Fraud. Especially considering that I would only get 5-10 minutes with the chiropractor and only do 10-15 min of streching exercises myself. I cant respect a place that is shady with billing. In my almost 5 years of being in America I have never been to place where you co-pay and ask if thats all and was told that is all and then receive extra bogus charges. In my experience, I have either co-payed at reception and received no additional charges, or didnt pay anything at reception and was told I would be billed whatever my insurance takes out. To be told one thing and then given another is not only ridiculous, but, disrespectful.

I HIGHLY recommend the marvelous Dr.Go and the movement chiro team. He cares alot about his patients and wants to help them as much as he can. I am feeling alot better than when I started to see him, and have started to see changes in my posture. Im sending my brother to see him now, and have recommended him to friends. #ItsGOtime

Very professional, friendly and respectful. He is very thorough (especially for your first visit) and makes sure you understand everything he says and does. I am a nurse so I can understand a lot of the medical jargon, but when I dont, he does a very good job of explaining things in laymans terms. I would recommend him to my family and friends in a heartbeat! His staff is also very welcoming and friendly.

This practice is very warm and inviting. The ancillary staff are polite, helpful, and always courteous. Dr. Go really takes his time to know his clients, their needs, and expectations. He has an awesome table-side manner and is mindful of explaining the adjustments before executing them. I would definitely recommend Dr. Go to all my family and friends.

Dr. Go is a skilled And caring doctor. I have been working with him for over a year. He discovered my scoliosis and works to relieve my spinal compression. Each time I see him I feel relief and I also feel like I’m seeing an old friend. He is compassionate, is very generous with his time, his office is spotlessly clean and he is the only chiropractor I will ever need. I have a going to chiropractors Since I was a teenager and have found some to be better than others and Dr. Go is the best; hands down.

Dr. Go is a fantastic chiropractor/healer. His soft adjustments and unique hands on technique is something I’ve never experienced with other chiropractors. He uses a hands-on craniosacral type of therapy paired with adjustments of the fontanel plates. He is kind, understanding and takes the time needed for each patient. I was having issues with vertigo, migraines and a compressed nerve in my foot. Within the first month, my vertigo was gone, my headaches were fewer and the compressed nerve in my foot is feeling much better. I highly recommend Dr. Go!

This place has ruined my life. I came here a while back with back pain. While I appreciated the bedside manner and kindness of the chiropractor, one day during a spinal manipulation he pressed really hard on my back and then all of a sudden I felt this intense pressure at the top of my head. After I left I felt weird in that area but brushed it off as it was mild and fleeting. However, later that night the severe discomfort started and then I started feeling pain. Since that day I have been left with a persistent discomfort and pain in my Occipitofrontalis muscle (Epicranial aponeurosis) area. As if I have a constant headache. After days and days of agony I saw a neurologist who showed me that I had Intracranial Hypotension due to the pressure of the spinal manipulation which impacted my dura. Unfortunately, we are trying non-invasive treatments first before trying the blood epidural in which case Im still in discomfort and pain, however I feel better than I did at the start. Because of this incident at this place, my quality of life has diminished.

Dr. Go is my favorite medical professional and by far the best chiropractor Ive ever seen. His office is very nice, his staff is welcoming and efficient and his location is super convenient. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Gos care. He has a very thorough and innovative approach and I always leave his office feeling great. Dr. Go always has a smile on his face and listens to and addresses any concerns or needs I have and I never feel rushed out. I look forward to my visits because I know Im being well taken care of.

Boy, where to begin. A few months back I was having some tremendous neck and sleep issues. Seeing as it had been a few years since I had seen a chiropractor, I determined it was worth my time to start going again. By Gods grace, I hopped on Google to search for chiropractors, and Movement was the first one that popped up on my feed. I booked an appointment that day with no problems and headed on over.Naturally, ones first impressions of any business are going to be linked to the front desk staff, for better or worse. When I walked into Movement, the first thing I noticed was the utter sense of calm and peace that the office gave off. I was warmly greeted by Jennifer, one of the excellent receptionists at Movement who got me situated and sorted for the appointment. As Ive come to find out, all of the receptionists at Movement are top-notch and have been immensely helpful every time Ive gone in for an appointment. I believe I have met all of the receptionists by this point, and they all do terrific work in caring for you the patient.As for Dr. Go...what a guy. Find you a man who blends professionalism with genuine care and personal touch quite like he does. Naturally, he is very knowledgeable about what hes doing, but thats just the start. I have never been in question about the adjustments hes making or why he is making them, as he always explains a new adjustment. Moreover, he is quite content to work at your level and speed of comfort, whether that be taking things nice and gingerly or going twice a week to do intensive care. And, just as icing on the cake, Dr. Go is an ever-pleasant conversationalist. We have run the gamut of topics during my appointments, and he always has valuable input to offer, even if its nothing more than shootin the breeze on the days happenings.Movement is just a special place. The staff, Dr. Go, the general flexibility (no pun intended) of care and scheduling, the atmosphere...all of it combines together to create an atmosphere of healing and wellness, which is appropriate I suppose. I recommend a chiropractor to most people, and I especially recommend Movement. Give it a try; I think youll like what you find.

A while back, I went a little too hard at the gym and woke up one day barely able to get up out of bed. I was able to get a appointment at Movement Chiro right away. Dr. Go took some x-rays, gave me 3 (quick/easy) exercises to do at home and a quick adjustment. The difference was night and day. I’ve seen chiropractors in the past that overstate the needs of their patients to keep them coming back or try to sell them on unnecessary treatments or equipment. That’s not Dr. Go. I almost cancelled my second appointment to avoid the awkward conversation I was expecting about concluding treatment, but I still had some residual pain so I decided to keep going until I felt 100% and then ghost them. Every time I went I felt a little better and after just a few short visits, when I said I was feeling much better, Dr. Go told me I could keep coming back if I wanted to, but it probably wasn’t necessary. For a moment I thought “are you breaking up with me?”. He’s not trying to create a need where there isn’t one. He doesn’t overwhelm his patients with medical jargon. He doesn’t give you 65 exercises to do 99 times a day that require a special proprietary rubber band that he can sell you. He’s an honest, affable guy who seems to really care about and take an interest in his patients. His staff is always helpful and pleasant (they smile and make eye contact instead of barking Sir! and pushing a clipboard in your face—I hope this catches on in the medical field!). Anyway, everyone at Movement Chiropractic is great and you’d be an idiot to go anywhere else.

A very nice and neat place with calming atmosphere . Staff are so welcoming and Dr. Jame Go is really knowledgeable and listens to patients needs. He took x rays of my back ( I had a back pain due to bad posture) and explained in details everything on the X rays and whats needed to be done to fix my problem.

I have been coming to see Dr. Go for pregnancy related issues. From the first visit, my body felt way more relaxed and I have had less back pains. Hes consistent and makes sure that Im in good shape. James Go is by far the best chiropractor I have ever been to, and I have been to several different people off and on for the past decade. Dr. Go identified the complex underlying issues that were hampering my progress and Ive have seen significant improvement in my posture and reduction of pain in the few months that I have seen him. Dr. Go is great. He and his staff are very friendly. I went in for lower back discomfort. He took xrays, showed them to me, and walked me through how to interpret them. Within a couple visits, I was feeling much better. He also didnt pull the usual chiropractic gimmick of telling me I need to keep coming back. Im fact, after just a couple visits, he recognized I was feeling better and said I dont have to come back unless I feel the need. While Im still a new customer, so far Im very impressed and glad I switched from my last chiropractor.

I had never gone to any other chiropractic office but this one and certainly dont fee like I need to change it. Dr. Go is wonderful. He is knowledgable and very attentive. My pain has been so much better. Also there are some wonderful staff too.

Dr. Go is wonderful! He is an excellent listener and does his best to get to the root of the issue. He even made a house call once after I had been in a car accident. Sometimes my schedule changes and I need to reschedule my appointment and he and his staff are always so helpful. Dr. Go is very much an academic and is up on all the new research which he then brings into his practice. He is so knowledgable and well versed in various forms of treatment. I had been dealing with numbness in hands for years as well as scoliosis. My cervical spine was basically bent the opposite way that it was suppose to be. I was student at George Mason University at the time so I would schedule my appointments after class. In just 6 weeks my X-rays showed great improvement. Also, my numbness was drastically minimized! Dr. Go made me feel so comfortable during the whole process. If I hadnt moved to MD, I would still be a patient of Dr. Go. I have yet to find a Dr. that has such innovative ways to improve healing. I am 71 years old, and this is my first time to visit a chiropractor.I came with a complicated set of issues: rotatory scoliosis, spinal stenosis, osteoarthritis, myalgia, and constant hip arthritic pains.Dr. Go took x-rays of my hip & back areas and promptly discussed with me and my husband diagnosis and chiropractic plan for my condition.Dr. Go proceeded with caution and with remarkable sensitivity to my frail back&hip health, and each procedure he did was truly relieving and easing up knotted muscles & joints.Through the succeeding sessions, Dr. Go remains very professional yet lively and very effective in my treatment(like, the only question that is not good is the one that is not asked at all),I am understanding more how my muscles&joints work (and dont work), andI am developing confidence in my movements.Had i known that i would be all these with a chiropractor partnership, i would have gone decades ago into my years.I highly recommend Dr. James Go and his practice.

Dr. Go is a great chiropractor! After a bad experience with another chiropractor in the area, I have been pleasantly surprised and very pleased with my experiences here. To start, Dr. Go took a few x-rays and explained different treatment options with me. When showing me the x-rays, he explained in detail what needed to be corrected and how he proposed to do it. Before each adjustment, Dr. Go has been sure to explain what hes doing to resolve any worries I might have. After each adjustment, he mentions the progress being made to make sure that I know whats happening. The receptionists (Alexandra and Maya) at the front desk have kindly helped me sort out some insurance issues, making sure that I didnt stress unnecessarily. Overall my adjustments here have been great, and I would highly recommend Dr. Go to anyone in Northern Virginia looking for a chiropractor!

I suffered with a severe amount of back and hip pain for a few years, after being injured and having a few herniated discs in my back. I ended up going to two different chiropractors and neither of them could fix me. They didnt seem to take their time but rushed through the sessions, and often I felt more pain than usual for days later after the sessions. Their alignments were not precise, so often times would push something to far than what it needed to be, so they could never get the adjustment correct. It was beyond frustrating as well as painful!I gave up on Chiropractors and saw my Family Doctor about the pain and he prescribed muscle relaxers. I only took them when the pain became unbearable, because the pills made me very groggy, so I didnt like taking them. I even went to a specialist who suggested I try out shoe inserts since one foot was longer than the other. So I bought a very expensive custom made pair but the still the pain persisted (because the problem was my spine was all misaligned including my hips and I couldnt find anyone who was skilled enough to put things back into place correctly).I tried everything on my own to fix my back on my own, like buying an inversion table, upside down gravity boots to hook into a bar, Thai Yoga, Massage, etc.. Nothing would realign my spine or take away the pain.I gave on finding the cure for about a year or so, and just figured this was how I was going to feel the rest of my life. Than, in desperation, I started doing online research again to hunt for another Chiropractor and came across Doctor Gos website and saw he not only did manual adjustments but also had the Pro-Adjuster. I gave him a call and scheduled an appointment and he changed my life for the better - He is a true healer!He took his time to figure out what was wrong (he feels up and down your spine and examines your hips and has an awesome ability to pin-point what vertabra are misaligned). He generally uses the Pro-Adjuster on me, and it works like a charm. Doctor Go explains everything he is about to do before hand and explains what he sees is wrong (he doesnt rush). I am always amazed how how he is able to quickly identify and isolate the exact problem areas, and at how precise he is in moving things back into position.There are no surprises as he explains everything he is about to do, unlike the other chiropractors I visited. In the beginning I would go to him frequently since my body was out of alignment for so long it was hard for it to stay put in the correct position, but thanks to Dr. Go, now I feel great and pain free finally. I never thought I would ever get rid of all that pain (back pain takes complete control over you and constantly dwells on your mind), so I am very grateful to him for taking that away. My back is soo much stronger and I am able to workout (lifting weights, biking, rowing machines, etc..) and the big plus is able to lift my daughter without all the shooting pain I use to have through my body.I rarely go in for adjustments now, except on those rare occasions that I throw my back out with over doing it and lifting something really heavy by myself, like a memory foam King mattress for example. But, at those times, Doctor Go is always quick to get me in and get me patched back up.Doctor Go is the only Chiropractor I will see (and I drive a long distance to see him) and the only one I would recommend - He is highly skilled and I trust him with one of the most important part of my body - My central nervous system. I tried the rest, but Doctor Go. is the best.5 out of 5 stars

We went to see Dr. Go for car accident injuries by recommendation from a close friend. From my familys first visit to the present Dr. Go has been and is still awesome, very responsive and adaptive to feedback.

James Go, D.C., is top notch & by far the best chiropractor Ive ever seen out of more than a dozen in the 14 years since I injured my lumbar spine badly, which led to inevitable, slowly worsening disability. I eventually had a fusion in 2010, but it failed due to causing new problems that were excruciatingly painful.Dr. Go is the first chiropractor (trained in PT as well) that correctly identified my issues, & was able to cut my pain by 80%. He has helped me heal the secondary problems caused by the failed fusion. He even helped me with my gait & footwear, which has greatly cut down on my chiropractic visits. In short, he has helped keep the excruciating pain from recurring weekly.The way he runs his office is also excellent. Anyone living in chronic spine pain knows that pain can increase rapidly at any time, & you need an adjustment quickly, even without an appointment. Dr. Go has always made time for me so that I dont have to wait in pain a few days for my adjustment.

Dr. Go and his front desk staff are amazing. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by someone with a kind, compassionate attitude. Dr. Gos office is easy to get to (by George Mason) and when you enter its clean, organized and very relaxing. What is uniqe about Dr. Go and his staff is that they all are kind towards not only the patient, but also the family member. :)I had to bring my newborn son (Timothy) in as his pediatrician was getting very concerned about his torticollis. He only wanted to look one way. Regardless of how much we did neck stretches with him it didnt get better. If anything it was getting worse as he was getting older (this was then at 2 weeks old).I ended up stumbling across Dr. Go via online and I am so glad I did. Not to many folks do chiropractic care on pediatrics. I quickly booked an appointment for Timothy and got in right away.The first treatment Dr. Go did on Timothy was amazing. He (Timothy) was so much calmer. He wasnt restless and he slept for hours after his treatment. He was so relaxed. After a few more treatments Dr. Go fixed Timothys torticollis. His pediatrician was in shock that Dr. Go did such an amazing job on treating such a condition like Timothys.Dr. Go (and front desk staff) Thanks for taking such great care of Timothy and for explaining everything to such a confused mom like me. :) You guys are amazing and keep up the fantastic work!And most of all Timothy says thank you as he can breastfeed better, he can look around and his neck dont bother him! :)

For several years, I was struggling with TMJ. My jaw would frequently lock and be very sore, and I would often get severe headaches from it. My dentist gave me some suggestions for mouth guards, but there was still no relief. Then I decided to go to Dr. Go, and he has been the greatest help! On the first day, he thoroughly examined my jaw and listened carefully to all my complaints and concerns and set me on a treatment plan. After getting treatment from Dr. Go and doing his prescribed exercises, my TMJ has significantly decreased, and I rarely get headaches! I would highly recommend Dr. Go and Movement Chiropractic to anyone seeking out a chiropractor in the Northern Virginia area. Dr. Go is kind, patient, and gentle -- definitely a huge relief when youre aching and need someone to move your bones around.

I am so thankful I found Dr. Go. Before seeing him I was having bad headaches and neck stiffness. Dr. Go has been seeing my boyfriend and I for several weeks now and hes been awesome. before finding him my boyfriend went to another chiropractic office in woodbridge (cant remember the name) but they charged him $300 for the first appointment (oh and he has insurance) and they didnt even adjust his back. they just did some electric therapy crap. Dr. Go did xrays and an adjustment the first visit. after a few weeks of treatment he did an xray again to show me my progress. my boyfriend and I have experienced significant difference in our back. He is very attentive and doesnt rush your visits. Highly recommend!
