Usually not too crowded. I tend to workout around 9-11. Very clean and the staff is friendly. My wife and I started coming here two years ago after California Fitness pricing was difficult to eat every month. We never used the pool or classes there, so Planet Fitness seemed like a good fit. LOL. Anyway we like that we can use a club anywhere in the country. We’ve hit about 10 different clubs when traveling so far and they’ve all been great!

“The World Judges, We Dont. At Planet Fitness, Be Free”, the last place I expected to be judge. My cousin and I been going to this gym for the past 3 weeks and for some reason the front desk lady denied my cousin entry. I told her why and she explains child are not allowed to enter without their parent/guardian(btw Im 24). I told her I was the guardian and he lives with me. She repeated herself children are not allowed without their parent/guardian and i replied back im the guardian and why was he going to the gym with me for the past 3 week and no one stop me her response was I dont know who allowed you to enter with him blah blah blah. I took my cousin back to my car and I told him its not your fault. After a minutes talking to him I walk back in to cancel my gym membership. As a brown person I expect not be judged by a person of color.Instead of me reaching out and trying to find a solution, why dont you reach out to this facility so this doesnt happen again.

Great staff! Clean machines and lots of them! New state of the art machines. Nice outdoor pool that is saltwater so easy on your skin n hair! I really love this place!!

I really like my gym, it is huge and always clean, a lot of cardio machines to choose from, nice people at the front desk, used to go to this location when it was anytime fitness but this one is even better, I pay less monthly and I can bring a guest anytime I want, also the tanning, hydromassage beds and the massage chairs are included with the black card.

The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the use of the exercise equipment. Which is always a plus. They are also friendly.

Came in on an early Saturday morning. It looks small, but machines are well spaced. Super clean, employees are incredibly friendly and quick to help when asked. They have three rows of TVs which is nice because whatever cardio you choose, it’s easy to see a screen. While the showers look pretty and new, the shower heads suck. It’s the super cheap head and they’re so high up it’s difficult to reposition for those vertically challenged. ProTip: use the disabled shower stall.

No Privacy Glass. All front windowpanes are clear. Very unusual. Most of the time the showers are gross. No hairdryers. But $10 a month 24hrs open, $20 includes tanning, hydro massage beds and massage chairs. Free wifi how can you go wrong.

UPDATE: Still dealing with this company attempting to get gym fees from my bank when I was no longer active. I had hope as A NEW AREA DIRECTOR Ali portrayed himself as someone who could resolve this. Now hes ghosting. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY your bank and routing info. They will continue to try to collect fees even when you are no longer a member and will ruin your bank account. The bank told me they are notorious for this.UPDATE: Management hung up on me. Refuses to refund any overdraft fees and had the nerve to be rude to me after me and my daughter were victimized. So, IF YOU ARE FEMALE OR DISABLED BEWARE THIS GYM WILL NOT PROTECT YOU FROM ITS PREDATORY EMPLOYEES. Not a friendly place for your beautiful Autistic children either.Beware if you are autistic or disabled. This gym allows predators to work and maintain their employment during the late shift. My autistic daughter was picked on and harassed and this GYM DID NOTHING. The creep still works there and my account is now is overdrawn with their continued erroneous billing.

I am so disappointed with planet Fitness I never was able to use my membership due to covid I never was notified that planets Fitness had opened up they went into my checking account and they withdrew the funds I noticed it right away I questioned them I kept being put off from one manager to another manager finally they gave me an email address of a Layna Lucette which I emailed her twice asking for a refund I never received a response from her finally I contacted planet Fitness and I spoke to a Jesse which he told me several lies and I called him out on it this is not professional and it is not good customer service I let him know that I really wanted to talk to someone really higher up and he just gave me the name for the regional director this is bad business the customer is always right I simply asked for a refund was notified through Jesse that they denied a refund I never received any type of correspondence stating why the refund was denied I am so disappointed implantis Fitness I will no longer do business with them.

Love getting back into the gym, were its all about me.

I just Don’t Like PF equipment, I never feel like I get a good work out, especially the ab benches, there so hard to lift

Very clean and super friendly staff. Hannah is a great personal trainer there. It is definitely less crowded than other PFs in Sacramento. This location is by far the best one I know.The front staff are always smiling and attentive. Ive never had to wait for one of the four hydro massage beds (two flat ones and two lounge kind). The locker room is very well-maintained as well.The only thing I would suggest: I wish they had a digital or a newer scale. I dont trust the one in the locker room...It lies!

First day of being back open since the start of COVID-19. Was actually surprised it was as busy at it was, also guessing the staff was happy to be back at work. Planet fitness was practicing social workouts, every other piece of equipment was closed off from use and the staff followed up after the equipment was used with a complete wipe down. Planet fitness is a professionally ran gym and it showed.

The manager, LaChe, needs to be trained in customer service. Im thankful I have now cancelled my membership.

I’m leaving this review because of one person she was absolutely amazing, she handled my issue in less the 10 min, mind you this included her having to call me back with the outcome. Once you hang up with customer service you don’t get your call returned, and she had a resolution. Oh not to mention it is 4:30PM pst on FRIDAY!!!! IMPRESSIVEThe resolution didnt work Entirely in my favor but With the services I just received i can except that. She is an outstanding woman I can finish up a day without a bad attitude because of the situation that still stands. That is because of my over the phone interaction with LACHE, she is the definition of great customer service. When you have an escalated call and a customer at the point I was, you only hope ur agent can make the best of the call. LACHE did more then that, she’s one of the most professional people I’ve spoke to in customer service, she’s relatable, her tone is amazing, she works in a timely fashion, and she does the best she can for anybody that calls and I can tell.Planet Fitness Is LUCKY to have her, I really hope they are taking care of her because she is one of them employees you need on your team!!LACHE at FAIR-OAKS Kudos to you, shoot for the stars, your potential is beyond this world and I wish the best for you ! thank you for putting a smile back on my face. Great place work out with super friendly staff. Not too crowded most of the time. Seems like there is always a treadmill open as well as other cardio machines. Weights are also plentiful and accessible.

The staff there are always friendly and professional. Machines and gym in general are always clean. Their prices are competitive and there is plenty of equipment for which ever level of fitness you are.

Planet Fitness is GREEDY!All I wanted was my refund of $15 from the Month of March due to the Covid situation.I talked with the manager of the location I was working out at - Club #09979, to see if I could just get my refund instead of the free month from June 17th to July 17th because due to their new hours (6am-9pm , Mon-Fri) I wouldnt be able to make it up there, due to MY Schedule. I would usually go around 11pm or Midnight OR the WEEKEND. Which is why I (& Im sure most of you) enjoyed the 24 hrs.The manager & employee I spoke with said they do not give out refunds but to talk to corporate to see if they could help but, OF COURSE, they dont give a sh*t & are just as greedy & unhelpful.I understand its ONLY $15 but thats MY $15 from MY bank account!I will never go back to Planet Fitness again & I wouldnt recommend to ANYONE!

Actually I just quit the gym because they are requiring people to wear masks in and out of the building and while transferring from machine to machine but not while you work out. Dumbest thing Ive ever heard. Its unfortunate because the people that work there are really great

If your looking for a gym home, choose another location! The manager and assistant manager for this location are extremely unprofessional. I was told to look it up myself online after asking for a phone number. Disgusting employees would deter any sane person from visiting an establishment. This is NOT the gym for you I can assure you !

I am sooo excited to start going here! I signed up in Jan and have been waiting for my location to open and now that it is I am so excited! I loved when anytime was here but this one is bigger & more amenities! I am paying$20 for everything and with anytime I paid $50 and they barely had any machines - one tanning bed and no massages.I am so happy! I cant work out yet due to injuries but the massage and tanning are calling my name!UPDATE- I went in last night for the first time and it was really NICE! Very Clean- modern aesthetics. They have a section to the left when you walk in that you can hit the spa- for Massages and Tanning. And to the right is the gym! I find that very nice since I can not work out yet I can still use my membership to tan get massages and do not have to walk through the entire gym in between people working out to get there! Also the tanning is closed off in a personal room. They have like 5-6 beds! So awesome! 1-2 Standing beds and the rest lay down. The lay down bed was much nicer than I expected- it has a facial tanner (it gets hot I recommend not using it the entire tan) I am very happy with this gym! I can not wait until I can get back into the gym when I finally heal.Also the staff was very nice and helpful! I will say one girl was a little bothered when I mentioned another thing that the other PF gyms have she kinda took it as dig at their gym but I was just simply asking. So I felt she was kinda offended but other than that it was an AMAZING experience cant wait to keep going back!

Customer service counter- man was being tyrranical about the rules. I a full- paid black card member wasnt allowed to have my husband try each of the hydro- beds, even though when I signed up they said I could, and I told Winnie that he had thrown his back out. After that refusal I set him and went to walk for ten minutes. 6 minutes in he told me I had to put my wallet in a locker even though I only had 4 min left.

Customer service is terrible! Poorly qualified people to work there and serve customers! The structure of the gym is very good!

Due to the staff members inability to take our bank information properly not once but three times, we where charged 160$ when they finally took the money out of the account they couldnt get right for two accounts being late. This being the same account they didnt have the right numbers for, they magically got them right 2 months later....hmm.Upon calling them on it and even pointing one of the staff whom took our information, I was told there was nothing that could be done. The manager herself said it was her staffs fault for the account information being taken wrong. She offered a few months free but that is not copestetic. Due to incompetent staff members I had to pay the penalties. Needless to say they could keep the 160$ but not my business they clearly needed the money.

On a recent visit I walked into the club and the oppressive heat was overwhelming, then came the musty odor. Its almost June, time to turn on the A/C. It was so uncomfortably warm I couldnt finish my workout

This planet fitness has some of the better and newer equipment that I have seen at other planet fitness but is very small and usually crowded.
